There have been a few of these theme parties that I did not dress for, as I was not quite "in the loop", as they say. I also could not think of appropriate outfits sweatdrop M'ranndii often did not dress for them either out of laziness on his part, rilu'oh he began to during the anniversary month in which there was a theme party every week that month. Of course... he was not quite himself during that month either sweatdrop
*takes a drink of his latte* I am certain the outfit that I did manage to put together for this party will suffice. 3nodding It is not really so vital for attendees to "dress the part", as they say... it is just a fun extra for them to do if they so wish. I have found it to be a convenient excuse to go shopping at times whee

"Hmmm...I hadn't thought of it that way before...I think I should take a look and see if I have anything to wear myself. I'm rather unused to social gatherings you see but I'm sure that I'll enjoy it in my own way...I'm sure your costume will look rather dashing alongside your sweetheart though so I suppose you shouldn't worry about that then" she replied before taking a few rather large mouthfuls of her drink that gave her the desired 'buzz' she was after

Social gatherings I am ves accustomed to. I was required to attend quite a few in my years. It is always mzilt nicer when you are attending on your own volition and are surrounded by those with whom you have already been acquainted with to some degree. Being forced to attend one with complete strangers can be rather.... uncomfortable.

Sakura gave a nod as she thought about how such an event would be rather uncomfortable should one be forced to attend it with total strangers. "I'm glad that I've managed to acquaint myself with a few of the others in town here then...I'd not enjoy it much at all if I didn't know anyone here" she replied

Xas xas. It makes it mzilt easier to approach others and socialize if you know something about them already. Although, even if you did not know the others there, it could potentially be a way to meet new people. That can sometimes require a bit of an outgoing side, though... which not everyone has. Admittedly, while I am supposed to be a bit outgoing due to my class, there are times when I simply keep to myself and not talk to others unless I am approached redface Sometimes it is because I do not want to seem rude and interrupt them if they are already engaged in conversation with someone else. Other times... I am just at a loss of what to say and who to speak with sweatdrop

Sakura nodded in understanding "I'm much that way myself although I believe it's due to my...unique upbringing that I find social interactions to be a little overwhelming at times. I'm sure we'll both have fun though...I'm kind of looking forward to it now" she said with a soft smile
(( heart this Drambui heart has quite the kick though sweatdrop ))

I am glad you are looking forward to it. It is always nice to have many in attendance, though at times it can also be a bit overwhelming when there are so many others, even if it is something you have mzilt experience with.
If you do not mind my asking, what is it about your upbringing that was "unique", as you put it?

Sakura thought for a few moments about how best to explain without giving away too much information "well...let's just say it was rather...isolated and militarised" she explained. "Perhaps one day I'll let you in on the whole story" she said with a soft smile and taking another mouthful of her drink

Gi ussta.... that sounds mzilst unpleasant. I understand if you do not wish to go into the details. I was merely curious. My own upbringing was rather normal... or at least I viewed it as such. "Normal" is quite a subjective term.

Sakura just waved a hand to dismiss it "It's quite alright Ryzan...I'm sure the rest of the town will learn of my history one day...and I'm not really giving away too many of the details so it's alright 3nodding " she replied with a soft smile trying to reassure him. "I'm happy to talk about things but it's just not easy or much information that I'll be giving out though wink " she added with a giggle before taking another sip of her drink

I understand. When I first arrived, there was a bit of a limit on what I could talk about regarding my past. Some of it was due to my uncertainty of how others would respond because I did not know them well enough and had some distrust and even a level of contempt for the people here. Rilu'oh, even as that subsided, there were a few things that m'ranndii wished for me not to share, such as our marriage. sweatdrop

Sakura nodded "I see....well I hope that in time I'll be able to feel close enough to you all to tell you about it" she said with a smile. "Well I had best get going and see what I can find in my boxes to wear for this event. It was nice talking to you again Ryzan, say hello to Tes for me too" she said with a soft smile as she stood up and taking her bottle with her left towards home again

Amy came into the bar carrying a solid, non-see-through tub. It contained all the material Katana had requested. It had taken Amy only about 10 minutes to make everything. She had imagined the nicest silk fabric she could think of and had transfigured the tapestries moments later.
Not seeing anyone in the bar, Amy walked into Psyzapp's office and set the tub on her desk. Right away, though, she noticed how obvious the tub looked sitting on her desk. So, she looked around and then picked up the tub again. She set it over by the couch, against the wall. Then, she turned and left the bar, headed to Aqua Springs.
