Kerrang! magazine ran a feature on them, the one where they're all dressed up in school uniform (<333)
I usually check out bands I've read about and that's where the obsession started! blaugh

I first heard the saw the song Helena when it first came out but i didnt pay much attention to it, like a year later i transfered from school and my best friend told me about the black parade and i had heard the song so i was like "i love that song copy the CD for me!!!". and so he copied it and now i totally love them and Frankie!! heart heart

One of my friends said they liked the band, so i decided to check them out. I couldn't stop listening to the four songs i had.. then i bought the black parade cd the day it came out, and just liked them ever since!

ok my story is a long time ago i was watching mtv (don't do very often anymore) and i rememeber seeing the video for helena and i loved it but i was up intell now that i really got into it .......i personally like there older stuff better (more screaming) before i have kinda a prep but now i'm the oposite (i'm emo/goth) so i've really goten into there music more but ever since the begining i've always loved my chemical romance xd

How I have heard them? Heheheh. It's not much, but now I think of this band as the best in the world. And where I live I'm like, the biggest fanatic of MCRs music. I found out about them when I watched the ending of 'The Ghost of you' video. I really didn't know who they were yet. Then when I was at school, I found this really good AMV of 'Helena'. Then, thats where I went crazy. I searched everywhere- EVERYWHERE I TELL YOU! For there CD. After a month I bought Three cheers for sweet revenge. And so forth I listened to that CD sooooooo much. And I've been going to there site [which is awsome] and I've been waiting for the next CD. Now my patience has wore off. I'm screaming over here if that I WILL GET THE BLACK PARADE CD! I WILL!

while i was in mexico i was in my hotel room waiting for my family to finish thier breakfast so we could go to the beach so turned on the tv and watched people on MTV speak in spanish. i saw a band with a aweome name, called my chemical romance sing a song helena. i loved the song so when i came back to the US i looked up the band and fell in love! heart heart heart

I first heard of MCR back in 2003 when I was visiting friends in New Jersey. My best mate Michael (at that time) told me that they were new and local, and that they really had the stuff that could blow my socks off the insisted that I go to a show with him. When I first heard their playing, I thought "Hey, they're just like everyone else, right?" until I saw their energy...Then I was blown away.

True story.

I first heard of MCR when I was watching Best Week Ever on Vh1 in 2005 and they were playing the music video for Helena while the credits were rolling.

I immediately hopped on to Limewire and downloaded Helena. I was hooked. It became the most played song on my iTunes. blaugh

I was going through the random music vids on Yahoo's LAUNCHcast player and MCR's Helena came up and I was hooked! From Gerard's piercing glare to the music video's thematic and mythical appeal, I loved it all!!
