Severus looked up and smiled. "I figured the Potter Posse would still be mad at me no matter what you told them. And it's not like I want to sit down there. Are you sure you want to sit here?" His eyes drifted warily to Lucius.

"Yes i'm sure. I want to eat lunch with you. And i'm hoping the more people see we're still together the more those rumors will die out." Remus gave him a smile. He glanced at Malfoy hoping he wasn't going to try and cause anymore drama.

Severus's grin grew when he was that Malfoy was glaring but not looking to start any more fights. "I think we're finally going to be left alone."

"Good. I'm tired of fighting him. I'm ready for some peace." He rested his head on Severus' shoulder.

Severus smiled and kissed him softly, finishing dinner happily and contentedly.

(We still need something that will break them apart for good... Any ideas?)

(I thought that was going to be it. It also crossed my mind the Remus needs a mate. So i thought the wolf in him could have already chosen a mate perhaps Sirius or even James and that could drive them apart.)

Remus kissed him back. "Oh i told James and Sirius that you're not to be bothered again. So they shouldn't be doing anything mean to you." Remus finished his dinner and smiled at Severus. "Want to join me where we were before?"

(I thought that was going to be it, too. ~blames the muses~ I like that idea, though. We could go with that.)

Severus smiled and nodded. "All right. Besides, it feels more... I dunno... friendly over there. Like you're all one big family instead of just housemates."

Remus smiled a bit. "I was talking about going upstairs and cuddling. But yeah i like sitting at Gryffindor better too. James, Sirius, Peter, they are a lot like a family to me. It's nice."

Severus pouted for a second on having missed out on more alone time with Remus, but smiled again and followed his boyfriend over to the table, still a little hesitant.

Remus noticed Severus' frown. "What? Did you change you mind and want to do my idea instead?"

(Me either. Makes rps especially more fun.)

Severus grinned. "Maybe after talking to your friends for a little bit. I want to make sure they don't plan on cursing me in my sleep," he joked.

Remus smiled. "Ok." He sat down with his friends. "Hey guys."

Sirius eyed Severus coolly, then nodded. "Hey, Moony. I guess you guys really are back on speaking terms."

Severus opened his mouth to retort, but thought better of it. He really didn't feel like fighting with Remus again, or anyone right now for that matter.

"Padfoot, we're on more than just speaking terms. I told you everything's better between us. It was a misunderstanding."

Sirius nodded again. "Might be better with you two," he muttered into his food. "I'm even more unsure of him now than I was before."

Severus sighed and grabbed a tart off the table to eat while Remus and Sirius "talked".
