"How long do you think we have then?" Skye asked. He hoped maybe till the morning, but figured they had at least an hour. But it didn't matter they needed to get moving if she wasn't going back. He had a ping of guilt as he realized he would have to leave his own family. They weren't just going to be hunted by the wolves, but the hunters as well. It would just be some time for the later of the two to begin.

"Not long." She replied, knowing that it wouldn't take long for her aunt to realize that she's gone. Lyle was about to start walking, but she began thinking about everything. She knew that this meant that Skye would have to leave his family too. That thought started to depress her. Lyle didn't want him to have to make this decision, but she loved him. She knew she was being a bit too selfish about this. "You know, you don't have to come with me." She said softly, almost hoping he wouldn't hear what she had said.

"What are you talking about. Were in it together, and I wouldn't have it any other way." Skye pulled her close to him and kissed her cheek. But he put too much pressure on his bad hand, and hissed in pain, "Damn." He took a step away and cradled his arm. He needed to get it set and soon.

A small smile spread across her face. Lyle was glad that this meant they could be together. Though, the smile didn't last long. It faded as soon as Skye hissed in pain from his hand. "Come, let get off the streets and take care of your hand." She said as she looped her arm with his and began walking.

"I need to grab a few things from the drug store. I think I'll have to re-brake it for it to heal properly." He spoked softly as a few people walked by. He didn't enjoy the thought of it, he had to do that with his brothers leg once, it didn't sound pleasant.

"Alright, let head there first then." She said quietly with a small nod of her head. Lyle had never broken a bone in her body, so she couldn't imagine how much pain he was in right now.

He spotted one as they walked down the street it was only a block and a half away. "If you want to wait out side, you can. I should only be a minute in there."

Lyle shook her head. "No, I'd feel better if I went in with you." She said softly. She wanted to be by his side at all times if she could. It would make her less worried about him.

"Okay." Skye smiled a little and as they walked in he picked up a basket, slinging it on his bad arm. He scanned the over head signs and then headed for aisle 5, health products. "Could you see if they have any wrist braces." He asked Lyle as he grabbed some gauss and ace bandages.

Lyle smiled as she followed him. "Of course I can." She said sweetly with a nod as she began looking for wrist braces. She felt better that she had went into the store with him. Honestly, Lyle would have been paranoid if she stayed outside. Who knows what could have happened in the short amount of time that it would take them to find and pay for all the supplies they needed for Skye. She smiled more when she found the wrist braces. Grabbing one, she skipped back over to Skye. "Here you go." She said, again in a sweet voice.

"Thanks." He smiled and put it in the basket. Then headed up to the register to pay. He was happy it didn't cost more then 30 bucks. Then Skye was leading her out and back to his hotel room. He flexed his hand a little and was glad to have grabbed some aspirin.

Lyle willingly follow him out of the store and back to his hotel room. She knew it was going to be strange living on the run, but for what it was worth, she wouldn't change her mind.

When they got up to his door, Skye fumbled with his key and door. "Stupid card." He mumbled.

Lyle watched as Skye tried to open the door. "Why don't you let me do that?" She asked softly with a sweet smile. She wanted to be able to help him until he was able to use his hand again.

Skye sighed and handed her the card key, stepping away from the door. "Sure." He didn't like to ask for help, but her offering he didn't mind.
