Do you know what you got into Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do------------------------------------------------}:- SAI No escaping when I start .traeh ruoy nwo I ni m'I ecnO
"There is nothing wrong with wanting to have someone in your life, Naoko. But lets look at this from another angle. While you're wanting to fill that space, what is Ryu wanting? A dependable lover, one who will be in his bed every night. Maybe even think about his needs on a regular basis. How can you promise to take care of Ryu, when you cannot address your own problems?" Sai would have rather dragged Naoko home with him at this point just to start pulling his brother's affairs back in order but he knew Naoko would rebel if he did. So he'd wait until the pressure got to much for him. He knew eventually, Naoko would return if his fears overwhelmed him.
"Yes, you will feel guilty because you're not ready to make a commitment to anyone. And that guilt is going to eat you up and only make Ryu feel worse. The promise to take care of him is only to relieve your guilt not ease his health. You're not responsible for his well being and in your own mental state, I don't think you'll be helpful to his well being."
He shook his head and sighed slightly trying to quiet his own inner desires. The feat was quite difficult because that tiny smile and confused blush were tempting the darker thoughts that stirred. "Otouto, you shouldn't feel guilty about Ishi because you didn't know that Kai had someone else. That's Kai's responsibility not yours." Then he paused and finally swallowed that needful desire capturing once again his brotherly spirit. From there, he brought for his next strategy to address Naoko's array of issues.
"If you think you cannot break your promise, then you need to tell Ryu the truth and say that you are not ready for permanent relationship or commitment. That you have issues to work out in your head and you cannot be good boyfriend in your current state of mind. You need to sleep on your own mat not his. And perform the service of helping him heal like a normal friend. Keep your hands to yourself and learn about the man that you're helping. That would be new for you, yes? Maybe you will discover that he is a person you'd like to know better. Or maybe not. Either way, until you go back to your home and sort out your personal demons, you cannot afford to let your Guilt use you and cause you to make poor decisions beyond this one."
After that, Sai took a breath realizing that Naoko needed more than just a brother but a psychologist. Maybe he'd research a few options afterwards if Naoko didn't start to improve in the future. However, Sai did consider calling Ryu himself on the matter and just handle the affair. He wasn't sure of Ryu's personality enough to know what to do about him yet. But, he'd find out soon enough. What Sai was sure about was that Ryu was wanting to keep Naoko around. Maybe Ryu thought Naoko was an easy catch? Sai didn't believe in love at first sight and right now, Naoko could be taken by anything that forced him down or made him guilty enough.
He tilted his head and watched Naoko for a moment still considering what to do. He almost changed his mind and dragged Naoko home, but...Sai want Naoko to admit that desire first. So he'd wait. Yes, he'd meet Ryu soon too. And from there...he'd...decide what to do.

"That guilt is going to eat you up and only make Ryu feel worse. The promise to take care of him is only to relieve your guilt not ease his health."
"Perform the service of helping him heal like a normal friend. Keep your hands to yourself."
As Naoko listened to his brother's advice... the man suddenly realized something. He, himself, was a horribly selfish person... Everything he'd been doing was, as Sai said, to assuage his own guilt. Nothing had REALLY been for Ryu. Nothing... Without knowing, tears started to cascade silently down the blond's cheeks... and when he did realize it, it was too late to stop them. "F***..." Naoko whispered, angrily wiping the tears from his eyes. 'I'm not some damn weepy uke! What am I doing?! What's wrong with me?!' But the tears wouldn't stop. Frustrated with himself and the sight he was making, Naoko folded his arms onto the booth table and leaned his head down, hiding the tears and trying to compose himself again. He didn't want Sai seeing him like this... For a few minutes, NAKO did nothing but cry silently, arms curled protectively to hide his tears from his brother. "Doushite?" the blond whispered eventually. "Why couldn't he just want a good time every now and then? Why did he have to ask me to... to commit to a relationship? It would've been so damn easy!" Naoko stopped for a moment to try and composure himself. "I'd have been perfectly happy hoping from one bed to another... even if it was wrong... even if it didn't really fill the void in my heart... it would've been easier!" Sighing angrily, Naoko sat up, his tears gone as amber eyes focused on the man beside him. "Gomen, niisan... I sound like a bad soap opera, don't I?" the man asked, trying to joke. But it really didn't work... and it only made him feel worse. Sighing again, the blond laid his head down on his arms, though he was still facing Sai. "Ryu can't do anything for himself right now... he's on heavy pain medication and I don't want the baka overdosing because I broke his heart. I... I can't leave him right now. Even if I can't make a decision... and even if my presence there ends up driving me insane with guilt... I just... I can't leave him right now... Gomen..."

Do you know what you got into Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do------------------------------------------------}:- SAI No escaping when I start .traeh ruoy nwo I ni m'I ecnO
The rum and coke was weak after the ice had melted much like his brother before him. The tears flowing down each cheek made Sai's decision for him. Actually, he couldn't see the tears but the sniffles and reactions told him everything. Enough was enough!
He had given Naoko many chances to walk out of the bar but Naoko never took any of the opportunities. It was almost as if subconsciously he was trying to tell Sai the words that he was unwilling to say. Help me. Since Naoko couldn't control his own life it was time for someone else to take the matter in hand. "Why...well, some men want a weekend lover and some are looking for a long term one. There's nothing wrong with jumping from bed to bed if you don't want a commitment and are clear up front about it. You have to start by being honest with those around you and yourself."
But that was the problem, Naoko would instead wallow in the mire he made and become more of a mess. His brother looked like he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Yes, Enough...indeed.
"Yes, you do." He admitted as he came to his own decisions about the rest of Naoko's day. His brother's face was so....puffy from crying that it made Sai just a slight bit edgy.
At this point, Sai pulled out his wallet and tossed a few bills on the table for the barmaid. "This is for the drinks and the soup. And no, don't even start telling me you're paying for that."
Then, he got up and walked around the booth to take Naoko by the arm pulling him out of the booth. "The insanity is stopping now." Sai said firmly. "I won't allow you to do this to yourself or your band." He dragged Naoko out of the bar not missing the soup in a to-go cup on the counter. He pushed the soup into Naoko's hands to hold and forced his brother into the car. Not taking no for an answer, he made sure the child lock was on from Naoko's side before getting in himself.
He stepped on the gas and after a minute or two he finally said, "There are Kleenex in the glove compartment. Use them." As they drove on, Sai strummed his fingers on the wheel once again having to consolidate his thoughts on the whole scenario at hand. "Ryu is not going to overdose. I am going to send over a real nurse to help and check on him. That is what should have been done in the first place. Because you're in no condition to take care of him. You tell me that you cannot leave him, but here you are. I gave you plenty of opportunities to go, Ko-kun...and yet you remained." he said in a resolved tone before going silent. Not everything he said was the way he would handle it but...Naoko didn't need to know that. This situation had driven him far off his natural state of being...at least his natural state at work. No one would have ever guessed that he could be so in control. It was something Naoko brought out of him; a focus on something he held quite dear.
Eventually, they arrived at a very posh residence and he pulled the car into the garage and pocketed his keys. "Now, we're going inside and I will show you to your room. Once we are there, you'll go into the bathroom and wash up...then take a nap." Sai's demanding nature was undeviating in his desire to settle his brother's spiral. He wouldn't bend or compromise with Naoko at this point. It was after he gave his directions that he lifted the latch and let Naoko out of the car.
Once inside, he pulled Naoko up the stairs not bothering to show him around the house although it was easy to see that Sai had a fair income or his company was putting him up good. If Naoko put up any sort of commotion, Sai would just pick him up and bridal carry him into the bedroom that was tastefully arranged but a rather colorful display of vivid oranges and bright sky blue. There Sai gently put his brother upon the bed.
"Ko-kun, don't make me get angry...just do as you told and make the best of it. I know you might not like what I've done but...it is for your own good." With that he walked out the door, quietly locking the room from the outside.
As he walked down the stairs, he gestured to his body guards. "Make sure he doesn't try to sneak out or shimmy down from a window while I am gone. My brother can be a stubborn scamp at times." With that he left again...Time to take care of Ryu.

Every time that Naoko had tried to interject, Sai was quick to cut him off. A whirlwind of motion, the pianist found himself going from the booth to the street to a car to a garage to a house and finally into a bedroom. And not only was he in a bedroom... but he was locked in! "Niisan!" Finally with the door closed, he could get a word in edge-wise. "He's going to find out I lied, damn it! I told Ryu I was meeting my manager! Niisan!" no answer... "NIISAN!" After silence was all that met him, Naoko shouted at the top of his lungs... "SAI!!!!" How utterly embarrassing... Dragged from point A to point B like some little kid. Pouting, Naoko sat down on the edge of the bed, legs crossed under him and knees in the air. He extended his arms, pushing down on the bed with his palms on the bedspread in his lap, before looking to the side. He was pouting so obviously... and looking like a spoiled little brat. "Ryu's going to hate me..." Naoko whispered, amber gaze focused out the window. The sun was going down... Sighing, the pianist pulled out his cellphone and flipped it open. He quickly began sending a text message to his akuma.
TEXT: Ryu. I lied. I went to meet my brother. He is going to deliver some soup to you. Gomen...
"How can I say, 'I'm sorry that I over-reacted and had a nervous breakdown and now my brother is going to come over there and probably molest you... if you're lucky?'..." Naoko whispered to the silence around him. After a few moments, he collapsed backward onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling. It was in that moment, that something suddenly occurred to Oumori for the first time since he'd run into his brother... "Wait... he didn't try to molest ME!" That was a first...

Sai opened the lid to the soup and took a whiff...ugh...bar food and he could tell. No, this wouldn't do. He tossed it out as soon as a trash presented itself, before entering an eatery with finer foods. It wasn't long before he procured a couple proper soups that a sick man could stomach safely. Then he, tapped out the number on his cell phone and called the hospital to prepare the nursing service. All this work seemed tedious but considering the circumstances he felt better handling it himself than having his secretary line things up.
From there, he picked up flowers because normal people brought flowers to cheer up others. He chose Spring time brightly colored daisies then added a few Iris just to give it a touch of Naoko to the mix.
As he left the florist, he finally made his way back to Ryu's place and met the nurse outside. Once he spoke with her, he walked up the stairs and rang the doorbell then said, "Ryuukaze-san, I'm Naoko's brother. I've brought your soup in Naoko's stead and a nurse to check up on you." From that point, he waited for Ryu to respond before going any further.

Ryuukaze “I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.” Still lying in the exact same spot, Ryu had made himself content reading the lyrics and sheet music he had penned over and over, making sure that it was perfect. However, when a lilting voice came through his door proclaiming to be Naoko's brother...coming in Naoko's stead?....Ryu's heart skipped a beat. "Come in!" the violinist spoke crisply. The first thought to cross his mind was that something bad had happened to Naoko. Secondly...he hadn't known Naoko had a brother. Huh. “For Love is Immortality.”

K a i - H i g u r iKai walked in hesitantly and stood around awkwardly, not sure exactly what to do. The booth wasn't quite the biggest one he had ever been in, but there was room enough that no... misunderstandings could occur. Still, Kai wasn't sure whether he should sit down and hope that things go well, or stand around against the door and give Izzy some space. Izzy sure seemed flustered enough.
In the end, Kai just closed the door behind him and leaned against it, arms crossed over his chest. Not sure what to say in a greeting, Kai was glad that Izzy took the initiative to start off the awkward meeting. Kai wasn't sure if he had enough gall at the moment to say much to try to mend their relationship before it had even started. It was obvious, at least to Kai himself, that Kai was sorry for what had happened that afternoon. His debauchery had cost him quite a bit in the way of gentlemanly kindness, and Kai definitely regretted such actions that had occurred that afternoon.
"Would you like to talk about your schedule first? I've created a chart here...in regards to your performance record and I thought...we could go over it."
Kai coughed a little, clearing his throat, but more so to relieve the awkward heaviness of the air that he felt. Keeping his position at the door, Kai smiled a little and murmured, "Sure." He wasn't sure what else to say.
Of course, this wouldn't go for much conversation in the long run, and it wasn't quite polite either. Kai knew that he had to do better. Sighing, he stood up from the door and walked over to the table, where Izzy was sitting rifling through his papers in search of that oh so interesting chart. Frankly, Kai could care less at the moment. His mind was on other things, such as trying to find a way to apologize. He had to let his new manager knew that he wasn't as much of an a** as he had made himself out to be at first. Now, how to do that would be hard.
Sitting down across from Izzy, trying to give as much space as possible between the two of them while still seeming polite and civil, Kai interjected, "But before we go over that, would you like to order dinner? It's on me... or on the company, but I'd rather pay for it."
Hopefully he wouldn't deem it too suspicious that Kai was offering to pay when this dinner was most probably within the budget of the company. Kai considered this part of his apology, and he hoped that Izzy wouldn't look too far into this.((Oi Kaiko. Why do you bold some parts of text and not others? It confuses me so! Oh, and I'm liking those Adam Lambert lyrics you got there. Nice song~)) N a k a i

"Dinner?" Izzy paused for a moment his eyes shifting left and right almost as if he had forgotten something. "Oh...my...how rude of me. I'm so sorry...I wasn't thinking..." He plucked out the chart though and set it aside finally, then dragged the papers into a neater pile and put them further aside. "Ah...yes, I'd like to eat something." He wasn't sure if he was really hungry...well yes, his stomach was hungry but his mind wasn't really on the idea of food.
The day had gone from ugly to just wretched but there was nothing he could do about it; except do what he'd always do - work. He glanced around and then plucked the menus out from his stack of paper. It was difficult not to be distracted but slow and surely he tried to get things back under control.
"I...well...the company was going to pay for it. I mean, its a business expense. But, if that is what you want to do then I won't stop you." He looked at the menu and thumbed down the choice. This seemed normal...right? Ordering dinner with your Star? As he glanced along he realized that there were many comfort foods on the menu....so his stomach won him over.
Looking up he, hit a button to call their waiter and soon as the Ninja slipped into the room, Izzy placed his order. It was a mix of sushi from rolls to uni and a large diet coke. Yes, he was staying away from anymore alcohol tonight. He'd sooth himself with some more later...in private. After he ordered, he waited for Nakai to as well. As he watched Nakai he wondered what was going on in his head because the man wasn't acting anything like he did this morning. It confused Izzy greatly but nothing seemed impossible today after all that had happened to him.
"Looks like you've a rough day too." he said softly after the Ninja had left with their orders. He didn't mention their meeting this morning but he had to wonder about the events afterwards. His fingers stayed lightly upon the chart knowing he could always fall back the the subject of work quickly if he had a hard time talking about other things.

K a i - H i g u r iKai watched as Izzy tried to gather himself together. It was obvious that something had happened in this room to make the man so flustered, but Kai wasn't about to ask what it was. Though he wanted to think that that was because he was a gentleman, it was probably more so because he suspected it would remind him too much of the event that had passed that afternoon. And as of the moment, Kai didn't really need a reminder of that.
Kai remained silent as Izzy apologized for having forgotten about dinner. It was all right. Kai understood that Izzy was having quite a... tumultuous day. Kai himself was having quite a harsh day too, though it was probably even worse for Izzy, who probably thought that he had just gotten himself into hell by accepting Kai as a star. But this was one of Kai's missions. Kai had to try to persuade Izzy that he was just being an extreme a** this afternoon, and that he wasn't usually like that. But as Kai knew quite well, that would take quite a bit of persuasion.
Kai barely looked down at the menu when it was his time to order. He was quite sure that he probably wouldn't taste the food as it passed down to his stomach anyways. Nevertheless, he had to be polite enough to take a quick scan of the menu and make it seem as if he wasn't as focused on redemption as he actually was. He simply ordered some maki and a whole array of sushi. He had to admit that sushi was his weakness. He could probably eat sushi forever if given the chance.
"Looks like you've had a rough day too."
Kai wasn't sure what to say. The surprise he felt showed in his eyes as he glanced Izzy over quickly. He hadn't expected this subject to be breached so quickly, let alone breached at all. Clearing his throat once again, Kai leaned down on his elbow, still quite at a loss for words.
"... Yeah," Kai finally murmured, smiling ruefully. He even addeda little chuckle at the end.
"By the way, I'm... I'm terribly sorry for having... interrupted." This was a delicate apology to phrase, and it was one of the many that Kai had to give to Izzy. Might as well start with the easiest... Kai looked up and made eye contact with Izzy to show his earnestness in apologizing.N a k a i

Sai entered the apartment with the nurse in tow and the bag of soup containers in hand and flowers. He walked through the apartment until he found the room that held Ryu. "Ah there you are." he said with a bright smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I'm sure Naoko, has not mentioned much about me in the day you've known him but, I'm Oumori Sai, Naoko's elder brother. These are for you." Just like gentleman, he carefully placed the flowers upon Ryu's lap so he could enjoy the brightly colored daisies and iris mix for a few minutes. "I'll have the nurse put them in a vase soon. Oh...And I've brought the soup that you requested. There are two bowls in the bag because Naoko wasn't certain what you were able to stomach right now."
It wasn't too hard to see the resemblance between Naoko and his brother once you knew both of them. It was something about the face and maybe the height; but obviously Sai had a more confident demeanor. "I'm sure you're wondering what happened with Naoko so I will give you a brief explaination. I came in Naoko's stead because Naoko is having some personal difficulties and thus I've taken him back to my home to sort them out. While he's quite ridden with guilt about your condition, he's not well himself and I cannot allow him to take care of your health while suffering himself."
He paused for a moment while his eyes focused on Ryu with a steady gaze. It was almost as if the intensity in those eyes could devour the lush boy in front of him. Yes, he was a predator in his own right even if beholden to the mission he had put himself on for his brother's benefit. Although at the moment, Sai was in control and he remembered how much Naoko wished him NOT to meet Ryu. Well he could see why...Ryu had a pretty face and a few other attributes that...Remember this won't help Naoko. He'd try...
"The nurse is certified in house services for in home patients. And she can provide the proper care until you've recovered enough to get about again. Has your Studio been contacted of your condition? If not, I can have my secretary reach out to them."
While he waited for Ryu's answers he took a quick glance at his phone; because it might not be a smart idea to eye such a delectable target. Naoko's boyfriend - Note to Self. So he focused on the schedule that his phone offered and realized that this day had really messed up his schedule. Didn't he have a photo shoot....at...Oh well, he was never one to be predictable! -:{------------------------------------------------Cause it’s about to get rough for you I’m here For Your Entertainment

"By the way, I'm... I'm terribly sorry for having... interrupted."
Izzy bit his bottom lip as his fingers started to clench at the chart. He swallowed slowly as his words came a bit hoarse out while he tried keep himself from becoming upset. "I'm...I'm glad you did." His voice becoming almost a whisper, "He might have done worse...if you hadn't." No, Izzy knew better. Koyasu-san would have done worse; there was no Might about it.
His eyes blinked for a second and his hand let go of the now crumpled chart. "This hasn't been a normal day." Picking up a napkin, he dotted his eye rather quickly, "I..I want to assure you that this isn't what my days are like. I really do know how to do my job. I've taken other stars up the ladder of success...I've just never had...anything like today happen in my...life."
And for a moment, he went silent trying to keep himself from coming to tears. He really didn't want to seem incapable and it was so hard to keep a steady gaze on the man before him when he was trying not to cry.

Ryuukaze “I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.” Shocked was an understatement. Naoko's brother...Sai...he was, well, physically more beautiful than Naoko...somehow...even though they looked rather alike. 'Great...now there's THREE of them...' the violinist thought to himself in passing, the idea of Kai flitting through his head. Sai had placed a bouquet of flowers in his lap and briefly looked him in the eye, upon which Ryu found himself blushing slightly. This Naoko-like man...Naoko's BROTHER...was so...so.... ....seme.... Every random thought ceased however when Sai told him exactly why he was here, and what was going on with Naoko. "Difficulties? Guilt? Kami-sama, he didn't do anything wrong! Why didn't he just stop by or something?" Clearly, Ryu was upset, but not upset in the fashion one might have expected of him. When it came to Naoko, regardless of the time he had known the man, Ryu would put aside any and every self-related issue to insure his tenshi's happiness. This was, after all, a vow he had made to himself...to do everything he could to put Naoko first. No more pathetic whining and crying. Ryu had figured out that Naoko wasn't ok, but he hadn't realized just how terribly he had screwed things up for his lover until now, sitting here with Naoko's brother bringing him soup and flowers. After a few moments silence, Ryu spoke up. "Gomen, Sai-san. I'm sorry for causing trouble, and I'm glad to know you're here for your brother. Don't worry about my other affairs, they've been deal with...but...Naoko is going to be ok though, right?" Ryuukaze's demon-red eyes were pleading, somehow cute even, and the akuma, without his knowledge, was a gorgeous sight to behold, even in this injured, pathetic state. “For Love is Immortality.”

Sai watched the nurse pick up the flowers and take them off to the kitchen to place in a vase. Then, he leaned up against the wall and slid his phone back into his pocket as Ryu spoke. The words weren't a surprise in some ways considering Naoko's side to the tale.
"No, he didn't do anything wrong, I agree. But at the moment, he's not thinking clearly about problems in his life so he's making poor decisions concerning other people. Right now, with your health conditions, you need to be focusing on getting well and your work. Not Naoko's problems. If he had come back by, he would have attempted to fulfill his promise but his own state would not have allowed him to do a proper job of it slowing your progress to recovery." From what Sai had scene it was a fair assessment and really his brother had no right to add more issues to a Ryu's health situation.
He tilted his head slightly as he listened to the next question and watched Ryu's eyes. Maybe they were just a tad distracting but he quickly returned himself to task by the time the question was finished, "Mm...well, in time I think. He needs time to understand his own needs better. I think he'd be happier as a friend or a lover but not a full time partner. If you understand what I am saying."
He wouldn't go into the details of Naoko's issues because Ryu had only been involved with Naoko one day. Ryu couldn't be considered family by any stretch in Sai's eyes. Although, he felt obligated to take care of the issue since Naoko could only make a further mess of it. Unfortunately, in the matter of the brothers, Sai was surprisingly the more realistically responsible of the two. Naoko probably had better intentions but disastrous execution.
Sai on the other hand was a much more manipulative soul and while he was taking Naoko's needs to heart he still had undressed Naoko's boyfriend once or twice in the back of his mind. It was ashame that the young man wasn't well. Naoko worried too much...Ryu was ill afterall. Mmm...wait...there was that one. Oh well...Mmm...maybe Naoko did have something to worry about. But still, Naoko was waiting for him at home and probably timing him at this point.
He smirked with that thought then asked, "Is their anything you'd like me to tell Naoko? I'm certain you'll see him again soon since you've a short musical arrangement with his band. So try not to worry too much. Just think about getting well and returning to work. Then, when Naoko is ready, I'm sure that he and you can talk." Sai could manage to offer small assurances so Ryu would focus on getting well but after that, he'd leave the rest to Naoko.

Ryuukaze “I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.” "I see." Ryu said flatly. Naoko didn't need him...and most likely didn't really want him. He felt guilty...that was all. Ryu the baka. That was always how it was. Stupid, stupid Ryu. "Just tell Naoko I said I'm sorry, and to relax. I'm fine...everything is just...fine." It amazed the violinist that he was able to keep a smile on his face through this. "And thank you, Sai." he added, sitting up just a bit in an attempt to politely show some respect for Naoko's elder brother. As he did so, however, the sheet that was pulled up around him fell, revealing a smooth, though bandaged, chest and midriff where Ryu had taken off his shirt to get more comfortable. Still being a bit loopy from the medication, it didn't even occur to the violinist that perhaps he should cover himself. “For Love is Immortality.”

K a i - H i g u r iKai bit his bottom lip as Izzy spoke. This definitely wasn't helping his guilt at all. Not only had he been an absolute a** to Ishi, Naoko, and his new manager, Kai now learned that he did even worse. Had it not been for his stupid hormonal desires that afternoon, then perhaps Izzy wouldn't have taken Narcissus's words and advances so strongly. But because of Kai, Izzy had basically been forced into homosexual relations twice in one day, and both times had been quite... extreme.
Those obvious tears in his manager's eyes caused a slow churning in the pit of Kai's stomach. It wasn't really the best feeling he had ever come to experience. Kai swallowed, not sure what to say or do. Was he supposed to ignore those tears, or would it be more polite to comfort Izzy? Then again, did Izzy even want his comfort? But Kai selfishly wanted to do something just to relieve the extreme guilt and self-hatred that he was currently feeling. A gentleman, in his view, would have probably gone around the table and tried to talk to Izzy to calm him down, soothingly stroking his arm or something. But under the current circumstance, Kai was quite sure that any physical touch wasn't the best idea.
In the end, Kai smiled softly and clasped his hands together on the table, looking down at them for a moment. He contemplated his next words and then looked up at Izzy, making eye contact with him. His gaze was profoundly apologetic. "I..." Kai swallowed. "I know that it's quite selfish of me to use this as an opportunity, but I would like to apologize for... for earlier today. I know that that that didn't at all help with today... Actually, that probably is the main reason why... why you're so... beside yourself at the moment." Kai averted his gaze back down to his hands and sighed.
"I want you to know that I'm not usually like that too. Or at least I won't be anymore. I..." Leaning back, Kai ran an exasperated hand through his hair, sighing. "I've been far too loose with my debauchery, I must say. It's about time I learn my lesson." Smiling slightly, Kai's eyes twinkled at Izzy. "Don't worry. I know you're not usually like that. I've heard about you far I received your file."
Deciding to give Izzy some time to contemplate his words, Kai stood up and excused himself for a second, giving no reason. He walked out of the room, but soon returned holding a bottle of Dom. Romane Conti 1997 and two wine glasses. If there was one thing he loved, that would be expensive wine. And if there was something that he couldn't stand at all, that would be a person with glasses crying. Glasses, admittedly, were his weakness; but when that person was crying—and because of him, for that matter—Kai felt worse than most would ever feel in their whole lives.
Sitting himself back down, Kai poured out a glass for Izzy. "Brought us some good wine. Probably should help," he murmured, smiling a little. He decided that this wouldn't be a business dinner. There was no way that either of them could even begin to concentrate enough to make this a removed and professional dinner that talked about charts and graphs. At least, Kai knew that he himself couldn't do that. Leaning back in the chair, Kai took a sip of his own glass, still not touching Izzy in any way whatsoever, or even getting close to it. Kai waited for a reply from Izzy.N a k a i
