The net. I was looking up A.F.I. and this "If you like A.F.I, you might like..." thing was there. And MCR was on it. And I heard, and I loved and I still love.

I heard of MCR from my best friend. She forced me to listen to "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" I aksed to borrow the cd, instantly loving it. Within the next week I got some of the songs from "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" and my love for them grew.

A couple years ago I didnt have a computer so instead of being online before school I would watch the VH1 music videos, my brother however got to the tv first and started watching threm, on the way outthe door my brother was watching helena, he said that the song was awful but I couldnt keep my eyes away from the tv. I will admit I didnt go all "i love them" from there. Well I liked this girl who was getting the new My Chem cd (The Black Parade) so I was like I want this, so I got it for x-mas with the new evenessance cd, which I had not picked up since. I listened to the cd and fell in love. I got a copy of three cheers (or I had it before I listened to the black parade I dont know, probually before) and I loved them. I saw their concert Feb. 25th, thats when the obsession started.

I first heard them about two years ago now. I actually saw the video for The Ghost of You on I guess it was MTV for the first time shortly after it was released and pretty much instantly fell in love with them.

My boyfriend liked them (now is the band he hates the most... ) so he made me hear some of their songs.. if i'm not wrong, the first one i listened was "The Ghost of you". At the begining i didn't like MCR so much, but now is my favorite band.

my friend kidnapped me from a boring party and gave me their first two cds and made me watch all of the music videos that were out at that time. she also tried to tell me everyone's name during "I'm Not Okay." and i got Frank, Mikey, and Ray confused for about a year.
