No... no one has passed, Quortek. It is just... *looks back at the door to Psyzapp's office and then whispers to Tes* Psyzapp has just gone through a tragic "break up" of sorts with a man named Dougherty that she was quite fond of. It is so sad crying

I think you must be mistaken, Ry. Psyzapp and Dougherty are rivals. That would almost be like Psyzapp going out with me... er... Tes stare It would never happen.

Nor would Psyzapp be so broken up about it... or anything else for that matter.

well, maybe if she lost her favorite torture device.

Maybe Psyzapp has shown you a different side of herself than she's shown me, but what I would consider "normal" for Psyzapp could be likened to Queen Cristanos *eye twitch*

*shudders at hearing the Queen mentioned*

eek Jabbress is nothing like Queen Cristanos! How could you say such a thing? She took me in and showed such hospitality toward me that no one else of this world has. Why would you even mention her in the same sentence with someone as cold and conniving as the Queen?

You don't know her like I do, Ryzan. For whatever reason, she's soft on you, but I wouldn't consider her a "delicate rose" by any means.

The stem of a rose, maybe.... all those thorns.

Regardless of what your thoughts of jabbress may be, can you not at least feel pity for her situation?

That is a good question, horned one. I do not understand what jabbress could have possibly done for him to say such things.

So you're making this about you now?

Not only is this not about you, Ryzan... but it's also nothing like your relationships, so stop acting like it is. Whatever this thing Psyzapp had going must have been generally new since I've never heard of it, and you don't develop a feeling as deep as "love" in just a few days.

*looks into his glass and sighs, quickly downing the rest. He then grabs the bottle and goes to pour another, but upon thinking more on Tes' last statement, he decides instead to replace the cork and set the bottle to the side*

Perhaps you are right to a degree.... but have you not considered that maybe rivven are capable of such a feat? Afterall, their lifespans are but a fraction of ours; they do not have much time to "fall in love", as they say.
