I found the aluminum comment hard to believe so I actually checked my supplies.. both of them say really large on the front "Aluminum-free". I would have never even noticed. I don't use white sugar because it has bone char.

((I also don't use white sugar - I usually get pure unprocessed cane sugar (ie. not refined).
It is freaky what is in some food and food supplies!
the baking soda/powder are just too chemical for my tastes.))

not really into battering chicken, as it usually calls for egg to bind the flour and I have always tried to be at least kosher for some reason.

but dredging it in spiced flour before cooking works for most recipes.
