I tried to comfort her, but my hesitation I fear drove her right out the door. crying

She patted Ayami on the shoulders, "Aw, hun....I'm sure it wasn't anything against you.....you know how some people get sometimes, just needing some alone time. Maybe she didn't want to bring you down, did you think about that?"

"I'm not sure...the decorating company said they could come by and take care of the decorations that afternoon, since it won't be as big a scale as the theme parties. And Scott has confirmed that he can bartend, and the catering company has already confirmed as well." She grinned at Ayami, "Is there anything else we need to discuss? Dress code or something?  "

In fact maybe all of the MW ladies might dress similarly
to help them stand out amongst the crowds as well...

She grinned at Ayami, "I remember one time, it was Icy, Psy, Leko and myself...we all dressed in the same attire. I think we even had the same hairstyle too. About the only way to tell us apart was by our eyes! rofl " She took a sip of her drink, "So, what attire are you proposing? "

She looked at Ayami and then down at her own outfit and laughed.
"Well, looks like great minds think alike, eh? I'll tell Psy about it next time I see her. I picked this little number up on sale awhile back and haven't had an opportunity to wear it yet. I'm supposed to go out later tonight." She smiled, and a dreamy look crossed her face briefly before she took another sip of her martini.

She sighed, and took a sip of her drink.
"Well, I have to make the most of it...he's going to be gone for training soon. He's taking a new position with the force, and will be gone for some specialized training for awhile."
She turned and smiled at Ayami, "But, at least I know he wants to be "exclusive", so that makes it a bit easier. We talked about it earlier this morning, when I was recuperated from going out with Leko last night. xd "

"Yeah, I did, I needed it to take my ibuprofen! Thank god I didn't drink too much of that stuff last night, or lord only knows what Showcase would have thought when he came by this morning! xd "
