Oh so they were called limes? The name did sound like it fit the sour fruit some. Radium nodded her head some to Piper's words, looking to Dotty with a flurry of chuckles. "I think you're thinking of a different kind of pie." Radium chuckled. "Pie is kinda like cake, but it's made with crust and filled with fruit sometimes nuts." The mouse explained. She'd seen a few examples of pie in her days, but never once had she been given a chance to eat some... humans were real stingy when it came to some food, sure they tossed out unfinished slices every so often.... but the Rattata and Yungoos around the city were vicious and overly protective of their trashcan hunting grounds
As they walked the conversation took a twist, from talking about fur colour to talk of being petted. Radium had mentioned being chased by little humans wanting to pet her to which Ai jokingly suggested she give them a little shock. She grinned back giving a nod. "I'll do that next time then." She replied letting a few sparks crackle at her cheeks. It was then Piper mentioned being to big to be picked up. Radium would of thought her lucky... but even if she couldn't be picked up that meant she just had more space to be be petted. Radium was also curious as to where everyone liked to be petted... which, well Radium had to say she liked her cheeks the most, though that was a hazardous place to pet.
However, the conversation eventually took a twist, as Piper went on to explain a habit she'd had.. well, has. Though she had to agree with Dotty. "Yea, Piper you haven't touched your fur much at all since we got here." The mouse smiled. "You should treat yourself when this is all over!" She voiced, waiving her stick in the air a bit as if it were a light stick humans used at concerts or other noisey events.

☆ ☆【Piper gave a small amused smile as Dotty looked curiously at her and asked what a lime was. She supposed she couldn’t blame her, the Duosion had mentioned being isolated in a lab for a good portion of her life. It was understandable that she might not be too familiar with a lot of things… ”Um… it’s a… uhhh, small r-round fruit, it’s shaped k-kinda like this,” the Noivern tried her best to explain, gesturing with her wing-claws to outline a general oval-like shape, ”Th-They have bumpy green s-skin on the outside, and when you c-cut them open and e-eat the s-stuff inside it tastes s-sour. L-Lemons are p-pretty much the s-same except they’re y-yellow and a b-bit smoother.” She hoped that explanation would be enough to give Dotty more of an idea, it would really be much easier to show her than to simply tell her but that was a bit difficult to do when she didn’t have any limes on hand. When the Noivern went on to explain how Irene would use the limes she bought to make pie, that just seemed to confuse Dotty even more as the Duosion said that pie wasn’t something to eat, it was something one computed. ”Uh… I m-mean, I guess it c-could be both? I’m n-not really good with th-the numbers stuff… Chrysa w-would know m-more about that th-than me, she was r-really good with s-stuff like that,” Piper said, shaking her head a bit. Radium jumped in as well to help explain, telling Dotty was pie was kind of like cake, but it was made with crust and filled with fruit and occasionally nuts. ”Y-Yeah! It’s a s-sweet thing that h-humans make, though the l-lime pie Irene made had m-more of a smooth, c-creamy filling to it,” she added with a small smile, ”M-Maybe you should try one s-sometime, Dotty, they’re r-really good if you l-like fruit and s-sweet things.”
As the conversation turned and shifted, Piper’s ears flicked as Vivace giggled in amusement at her mention of being too large to really be picked up by humans. She tilted her head slightly as the Togepi cut off her laughter with what sounded like a snorting cough, saying that she bet there was a Pokemon out there who was large enough to pick her up. ”Aha, I s-suppose you’d b-be right there, V-Vivie,” the Noivern agreed with a soft laugh, ”As b-big as I am I’m d-definitely far f-from the largest P-Pokemon in the world.” As the Togepi went on to ask Ai if she had any spots in particular that she liked being pet as the Espeon mentioned that she enjoyed being pet by her trainer, the Noivern couldn’t help considering the question as well. She admittedly did enjoy being rubbed behind her ears, and there was a spot on her neck where the scales joined with the white fur of her mane that felt really good when it was scratched. As inclined as she was to answer, Vivace had clearly meant the question for Ai and it might be rude to just butt in.
When Piper went to talk a little more about her odd fur plucking habit at length, a kind of solemn air settled over the group. ”Y-Yeah… it did h-hurt, quite a b-bit actually… But it was h-hard to really s-stop once I s-started doing it m-more and more often even if it was p-pretty painful,” she answered quietly to Vivace’s question, unable to help but blush as she noticed both the Togepi and Dotty inspecting her. It had… admittedly been quite a while since she’d last really plucked at her fur, so she doubted there would really be any noticeable bald spots that stood out… She nodded at Vivace’s optimistic remark that she was at least improving, her blush deepening as Dotty and even Radium chipped in as they mentioned not noticing her do it ever since they got here and that she should feel proud. ”Oh g-goodnesss… Well, m-most of it is th-thanks to you guys, r-really,” she said with a warm smile, feeling her spirits lifting with the supportive comments, ”If I-I was d-doing this all by m-myself, I’d d-definitely be far m-more stressed than I am now… I’m r-really, really glad to h-have met you all… And h-hopefully if we d-do meet again when all of th-this is over, it’ll b-be under m-much better circumstances.” She was grateful to have met up with nice Pokemon like these guys, and hopefully they might be able to meet up again at some point in the real world once they got out of here. Even though they had met not too long ago and had more or less banded together for the sake of protection and survival, Piper had grown to genuinely think of these Pokemon as really good friends. She’d definitely remember their names and faces, so that she’d know who to look for if they ever saw each other again.
As they kept going, the Noivern blinked as she felt a sudden strange shift in the area around them. ”U-Um… is it just m-me? Or is the m-mud actually g-getting a little… d-deeper here?” she asked, noticing how the path was steadily growing less and less solid the further they went, "Are you a-alright, Ray?" The mud was easily coming up past the large dragon's ankles now, far from deep enough to really bury most of them but enough to pose a bit more of a concern to their smaller teammates. Did this mean they were getting closer to actually reaching where the next guardian might be? Piper froze as a sudden sound caught her ears, the fur on her neck standing on end and her pupils contracting into slits as she gazed intently ahead of them. It sounded like… singing? Or chanting of some sort… a low, constant, throaty thrumming noise that cut through the otherwise complete silence of the swamp… ”There’s s-something here… I can h-hear chanting of s-some kind,” she spoke up, passing on the warning to the other members as she furtively glanced about, ”I c-can’t really pinpoint the s-source… B-But we should b-be careful… I th-think we’re g-getting close to the g-guardian now…” She thought she saw movement somewhere between the trees, shadowy figures flitting to and fro between the tightly interwoven thicket so quickly that she wasn’t sure if they were actually there or her eyes were playing tricks on her. Either way, she had a bad feeling about this… they should definitely be on guard for whatever might jump out at them next.】☆ ☆

A new place… Mystery Dungeon Mogwai spies a new friend! Daphnes, Chickpea, Dune
☆ ☆【Mogwai smiled as Chickpea seemed impressed when he recounted how he had proved himself worthy of becoming a knight, feeling quite confident and proud that he was able to earn such a title. Even in spite of his initial reluctance to fight, the Bewear was steadily growing more and more confident in his abilities. Even the act of engaging in combat seemed to be growing easier as they progressed onwards and fought against all these bad guys, though whether or not that was a good thing… In a way, Mogwai wanted to believe it was indeed a good thing. If he could become a more capable fighter, then that meant it’d be easier for him to protect Aiden if his new trainer was to ever be put in serious danger. The bear swelled with pride as Chickpea insisted that he would make an awesome shield, quite glad that the Chikorita seemed to see him as a pretty capable protector. After all, what kind of shield would he be if he couldn’t even do his job well?
Of course, they couldn’t just spend the whole time talking about knights, and Mogwai was glad for the shift in conversation as Chickpea asked him and Daphnes what their favorite food was. It was an easy enough question for the Bewear to answer as he practically blurted out that his favorite was ‘masadas’, more specifically the sweet ones that were filled with fruit. Dune seemed curious, asking what exactly ‘masadas’ were. That… might be a bit hard to explain, but Mogwai sure was going to try his damnedest! ”Uuuuuhhhh…. Maaaa-saaaadaaaaas liiiiike… roooooouuuund breeeeeaaaaad, huuuuumaaaaaans maaaaaake,” the bear answered, pausing for a moment every now and then to collect his thoughts and try to form them into a coherent sentence, ”Huuuuumaaaaaans puuuuut fruuuuiiiiit iiiin rooooouuuund breeeeaaaaad, maaaake maaaaa-saaaaadaaaaas.” He hoped that explanation would be enough to really suffice, it was a bit difficult for him to really describe things like that with his limited vocabulary and his limited understanding of what exactly malasadas were. His attention went over towards Chickpea as the little grass dinosaur fired a bunch more questions, asking what kind of fruit ‘masadas’ had in them and how big they were. ”Hmmmmm… Maaaaaanyyyyy kiiiiinds fruuuuuiiiit~” Mogwai answered after a bit of deliberation, smiling brightly with a nod of affirmation, ”Mooooogwaaaaiiii looooove booooo-buuuuurry maaaaaa-saaaadaaaas beeeeest~” At the question of how big they were… the Bewear hummed as he tapped his free paw against his muzzle in thought. Alolan malasadas could be incredibly large, so big they could almost be a meal in and of themselves! Of course, there were much smaller ones, but they could make them really big to better suit much larger appetites. ”Mmmmmm… biiiiig, maaaaa-saaaaaadaaaaas huuuuuuge!” he answered, motioning with his free paw to draw out a large circle in the air so that he wasn’t disturbing Dune too much, ”Mooooogwaaaaaaiiii fiiiiit whoooooole oooooone eeeeeaaaasyyyy~”
He glanced over to Daphnes as the Shelgon chipped in, saying that he really liked meat, and spicy food as well. Spicy food wasn’t exactly Mogwai’s favorite, all that heat really burned his mouth and made it hard to really enjoy the food! Still, he understood that some people and Pokemon as well really liked spicy food… though he wondered what it was about it that they enjoyed so much. ”Meeeeeeaaaaaat goooooood~ Moooooogwaaaaiiii liiiiike fruuuuuiiiit mooooore, buuuuut meeeeaaaat gooood toooo,” the Bewear spoke with a smile and a nod to his Dragon-type companion, ”Maaaaaa-saaaaaadaaaaas beeeeee spiiiiicyyyyy toooooo, maaaaanyyyyy kiiiiinds maaaaaa-saaaaaadaaaas!” He had tried quite a few different kinds of malasadas during his time living with his old master in Alola, most of which tasted alright, though the sweet ones were hard to really top for him.
Moving on to Chickpea’s second question of what his favorite thing to do was, it took Mogwai a moment to think of an answer before saying that he loved playing with his friends and hugging them too. The Bewear grinned as Chickpea said that he loved playing with his friends too, mentioning that he and Dune had gone to some kind of strange human thing and that it was a lot of fun. They got to do all kinds of stuff like eat cake, explore fun houses, and slide down slides! ”Oooooh~ Muuuuuch fuuuuuun!” Mogwai growled in delight, his bushy tail wagging excitedly, ”Mooooogwaaaaaiiii waaaaannaaaa tryyyyy huuuuumaaaaan thiiiiing tooooo!” His ears flicked as Daphnes mentioned being at something like what Chickpea and Dune had got to as well, but even though he didn’t go down a slide he did explore around an easy maze made from corn stalks. ”Cooooorn maaaaaze soooooouuuund fuuuuuun tooooo~” the Bewear chipped in, all of that sounded like so much fun he was almost sad that he had missed out on going to something like that. Maybe he could ask Aiden to take him to one of these human things sometime! Mogwai’s excitement grew as Chickpea said that he loved hugs too, saying that they were really nice and made you feel warm. ”Chiiiiickpeeeeeaaaa waaaaaant huuuuugs?” the Bewear inquired curiously, tilting his head at the Chikorita. As tempting as it might be, now might not be the best time to possibly hug his new hug-loving Chikorita friend since he was still carrying Dune… ”Maaaaaayyyyybeeeee laaaaateeeeer? Moooooogwaaaaaiii caaaaaan waaaaaiiiit,” he suggested, they should probably focus a bit more on finding their way out of this swampy place before anything else. Regardless, Mogwai would make sure Chickpea got his hug before they got out of this place. Even though he hoped he might see the Chikorita and his friend again even after they escaped this world, it would certainly be better soon than possibly never, right?】☆ ☆

How did I come here? Mystery Dungeon Another lost soul? Xiao Lan, Beltigre, Shade, and Daiki
☆ ☆【The Braixen grinned as Xiao Lan seemed excited at the idea of being best friends, agreeing happily and saying they would be the bestest of friends. ”Absolutely, the bestest of best friends~” she said with a light laugh and a warm smile. To help dispel the ominous silence that filled the atmosphere around them, Fianna was more than glad to engage with Shade as the Chengshen offered a bit of conversation to help relieve the tension. It seemed a bit strange for the silvery cat Pokemon to be so talkative, considering that it seemed more of a listener and quiet observer from what she had seen earlier. Still, she was more than grateful for the bit of distraction to help take the edge off of her nerves, and shared some details of her past life in Laverre City. Shade seemed interested when she mentioned her family’s interest in spirituality, inquiring a bit further with clear curiosity in their tone.
”Mhm, well, more so my mom and her trainer did,” Fianna answered with a hum and a nod of confirmation, ”My mom especially did a lot of research on spirits, the occult, all kinds of stuff like that. She was interested in being a spirit medium, she found the idea of being able to speak with the ghosts of those who had existed in the world long before us quite fascinating.” She tapped a claw against her lips in thought, her fingers shifting a little as she absently adjusted her grip on her flaming branch-wand. ”I guess part of why she was into that was because her trainer was into it too, she was the daughter of a former Channeler who had immigrated to Kalos from Lavender Town over in Kanto,” she explained further, recalling some of the stories the old woman had shared with them about the Pokemon Tower. It seemed like a very… interesting place, in the same kind of eerie fashion as visiting a haunted house was.
A soft chuckle escaped her as Xiao Lan chose to jump back into the conversation at her mention of trying to climb the big tree in the middle of Laverre, asking how far she got and babbling a little as she asked what expected meant. ”Heh, well, to be honest I didn’t get all that far, there weren’t many low branches for me to really climb on to get much higher than I did,” Fianna admitted with a grin. She barked out a laugh as Shade asked if she had fallen, not really minding the slightly blunt sounding question, her grin brightening as Xiao Lan insisted that she would’ve died if she’d fallen. ”Well, I suppose that would be about right~ Though it was more because my mother caught me and brought me back down,” she explained lightly, ”She was… quite upset with me for trying to use an ancient historical relic as a playground~” Back then, she hadn’t quite appreciated the value of the tree and what it meant to the city, but over time she gradually grew to understand that it was an important part of Laverre’s history. Thinking back on it now, she admittedly did feel bad for using it for a bit of an inappropriate purpose. She hadn’t known better back then, she had only been a young, curious pup, a pup who had been curious to see if she could reach the sky by climbing up the extremely tall tree, of course.
She was more than happy to accept Xiao Lan’s offer, a bit of cheerful song would certainly help to lift their spirits and break the silence. The Braixen smiled as the Noibat hummed an uplifting tune, simple but quite effective as the fox timed her steps along with the music and swayed her head from side to side. However, her momentary relief was broken when she noticed how tense and anxious Daiki seemed, and without hesitation moved in closer to him to help. She noticed the way he stiffened when she brushed up against him and took hold of his hand, pausing momentarily in preparation to step back in case he might panic and lash out. Thankfully no such thing happened, to her relief, and she instructed him to take deep breaths to help calm himself in a soft, gentle tone, gently running a finger across the back of the hand she held to keep him grounded. He took her advice without complaint, breathing in deeply and exhaling after about ten seconds. Already she could feel his muscles starting to relax a little, and though the deep breathing exercises didn’t entirely banish his worry at least he was feeling a bit calmer now. ”You’re very much welcome,” she said softly with a smile as he thanked her, allowing her hold on his hand to gradually slacken as she rubbed it between her fingers a moment more before withdrawing her hand entirely.
”Hm?” she murmured in questioning, ears perking forward as she noticed Shade in particular looking quite tense, ”What’s up?” Xiao Lan seemed equally concerned, remarking on how Shade didn’t seem so fluffy and asking if everything was okay. Narrowing her eyes in suspicion, Fianna’s ears swiveled forward as she thought she picked up on… what sounded like chanting coming from the thicket around them. A low, deep, humming noise that only seemed to grow louder and louder the further they went… She thought she could see flickers of movement between the trees, brief glimpses of shadowy figures that blinked into existence one moment only to vanish the next. ”Singing… Guess there’s our cue then,” she spoke, confirming to the others that she too could sense something wrong about this place, ”Keep your eyes peeled and stay on guard… I think they’re here…” Her eyes drifted over towards Xiao Lan, giving her a brief look of warning to not rush ahead and to be careful. After what happened back in the crystal cave with the Sableye, Fianna wouldn’t want to risk the little Noibat possibly getting hurt for real this time if these guardians proved to be far more dangerous than the others.】☆ ☆

Ai wondered, idly, if that was actually a personal question. "Mm, head, chin, back." She tilted her head back and forth. "Technique matters more." She went ******** bonkers for scratchies behind her ear, and Arezu was really good at it.
Speaking of self-care, Radium suggestion for Piper seemed like a good one. If only they could all go back to the real world together, and spend some times somewhere nice, like a hot springs. "I'm glad we all met as well. I hope we can meet again." But Ai knew how low the chances of that were. She kept an outwardly cheerful appearance, but she knew the odds. After this, they'd... No. Everyone belonged to trainers, right? That should make them easier to find. Ai could try hacking into a pokemon center's PC or something, search on the net, whatever it took.
As the mud deepened, the psychic at Ai's feet began causing small ripples. She kept an eye on Radium, thinking of offering a hand if the pichu wanted it. Before she could make a decision though, she really felt it. A vibration in the air, making her fur stand just a bit on end. "I...feel it too." She lowered her chin, eyes staring intently into the surrounding darkness.

Dune's mouth fell open at the description of masadas. "Oohhh th-that sounds reallygood." It was hard not to drool. Warm, fluffy, round bread, with hard bits of yummy sweet fruit inside??? Oooh, Dune wished he wasn't in a dream world so he could eat it now.
"Th-the weird human thing w-was where Chick-pea and I m-met!" Wow, it already felt like so long ago, Dune could hardly believe how much had happened since then. It already felt like he'd known Chickpea for so long.

Noah smirked and gave another chuckle, followed by a thumbs up at the remark that they could talk ‘nut wisdom’ any time. It was a nice change of pace from the down and muck of the place to think of something even slightly more pleasant.
Then Allure spoke up on their current situation, and he narrowed his gaze to try and look ahead. He glanced at Argo too as he seemed to confirm there was something up ahead and immediately the Dewott was going for his shell to get ready for battle. Great, awesome. What everyone needed now. Another fight. What a glorious never-ending dream mess this was. That pink they had better have a reward for them for all this trouble.

Ulani was still down in the dumps as their hopes were semi-dampened by the sudden river of muck that blocked them from the next level, snapping from her thoughts with a jump only when Prim tapped her on the shoulder. "Huh?" The Emolga blinked and watched the flower pokemon as she gestured to her, frowning some in confusion.
She had to put on her thinking cap to understand (clearly she needed to spend some more time with Sullivan with some hand gesture practices to get quicker at her interpretations) before finally brightening up as she seemed to understand what it was Prim was communicating. "Oh okay! I see flower! Yeah!" She bopped her head up and down in excitement. "We can… we can use the tree as a bridge! If we knock it over right?" Of course you know, if Ulani had really been thinking she could’ve possibly just flown over the muck, but she wasn’t and she certainly wasn’t going to leave the pretty flower here either way!
"Okay! I can try!" She chirped excitedly, gently setting her collection of things down on a dry patch of ground so that she could focus better. "You should stay back a bit pretty flower! My... my electric stuff isn’t always good! But I’m gonna try!" She didn’t want to be too close to the tree and all if it went falling the wrong way and all. With Prim safely at a distance, she focused on a spot on the tree, fists clenching together tightly as her cheeks sparked to life and a healthy bolt of lightning struck at the side of it to make a dent. There we go!

Dotty tried to wrap her two brains around the idea of a lime, but somehow it was really hard. "Do they taste like noodles?" She asked, though in all fairness it was the only point of reference she had for food. "C-cake??? But I thought the cake was a lie... You mean it actually exists?" She seemed alarmed. Unfortunately her only experience with cake was that it was some lie fabricated by an evil computer in one of the digital puzzle games she'd played in the lab. Apparently the non numerical pie was something similar, but with custard like substances made of fruit and cream instead of baked dough.
Dotty smiled a little as the others joined in to compliment Piper on staying away from her bad habit. "I really would like to meet with you all again some time." She agreed. Any circumstances other than this would probably be better. Speaking of bad circumstances, Piper commented on the mud getting deeper, and Dotty took a quick glance all around them. "Uhh... I don't know, I've been floating above it all this whole time..." The only ones who would really be effected by the mud was Radium and Vivace. However, the group seemed to sense something amiss up ahead. Dotty could feel it too, and hear the chanting. "I... I feel.... Sleepy.... How is that possible if this is really the Dream World...?" She wondered. There was something about the ominous chanting that made her feel drowsy due to the droning.

Round bread and fruit, a combination that could never go wrong in Chickpea's eyes, especially if there was a variety of the latter! "They sound really good," he murmured, already rethinking the whole not being hungry thing. Mm, he was going to be fine! Even if masadas were quickly turning out to be the best thing he'd never had, from Sir Mogwai's description at least. Considering that he thought they were huge, there was probably a good bit to go around! And, even if the bear could fit an entire masada into his mouth, it would probably be too much for Chickpea. "Where do you usually get them from?" He was shifting into rapid-fire mode now, excited to learn as much as he could about the wonder food.
Chickpea hummed in contemplation at Daphnes' answer, his head bobbing in sync to the tune. "I can't eat meat!" he confessed, voice chipper despite the fact. "It hurts my stomach. But, I like some spicy foods -- though, only if it's mild. I can't really handle the super spicy stuff." He gasped, just a bit, when Sir Mogwai revealed that masadas could be spicy too -- it really was a wonder food! "Does it come in any other flavors?" Sweet, spicy, he'd never heard of a food that offered such a variety of flavors!
"Ooh yeah, it was!" Somehow it'd slipped his mind that he and Dune had met at the human thing, it felt like forever ago. "That was probably my favorite part!" Had there been a corn maze where they went? Chickpea couldn't immediately recall, but he felt as if he had, so he'd just go with that! "I think we went to the same thing then!" That was so cool! Someone as cool as Sir Daphnes, who'd been a stranger to him just a short while ago, had gone to the same thing as Dune and him! "The thing closed, but I bet they'll have another one! And when they do, you should have your trainer take you, Sir Mogwai!" he suggested to the bear, turning his head back to look at him and Dune too. "Yes! I'd love a hug!" Was Sir Mogwai a mind-reader on top of being a knight?! That'd be cool. "But, after we get through here!"
Which would be soon, if the familiar-yet-still-weird stone archway was of any indication. "Hellloooooo!" Chickpea called out into the fog. "Any enemies around here? We've come to fight you!"

"Oooh," Vivace hummed softly, keeping in mind the spots that Ai mentioned. She didn't know why, it wasn't as if this was information she could really use, she'd honestly just been making conversation. Maybe if she came across another pokemon that liked being petted she could put this to use? But... why would she ever be petting another pokemon? She didn't know.
She nodded her head, slowly, to Piper's explanation. Honestly, she didn't know what else to say -- at least not something that had already been said. She was glad that their presence had kept Piper from being too nervous, even in a place like this. She shared the same sentiment. After all, without them she wouldn't have been able to get this far! Literally. With her little legs, she'd probably still be on the first floor. Though, that wasn't to say she didn't genuinely appreciate being with these group of ladies, all four were amazing. "I don't know where my trainer and I -- or I guess my body? -- are, but I'll keep an eye out for you guys!" Vivace promised, then nodded her head to herself. Dotty and Radium, at least, would be easy to pick out from the rest of their species.
The sudden increase of mud (not that she would've noticed) followed by eerie chanting, yup they were nearing another fight; which also meant that they'd be leaving this floor soon. Though, the nagging feeling of exhaustion was a new one. "Try moving your arms around, like this," Vivace suggested to Dotty, then waved her arms up and down in a sporadic motion. "It'll help you stay awake."

Prim waited to see if Ulani would understand what she'd, tried her best, to mime. She wouldn't have been surprised if she needed to try and communicate her plan again -- it was a spur of the moment idea, and the right hand motions hadn't exactly been there to get it across quickly. But, lo and behold, the young squirrel actually did understand! And with a quick, and grateful, nod, the Florges gave her friend ample space to be able to conduct her electricity; the last thing either of them needed was for her to get electrocuted.
Despite knowing what was coming, Prim still jumped when the tree was struck by lightning, it'd just been so loud and the fact that there'd been an, almost blinding, flash of light didn't help much either. But, no matter! When her eye sight returned she could see that the bark of the tree had been charred black; definitely weak enough for her to do her own thing! Prim gave Ulani a thumbs up, impressed by her move, before she placed her candies and berry on the least murkiest spot of grass (a rather difficult task) before she placed her hands together. Her body grew still, and her eyes narrowed in on the blackened portion of the tree before she thrust both hands forward, summoning a powerful, pink tinted, beam and shooting it directly at the tree. The tree shook as small splinters exploded from the point of impact, dozens of leaves ripping away from their branches and falling to the ground, before a low groan erupted into the air. The sound of wood tearing and cracking resounded out through the swamp, and though the tree began to fall in the opposite direction of her Prim still made a hasty retreat back.
Branches snapping, grass being crushed underneath, and then finally a large thud as the tree hit the ground, sending a spray of muck everywhere. The eerie silence of the swamp was quick to rush back in, unnerving Prim for but a few seconds. She was far more interested in the fact that the plan had worked, and now they had a bridge! She stared over at the splintered end of the tree, though the fog prevented her from seeing beyond that, before she gathered her items and returned to Ulani, motioning that they could continue forward now.

As they walked along and conversed, Dice kept his eyes open on their surroundings. He was starting to sink just a bit as the path became mushier and had to stop every once in a while to shake the mud off. It wasn't sticking to him quite as much as mud normally did, but he was still getting annoyed over it. When would they get out of this mud? He didn't like this place all that much. Sebastian probably wasn't going to be happy with how much of a mess he was. The Cubone would need to find himself a way to get cleaned before he left this place, that was for sure.

Cling looked with interest at Dice, eventually landing, but continuing to slither along the ground as he and the little pokemon tottled on. "Is mom-dad nice?" he asked. Pretzel braid... seemed to confirm the guess he was going with during all this, which was that this person was Dice's trainer. Or, was at least a person. He blinked at the question, and his light glowed and flickered with interest along his back. "I would like to, actually. Your... mom-dad sounds interesting." Had Dice given a gender yet? The title kept sort of... throwing him off. "Do you remember where you were before you woke up here?" he added curiously.
