*waves palm over marks, restoring the wall to its original state before being blasted by electricity*

*yawning, she stretches long, arms over her head and toes reaching for the other end of the couch, sore but feeling restful since she allowed herself to sleep in. Before she could open her eyes fully, Lo was nudging her leg with her muzzle, wanting to go out. Petting the overgrown cat tenderly on the head, she stands and stretches her back muscles, hearing them pop. Groaning, she makes a sound decision to absolutely stop sleeping on the sofa when she has a perfectly custom made bed to sleep on. Searching for her slippers, she slips them and grabs her heavy coat by the back entrance, scanning and opening the door as Lo glided out past her. Shivering in the cold air coming through the door, she turns to head for Lo's room and grab the essentials, coming back and leaning in the doorframe.

After cleaning up, wrestling with Lo, fixing brunch, showering and dressing, she starts picking up her livingroom. She empties the shredder she'd overstuffed while ridding herself of documents she'd transferred to encrypted files on her personal notebook, tied off trashbags of useless paperwork to be tossed, placed a new bag down and stacked the pile she had left, that had shortened significantly over the last few days. Soon she'd be done with sorting, filing and transferring, which will give her the time she needs to update systems and have some new installations put in play. Just as she was about to sit, her notebook alerted her to a new instant message on her private IM. It was from Flame*

Knightmaer:Icy? You on? neutral
Sovereign:Yea. What's up?
Knightmaer:Got a job for you. Not too busy are you?
Sovereign:No, I've got the majority of my backwork caught up. What's the job?
Knightmaer:Got a woman who was to be brought in almost a month ago. Put Horne on the job, and apparently she'd been alluding him at every turn. rolleyes So I'm thinking maybe womens intuition and all?
Sovereign:Pft, figures. Why you would send Horne of all people after a woman is beyond me. stare Knowing him he was either too busy drooling over her if she was hot or reluctant to catch her if she wasn't. stressed
Knightmaer:God, spare me please. rolleyes Can you do the job or not? stare
Sovereign:I told you I would! scream Email me the packet so I can work up a profile. Any obstacles that Horne ran into, people she's been hiding out with, etc. Is she C/S/F or a HHB?
Knightmaer:HHB. So clean up. Thoroughly.
Sovereign:Damn. Well since this is Hornes baby, don't take him off it. He's going to help with housekeeping. Tell him to come pick me up. I'll be waiting in the bar.
Knightmaer:Oh, he'll love that. Packet's on the way and he'll be there within the hour. Be safe.
Sovereign:Always.

*closing their conversation, she only has to wait a couple seconds before her email dings with an encrypted attachment. Quickly working, she puts together what's needed and gets up, padding to her room. Walking in her closet, she turns right and pushes a rack of clothing to the far left, feeling along the paneling of the wall behind it. Finding the slight indentation, she pops open her secret door, walking into her weapons room. Arming herself lightly, she packs a duffel with the rest of what she'll need, grabbing a few extras in case. Closing her hidden room up, she leaves out her closet and walks back out into the living room, looking at Lo. She had no idea how long this was going to take and she needed to do something with the leopard and quickly. Suddenly it dawns on her that Flame isn't out on any missions, and he'd yet to spend any real time with Lo since she'd had her. Placing her bags on the floor, she heads into Lo's room and packs her up a couple bags for her stay with Flame

He probably didn't even think about Lo when he asked her to doo this job, so he shouldn't have a problem with keeping her until it's over. Makingsure she had everything, she loads the bags up, wrapping straps all over and hisses a low command at Lo. The leopard follows her as she walks out the front door, locking up securely and walking through the corridor. Struggling through the security measures and up the stairs, she comes through the passageway as Lo slips past her into the bar. As soon as she makes it out of the office, she unloads everything on the nearest table and lets out a long exhalation, walking behind the bar for something hot and caffeinated. Lo has by then trotted over to leko, nudging her leg. Smiling, she nod to Leko but pauses, the faint air of smoke hitting her nose. She then looks closer at the bar floor and sees it's a bit wet. Arching a brow, she turns to Leko*

Well hello my dear. You wouldn't happen to know about the smell of smoke and dampness of the bar, would you?

*wonders if she wants to know, but decides against it. Shaking her head, she turns back to the espresso machine and makes an extra grande mochaccino, adding a double shot of everything to it and placing the contents into a to-go cup. Coming from behind the counter, she leans against it and sips her brew, smiling at Lo closes her eyes to the attention Leko shows her*

Attention hog. wink Well, outside of today, how has my lovely been? I hate our visits are so short and far in between. sad Have you and Ayami been faring well?

*lifts a brow at the mentioning of fertility shrines. It finally hits her that Psy may indeed become Suzy Homemaker and renounce her status as a mafia princess and the life of MW. Not that she could blame her, but the thought never occured to her until just then. Who would want to bring children into such a life? Sipping her latte, she opens her mouth to speak her thoughts when one of the double doors swings open and Horne comes striding in.

He gives her one of his signature c**k-sure grins and was about to say something smart assed when Lo pounced on him, knocking him to the floor. Rolling her eyes at him, she wonders for the nth time what in hell she saw in him. Standing up, he playfully mugged Lo's muzzle and pushed her off him, scratching behind her ears and talking sweetly to her. Pointing to the table with her things on it, she turns to Leko*

Well love, I've got some business to attend to. I'd planned on leaving a note thinking no one would be around at this time, but if it's all the same I'll relay through you. I shouldn't be gone long and Flame knows where I'll be at, if anyone needs to know. You take care and I'll see you sometime soon I hope.

*smiles and gets up to hug Leko tight, then heads to where Horne was grabbing her things and picked up the rest. Calling to Lo, the three of them left out of the bar, loading up Hornes car and heading for Flames first*
