and people look at me like I'm insane squarkle pasnips.

But aren't you? wink

Sugar + Tea do not mix in my cup. Nor lemon as it's often side by side with some sort of sweetener. Did the French start the habit of adding lemon to tea?

I think Russia and Italy have a claim to it being their traditional way of drinking tea, though lemon tea exists in India too. I think it's just regarded as the 'continental' way now. I wouldn't mix sweetener in with the lemon though.

Sometimes a wedge of lemon is given with a cup of hot water and a basic tea bag in a restaurant. More often, in the U.S., lemon is found is iced tea.

Far as sweet tea goes here, the further south one travels the sweeter the tea to be found.

Mostly, I drink herbal teas like mint or chamomile or ginger. So, I don't put milk in my tea, and I often drink it straight or with one sugar.

Oh, don't mock green tea. smile It was the first to be discovered and drunk, mostly because it's all about preparation rather than a whole different plant. Furthermore, when you're sick, green tea is marvelous. *is sick and out of green tea, very sad*
