Taliah Are there any certain brands or types that you would say work better than others? Thanks for the info, I'm sure he'll appreciate it too once we get him set up. ^_^ I'd buy the freshest straight-black teabags you can find with a very fine mesh- like Stash uses.

I was using teabags and salt rinsing like mad when my teeth were in bad shape the first half of the summer. It kept me from losing my mind. He'll want to avoid the salt rinse idea, though, since it'll cause the sockets at the tooth extraction site to lose their crust, and dry socket is pain x1000.

Thank you, both of you ^^
I can only imagine how awful that would hurt having salt there... neutral Then again, anything concerning teeth tend to hurt horribly anyway. Just thinking about past toothaches make me cringe, to be honest.

They help keep it clean, and stop the pain almost instantly. I couldn't rinse often enough to keep the pain away, though. I was in agony for almost 2 months, and utterly exhausted by the time it was done. After a tooth extraction, though, you don't want anything to disturb the scab over the empty socket - otherwise you get direct contact with the nerves and the bone, and the pain is like lightning. Dry socket is just evil.

sol_oriens *grumbles* Okay, I need to find music for my dance solo in October. Anyone got suggestions? Under 3 minutes, mid-tempo, Tribalish sounding? I think "Avanti" by Corvus Corax could work. Might be a bit fast, but it shouldn't be a problem. If memory serves, its ~4 minutes long, but it's a bit repetative, so 5 minutes with a program like Audacity and you can trim out some of the bits. I'd suggest something else but my "Underground Club Mix" CD's dont really have much in the way of tribal sounding stuff. The only other song that would be close is "Egils Saga" by Faun, but thats a little more on the folk side.

Nuri: Beta FishThere might be something on there, I just don't have any mp3s of the stuff on there EDIT: snakecharmer, for example, would be perfect if shorted, I just can't find a standalone mp3 of it.

Oh dear, our second floor of our house is a mess. My sister is moving out semi-permanently while I'm moving out to residence for university. My sister's stuff has spilled out of her room into mine and there's hardly room to walk around up there. gonk xd

If you are a member of the LDS and you want to witness to me, you have to know at least half as much Hebrew and Greek as I do.

I take it then some of the wonderful members decided to bring the good word of God to you now? *shakes head* I am incredibly glad that I'm no longer a part of that faith.

I don't mind chatting theology with them- it's just if they are going to talk to m about the faith and traditions- have something new to discuss or be able to at least answer my questions without looking like a deer caught in the headlights.

Yaaay, last week at work! Then I go back to the wilds of Laois to learn how to make a fire staff and how to spin it. biggrin And, y'know, practical stuff like setting up bank transfers for college and painting my room and such like.
After that? College starts taking over.

Just thought I'd pop in and inform about my username change. Bacodus has been attached to me for far too long and is too easily tracked by Google, so I've taken some measures to make myself a little more anonymous to certain folks. My second choice overall is also already associated with me as well... BLARG.
And Princess suits me better for who I am today, anyway. Unfortunately, Princess was already taken as a username, so this one is close enough.
If you see me in M&R, it's me.
