((Oh! ok i think i figure out the direction now!))
Gage shrugged, "He found us back at the dark ocean, but he wasn't sick at that time..." he though about the events that had occurred since their picnic at the beach. "Stryker and I passed through Drive City on our way to face Nagato for the final showdown... I think Impmon followed us, but he lost track of him before we reached the old Battle Field... I suspect he has been in Drive City this whole time."
Impmon's condition remained unchanged despite any of Magna Angemon's efforts.
Gage took a closer look at Impmon's lunch, which was not mostly all over the street, "Looks like he has been eating objects commonly sold in the market..."
"Stolen from the market, actually..." stated a voice coming form somewhere behind them. out of the shadows of a near by ally a small Canine like digimon appeared, yellow skin, but wearing a fur pelt. it looked like a Gabumon, but there was something unusual about his particular Gabumon.

The strange digimon’s face had more defined dog-like features then the average Gabumon. The pelt it was wearing only covered one of the creature’s arms with longer then average claws. The marking on its chest where slightly different, and its tail was bushy rather then lizard like. The digimon snorted at the Human’s rudeness and refused to answer, it merely showed it teeth, and stared.

the pelt wearing animal relaxed and put its fangs away, the digimon was still mostly concealed in the shadows of the ally as if it didn't want to be seen by the general public. "I think you should be more worried about your friend there... he seems to be suffering from the more advanced stages of the plague. I'd pity it if it wasn't his own fault, the glutton... still, it not right to let the little Thief Suffer."

The Gabumon pointed at the Impmon's vomit, "the little demon has been swiping food from the market every day since he arrived here. usually the Gaurdromon would have stopped him, but most of them are either broken down or fearful of Rookie digimon due to their own infection. "

"The whole city was overcome in a matter of days. the plague does not care what level they are. but the effects of the plague make it impossible for high level digimon to do battle with those who are weaker then they are. Which is why the Numemon have full control of the city... anyone willing to stand up to them is overcome with fear. and everyone able to stand up to them is too weak to fight them..."
