Ai winced, narrowing her eyes. She felt, more than heard, a faint buzzing that vibrated on the edges of her mind as she reflexively pushed back against the force threatening to push her to sleep. "Yes, it's... a form of hypnosis." It was a familiar feeling, and had Ai immediately even more on edge, claws coming out and digging into the mud.
When the hypno appeared before them, knowing they were the cause, actually led her to relax slightly. Which was... probably not the best response. "Something feels different this time." Maybe she was just predisposed to be wary of the methods these guardians were using, but they heavy aura they put off felt more dangerous than before. Ai's eyes flashed red along with her gem as the light from Radium's sparks faded from her vision- she wasn't going to give these creepy hypno a chance to attack.
First Ai slammed a psychic burst into the Hypnos' hand, sending it and the charm it was holding off-center. Then came her shadow ball, aimed straight at the guardian's chest with as much force as she could manage. She lowered her head so Vivace had a straight shot at the enemy.

Dune could hardly believe that he'd been in the same place as Daphnes and Mogwai. Just think, what if they'd passed each other by without even realizing it? It made him wonder about all of the other pokemon he'd seen since joining Jun. What sort of friendships could he have with them, if he got to know them? A few days ago he would've said nothing would probably come of it, but after his experiences he started to think maybe there were more cool pokemon he could meet in the future.
Protected as he was in Mogwai's arms, Dune didn't notice the changing terrain until it had dropped out form behind them, leaving them facing some really creepy yellow pokemon with big shocks of white fur collars. Dune didn't even pick up on what was happening before Daphnes had collided with one of them. And Mogwai followed soon after, moving with a powerful speed to protect Daphnes and strike at the new enemy.
"I-i'm- I'm okay! I can h-help!" Dune called out. He'd been prepared this time, and rocks glowing with ethereal energy had already risen from the ground around him and Mogwai, mud sloughing off in waves. Mogwai's paw shifted enough for Dune to see, and he sent the rocks to batter the hypno, simultaneously calling more up to float in a protective circle. "What is that th-thing!?"

Noah perked up as they cleared the tree line and out of the muck, only to come to glorious face to face with… some freak with a pendulum. ”Wha’ that hell mates…,” He muttered, surprised that it didn’t appear to be another ghost. Of course, before much more could be said or done, Allure was jerking into action and attacked one of the new enemies. He didn’t quite have the chance to jump off as intended, instead tumbling off and to the ground.
”Oof!” The Dewott huffed, quickly scrambling to his feet and looking back, noting that the swamp reappeared where the dry land had once been. How in the world? He glanced back to the Hypno that the Spiriake had attacked, stumbling from the assault and narrowed a look. ”Yeh don’ mind some help, do ya sheila?” He yelled out and without missing a beat chucked the shell into the Hypno’s face to keep it off balance. It was easier to act now and ask for forgiveness later if the opposite was intended.

Ulani did not expect that the rocking combo of her and Prim would produce a lurking pokemon and the poor squirrel gave a loud squeak of terror when the Hypno appeared from nowhere, practically looming over the too. "YELLOW DARKRAI! FLOWER!" Why did Darkrai have so many forms?! It was terrifying and inappropriate! Luckily, Prim was ever able to keep her wits (or it seemed that way) and Ulani felt a soothing aroma take over to give her a boost of confidence. Right! Now was not the time to be scared! She said she'd help protect Prim and that was what she was going to do!
And the best way to do that? By letting the sparks fly! And that was exactly what she did, focusing her energy to zap the pesky guardian. "Go away creepy!"

Dice seemed rather delighted to talk about Sebastian. ”Mom-dad gweat! Give Dice and.. and other pokies all the stuff!” He nodded in confirmation to this proclamation. ”Yeh! Noodle meet mom-dad! And and… doggies! And and… fluff and stuff!” Like there were so many other creatures that Cling clearly needed to meet that were associated with ‘mom-dad’ and the tot just couldn’t name them all.
”I dunno!” He replied to the question. He really didn’t either. He was pretty sure he was in his pokeball at the time, but then again there was a chance that Sebastian had let him out and he’d gone and fallen asleep. It was all rather fuzzy. Of course, a far as horrifying squeak caught his attention and the baby noticed that just a few feet off there were a pair of other pokemon being accosted by some vicious stranger danger looking Hypno. ”NOODLE! NIGHMARES!” The Cubone announced, immediately beginning to toddle in the direction of the others, mud, and swamp be damned!
Once he was within range, he gave a loud squeaky roar, not noticing that the Hypno was already dazed from the squirrel’s lightning attacks. ”NO NIGHMARES!” And with all the unnatural power he could muster, he through his bone club right into the back of the Hypno’s legs, following it up with a punch to the back of its leg as well once he was actually in range. He was going for the shins right now. It was only the right thing to do!
