Thistle still waited to see if Mitri would allow her up on his lap. She didn't want to hurt him. "Lap okay?"

Thistle squeaked happily and carefully jumped up onto the hammock. Then, she crawled onto MItri's lap, careful not to dig in with her hooves. She settled into his lap and nuzzled against his chest. She did give one final smug look to Hiro, though.

*yawns, not really caring now that he's comfortable again*

*pets each animal in turn, then goes back to his book*

*dreams that Leko is waiting on him hand and foot, even going so far as dressing and undressing him. Though he's not sure what to think of the nightgown, life seems pretty good cool , until she suddenly leaves him there... alone. Everything is just so eerily quiet, making him feel somehow vulnerable. sweatdrop He's been in Leko's quarters by himself plenty and knows there's nothing to worry about, yet... where he is doesn't exactly look like her quarters. On top of that, he can occasionally feel something whoosh by him, but by the time he looks, it's gone.*

This is ridiculous stressed There's nothing there.

*He starts to make his way to the nearby bed when he feels something tugging at the bottom of the gown he has been dressed in, sending a chill down his spine*

Idiot... it's probably just caught on something stare

*Reaching down without looking back, he grabs onto the gown and pulls on it to get it loose. However, instead of coming loose, it's tugged even more strongly than before. His eyes widen and he slowly turns his head*

Vel'bol l'vith!!? scream gonk

*There... standing behind him with his gown in her mouth was a giant Kakkosen. He tries not to panic. After all, Kakkosen likes him, right? She wouldn't do anything to harm him..... right? gonk It's hard to convince himself that she's just being friendly when she's gnawing on his clothes and pulling him closer to those chomping teeth in the process, though* gonk

*Half his gown gets eaten off, and though Kakkosen hadn't taken any bites out of him in the process, her teeth were a bit too close for comfort, at times grazing across his skin. He tries to push her off, but no matter how hard he tries, his arms just won't move.*

Oh come on! You've fought dragons and giant spiders and you're going to freeze in fear over a green bunny!? scream This isn't right...

*Technically it was Tes who did those things, but that's not the point ninja As panicked as he was, it didn't seem strong enough to be paralyzing, and yet he was completely unable to defend himself. Kakkosen then pulls away for a brief, foreboding moment... sniffing him from a distance. Now would be a good opportunity to make a run for it, but he still can't move. The grunny then opens her mouth and moves in closer, going right for his head. The strong feeling of impending doom sets something off in the far reaches of Draa's mind and his eyes flash, his thoughts going blank and his lips starting to curl into a wicked grin. For a second, it seems as though he's regaining control of his body, but before he can act, Leko returns and banishes Kakkosen away.

Just like that, complete relief washes over him and he flops down onto the floor. As he relishes Leko's touch while she checks him for injuries, he doesn't once give a second thought as to what he might have done had she not shown up nor what was going on within him when he thought Kakkosen was going to bite his head off. It's as if that short moment in time is completely absent from his memory....*

*Kits lifted the lid of the pot on her stove and stirred it's contents. She'd made a batch of marinara sauce and it had been simmering all day. Taking a deep breath, she smiled* Just about ready. *replaces the lid and picks up her phone to look at the time and finds a text from Mirti. He'd be staying at Karrie's house for the night, since they both had to be at the Jade Dragon early the next morning. She starts to put her phone down, then decides to send a text to Rod*

*grins and knocks on the door, knowing didn't respond to Kits message*

*looks up when she hears someone knocking. She was just about to take the pasta off the stove and drain it* Gwee, would you get the door? It's unlocked.

Yes. *flies to the door, looks through the window, sees that it's Rod, and hangs on the doorknob to open it* Come in.

*is about to smile and hug Kits while presenting the flowers when sees its one of the pets instead* H-...Oh...Hi Gwee. Thank you. *smiles at the green dragon*
