Alex sat down on the bed next to her, gently running his hand through her hair as he watched over her.

She smiled softly in her sleep. She woke about an hour later, slowly opening her eyes. She wasn't sure where she was and started to sit up a little scared.

Alex had fallen asleep in a chair next to the bed and was completely unaware of everything around him.

She sighed in relief as she saw Alex sleeping in a chair. She looked around taking in the room. "Must be his." She said softly, trying not to wake him. She quietly walked over to the window, glad that her legs are holding her and working properly.

He snored lightly and stirred in his sleep a bit but didn't wake up. He had a small smile on his lips as he slept.

She watched out the window a minute. Getting the time of day. They'd have to head for dinner soon. She padded back over to his chair and leaned over the back of it, her hands sliding down his shoulders and chest. "Alex.... wake up." she cooed into his ear.

Alex stirred again and cracked his eyes open, looking up at her a moment before smiling. He moved his hands over hers and closed his eyes again. "Do I have to? I feel like I just got comfy."

"Oh I'm sorry." she kissed his cheek. "But we do have dinner to get to soon."

He nodded and stretched a bit before rubbing his eyes. "Oh well. I guess if it has to be done." He teased and slowly got to his feet.

She smiled and kissed his cheek again before letting him get up.

He stretched once more as he stood and took her hand. "I guess we should be going then."

"Yes we should." She laced their fingers and leaned on him a little. She was trying to decide if she should tell Bubbee about everything before or after dinner.

He nodded and gave her a smile before leading them out of the house and towards her grandparents.

"How do I look?" she asked him. She felt clammy and still a little cold. she ran her free hand through her hair a little, hoping it wasn't sticking up oddly.

"A little pale. But other than that as beautiful as ever." He said with a slight smirk.
