"You are! Very silly." exclaimed Izzy as he took the man's free hand. "And well, I think that it was Takagi-san that wanted you to stay in bed. The doctor said you needed bed rest, no heavy lifting, no driving, flying or touring for awhile. I don't think the doctor restricted you to the bed per say. I just don't want you to have another incident either so you need to be careful."
"Mmm...I...well...." Yes, he wanted Akihiko to come with him. He still wasn't completely ready for the tub and shower by himself. Although he was trying to get that part of himself back together. Some things were working themselves out on their own. Like the waterfall last night, he hadn't noticed it with his mind so focused on Akihiko. Would it have bothered him had he not been? He couldn't say.
"The bath sounds like it might be ok. Or mm...the shower. I've got to get over this..." He looked a bit frustrated as he picked up his sausage and started to nibble on it. "At least it doesn't look like a beach." he said with a rye smile. "If you want to come with me...umm..I wouldn't mind. But I don't want you to hurt yourself more by trying to help me. Sooner or later I've got to get myself back in the saddle and not worry about the water. The rational side of me knows it safe. I've been bathing and showering for years. But something irrational in me just happens sometimes."
He sighed a little and finished the sausage. Then looked down at his empty plate before smiling once again. "That was much better than the shrimp last night."

"You couldn't have messed up the shrimp that badly..." Akihiko replied, lightly squeezing Izzy's hand in the process. "How about this... you can use my bathroom, I'll switch the waterfalls off, and then I'll just watch you take a bath or shower this time?" he asked, knowing that Izzy had to get over it.
Just like he had to get over his own fears...
Fears of losing Ruki... of dying himself...
How close had he come to death now? It was probably a scientific miracle that he didn't have permanent brain damage by now. And somehow he'd been able to push any thoughts of drugs out of his mind.
Now that he was home though... he was more relaxed yes... but he was also more frightened.
They were closer to the danger here, after all.
"Times like this... I kind of miss your old place." Narcissus spoke out of the blue. "Your bed was damn comfy. Different than mine." he smirked slightly. "And everything smelt of you... Your place was lived in. Mine..." the musician shrugged, blue eyes glancing to the kitchen. "Well mine is used but there really isn't any warmth here. It's just a place to sleep. Maybe with you being here... it can find it's warmth finally."
Akihiko released his lover's hand and took their plates to the sink. "Well yeah bed rest tends to mean stay in bed... but I'm not going to do anything strenuous. Yakusoku. So..." turning, the young tiger leaned against the sink. "What do you want to do? Shower? Bath? Do you want me actually in there with you or do you want to try this time with me just watching? It's up to you, Ruki. I don't want to push you to get over this, but I don't want you to be afraid alone either."

"Mm...oh yes, I could. Well...they aren't too bad just a little...cooked." He didn't want to say they were rather crispy. And there was no way he was going to say how tall the flames were before Hayato-san had told him how to cook them.
"You miss my old place?" He smiled just a little at the thought of that homey small flat."I kind of liked it there too. It was the last place I picked out for myself." He sighed just a little as the old memories of 'home' flooded in.
"I think we can warm up this house...together. And if you liked my bed better, why don't we go get a mattress by the same company that fits your bed. I think you just need a feeling of family and friends here. I think we've got that." he smiled and winked at Akihiko.
"I know. I just want you to get well soon. So we can do more stuff together. I'd like to be more to you than a bed nurse. Of course you might like me being a nurse...." he laughed a little at that thought. No way was Akihiko getting him into a dress.
"Umm...a...umm...I could try a bath? Umm...ah...up to you if you want to get in or not. Mm...I guess let me try alone and...just stay close by?" he asked uncertainly. He wasn't sure how he'd feel although he really did love this house. It had so many spaces unlike his own apartment in Japan where things had to fit precisely. "I know...I know I have to get over this...and soon. I don't want to be worried about every fountain, bath, ocean....lake...Ugh...oceans and lakes make me just a little queezy." He turned his head just trying not to think about that deeper water. He'd rather be away from those sorts of place entirely.

Smirking mischievously, Akihiko walked over to the table and put both his hands on it, leaning down so that his nose was just a centimeter away from Izzy's own.
"You don't have the hips for a nurse... but a geisha... maybe that look would suit you better..." he teased before pressing their lips together.
It wasn't a passionate kiss, just one that said he loved Izzy. That he cared.
But afterward, when his partner looked away at the subject of lakes and oceans, one lithe hand reached out and took the megane-clad man's chin, turning him to face the young tiger once more.
"You'll get over it in time. Don't push yourself. I'm a living example of what happens when you push yourself too hard too fast, remember?" Narcissus laughed softly, his hand going from Izzy's chin to his cheek, gently caressing the side of his manager's face. "I think the mattress is a good idea. We can try out different models of that brand when I take you clothes shopping." he teased, winking again before releasing his lover's face and picking up their now empty coffee mugs, taking them to the sink.
Smiling, Akihiko shook his head. "I need a feeling of friends here. Not family. You fit that bill quite nicely. I... I wouldn't want you to have to consider yourself part of my ******** up family."

Been watching "Star Driver" today and finished up the first season of "Dog Days", as well as finishing the inking to my Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi fanart. I'll post a link to it when I upload it to my DA. Man I'm in such a Koy mood lately...)))

"A Geisha!? Oh..Oh no...not me!" he blushed then pointed out, "No that is more Naoko-san's speed not mine!" But then he was shut up on that kiss. Oh his partner really did know how to get him all flustered. Of course, he did like the way that Akihiko said...I love you. Not by words but sheerly by actions.
His eyes tilted up and looked into those deep blues. The only pools he never could fear to look into. "I know. I'm trying. I have to...Hmm..." he paused as his cheek was carressed. "have to take things in slow measured steps. Eventually, it will become normal again. And I do hope for it to happen sooner than later but...I can't push it. Yes, you're definitely the living example of moving too far too fast."
The idea of a new mattress brought a smile to his lips. "I even know the mattress store to go to. I hope you don't mind going to Okachimachi with me." The shop Izzy knew of was on the second floor over a street side grocery store. It wasn't the ritzy part of town but the shop had a good mattress selection and Izzy knew that they delivered too. Of course, Akihiko probably would want it picked up by a special delivery truck from Ohayou but he had purchase his mattress from there and he knew they carried the brands line.
"You know we will have to special order for that bed but I have a feeling that won't be too difficult. So where do you want to take me clothes shopping? Are you going to drag me though Shinkjuku? Harajuku? Ginza? I have a feeling unless you were some sort of disguise we probably will need bodyguards with us." Of course, what Izzy didn't think about right away was the fact that he'd probably need a bodyguard too in the general public after the recent events.
"I'm still not sure about some of these clothes yet. Well, Ohayou...sort of changed my style. Now it seems like I'm reverting back to clothes I might have worn at Indie. I guess things do revolve full circle. Ah...Indie....we had so many dreams there. Just glad that Jaz and the others have signed with Ohayou." His eyes held a faraway look with those thoughts. Then he shook them away.
"Mm...you know, the friends you love is the family you create around you. The family you choose to be a part of your life. Family isn't just about blood, it's about the people who share with you and care about you. Just like Crystal and Rukuro...They've accepted you as part of my family. I think family by choice is what you need, Akihiko." Izzy smiled softly and rose from his seat. "Your family by blood is a mess. That I won't deny. But you're working to make yourself a better person and that's the important part. You don't have to be like them." Turning around, he started to walking towards the hall. And looked back over his shoulder. "You going to run me that bath or do I have to do it myself?"
He winked and teased his partner as strode down the hall way and to the stairs down. Izzy actually realized he never had been in Akihiko's personal bath before. The last time he had been close to it, they had been in an argument and he never even saw it. So this would actually be the first time...He paused at the stairs down to the basement looking back to see if Akihiko had followed. Just because he was being playful, he still had to make sure that Akihiko didn't over do it.

With the mugs in the sink, the young tiger laughed, glancing over his shoulder at Izzy as his manager made his escape.
There was one thing that, even in his current state, Akihiko was a master of... graceful movements.
Thus, the moment his partner looked back, Izzy was already caught up in Narcissus' arms and lifted off the stairway step. Just because he was out of shape hardly meant he couldn't lift his lover, bridal style, and carry him down the stairs to the bedroom.
"You, are a handful." Akihiko teased, gently putting the megane-clad man down on the tile of the bathroom. He passed by, heading toward the immense tub to begin to run the bath. "Disguises will be needed for us both. You're familiar to the media and public now too. It's only right that you hide. But it shouldn't be too bad... MeKa will make people think we're still stateside... and if we're all bundled up, it will be much harder for people to tell who we are." he spoke, turning on the hot water and adding a bit of vanilla scented oil to the bath.
Smirking, he glanced to Izzy. "I think vanilla suits you." the musician teased, obviously having smelt it on the man after his cake fiasco. "And you're right." he continued, getting towels and wash cloths from the cabinet. "I don't have to be like them. I carry the same blood and the same name... but I changed for you. I can change for the better even still, ne?" Akihiko asked with a wink Izzy's way.
With all that finished, he hopped up onto the sink cabinet and leaned back comfortably. "I won't go anywhere so don't worry about anything while you're getting a bath. I'd suggest using the jet feature on the tub but... that might be a bit much for you this quick, though it would help get some of the cold from your bones."
Yes, even the young Koyasu knew that his lover might still be feeling the cold deep deep down inside. It was, after all, absolutely frigid outside.
As Izzy got into the bath though, Akihiko found himself sitting on the counter, eyes closed, singing one of the songs he'd written for the new album.
Music had a way of calming... so a part of the musician thought maybe he could keep Izzy's mind away from the water and on something else...

"Wait! Akihiko! You shouldn't be!" But no...the man didn't listen and he was up in the air into his arms. "Oh you're in trouble now, Mister. You know you shouldn't be doing anything strenuous." He huffed but he didn't squirm for fear that Akihiko would get hurt.
Once downstairs as he was gently put down, he swatted the man's butt as he turned away. "YOU need to be careful! What am I going to do with you? You're just one day in to this recovery and I'm already needing to put you over my knee." He wagged a finger as his more manager like side made its appearance.
However, he was a bit surprised when he was told he'd need a disguise. "Me? Uhmm....Oh." It was then realization hit. He was...rather popular right now. Not for just being Narcisssus' manager but his own merits...and Hawaii...and his new song. "I didn't think about that." he admitted as he started slowly undressing so he could get into the tub.
'You do?" he sniffed himself and pouted because he KNEW exactly where Akihiko got the idea from He also imagined that from this and the flour the man had a very engaging vision in his head as to what went on in the kitchen last night. He'd have to tell Hayato never ever tell Akihiko about what happened. He didn't want that verified.
"Well I guess...vanilla is ok." But he knew Akihiko was teasing him mercilessly. "I'm glad you agree. Because you are nothing like them." He gave Akihiko a quick kiss before moving close to the bath. He looked at the water for awhile then with careful movements he stuck a toe in. Ohh...it was nice and warm. Just the way he'd love to take baths before the storm.
Slowly...very slowly, he sunk into the water. His breathing became a little faster until his bottom touched the floor of the tub. "I'm in!" He said as if that were a big accomplishment. Each arm slid over the edge of the tub to keep him from sinking further. "I think maybe its just best to be like this for awhile. "Ahhh....the heat feels good." And the stillness of the water eased his mind somewhat because it was nothing like that horrible night.
But then Akihiko began to sing and Izzy couldn't help it but close his eyes and let the music seep thru the water and into his very soul. "So beautiful..." he muttered as he floated there. He did feel safe with his lover right there.

Eventually, Akihiko's singing turned to humming, blue eyes opening just enough to watch as Izzy relaxed comfortably in the bath. "Just think... you're the only person in the world who gets to hear me sing in person whenever they want. Fangirls would be jealous." the musician teased, watching his lover.
Lucky seemed alright in the bath on his own... which the young tiger knew was a huge step. The want to just join him was nagging... but he knew if that happened, one thing would lead to another and that 'another' would be against the doctor's orders.
"Don't worry. I'll take things careful the rest of the day. I just couldn't help sneaking up on you like that. You asked for it anyway." he replied with a wicked smirk, going back to humming softly.
After about fifteen minutes though, the musician couldn't help but laugh softly. "You know... having you around... it's fun. Certainly distracting, but... calming at the same time. It's nice to not want to cause trouble for once."

"I am the luckiest man alive. Yes, I'd bring out the jealousy in all your fans. Some of them would just die to be here right now. Remember, I've read your fan mail. Ugh...which by the way is probably filling a giant storage closet by now. Good grief. I'll need surgical gloves to get near that radioactive mess."
Izzy surely did think that the fans were crazy. Maybe Shou's were worse. However, he didn't have to weed through Shou's mail. Thankfully. "Your music is so soothing. That song...was really pretty. Ah..." His eyes opened and he glanced over at Akihiko.
"You'd better take it easy. And you're a terror when you're being mischievous. I should have known! I didn't ask for it! Ooh...when I get out of this tub, you're in trouble, Mister." But then the humming started and Izzy's eyes fluttered shut again. He was rather content to stay there and become a vanilla flavored prune.
"Mm? So does that mean you won't cause any more trouble for the rest of the week?" One eye flicked open as he teased knowing that the young tiger was far too eager to keep his paws in his pockets.

I can no longer return to those days free of bloodshed
These deep scars rooted within me will not disappear...
 "Ah...yeah, it would be nice of you to take Lucky-san out. I'm sure he could use lots of caring friends like you, especially after all he's been through, though I'm sure he's doing alright with Narcissus-san. Still, I know you two became close friends, and I think....friendship is most definitely a good thing to hold onto." Jun mused with a smile. He didn't see anything wrong with Izzy Lucky and Shou palling around. He had no reason to feel threatened by the manager...that he knew of. Plus...he felt badly for the man himself. After all he had been through, and all the things he had done to the poor man with his own two hands. He very well may never forgive himself for that...or for Narcissus... Oh, the evils he had wrought. Naoko, Izzy, Narcissus... Sometimes he felt so dirty, so unworthy of happiness. Even though his heart had changed, was still changing...it didn't erase the past. Nothing could ever wash away all the dirt on his hands... "A master cook?" the dark star looked to Ko, "Well, I can believe that. He is a man of many talents. I bet he does make good pancakes." he chuckled at the boy. "My eyes? Yes...they're just fine." he nodded to the little blond, pushing all his darkness back, deep down inside himself. Hide it, Hide it

"Would you want me to not cause trouble?" Akihiko asked in return, blue eyes narrowed and on his bathing manager. "You'd get bored if I were a good boy and you know it." he teased with a wink before looking up to the ceiling and sighing. "That's part of why you and I are a secret, Ruki. Jealousy in my fans. I don't want your career suffering or, heaven forbid, something happening to you, because you've got what thousands want." he paused then laughed. "Maybe I should buy you a hazmat suit..."
One eyebrow arched and the young tiger suddenly looked back to his manager. "Of course it's pretty. I wrote it about you." unlike the song Izzy had written about him... all of Narcissus' works were more along the lines of a lament.
It would certainly be an interesting release to say the least. What would his fans think? Would it cement that he had a thing for his manager in their minds... or would they see it as a sentimental moment for their star?
The man hidden beneath the mask.
Sighing, Akihiko stood up from the counter. "I'm just so restless though." he said, stretching his arms up over his head. "Sitting around for so long... makes me feel like I've lost my touch somehow. Course I guess I can work on songs... or hey maybe I could answer some fanmail? Perfect thing to do from bed, ne? Shou said something about Twitter... maybe I could try that."
Narcissus twirled around, hands on his hips as he looked Izzy in the eyes. "You did too ask for it. That little remark about me running your bath. First I cook for you and now I run your bath. I am not your wife, Ruki." he teased before standing up straight, across crossed over his chest in a mock pout.

"Of course...well I'm sure he's alright with Narcissus-san but. I do still worry about him. Indeed. A friend I never expected but will cherish for years to come. He's much stronger of a man than he lets on. When the going gets tough, he's surely one person I'd want watching my back." Shou said with certainty and a thoughtful smile.
"And here I might never have noticed otherwise. I take that as my reward from Hawaii." His eyes looked distant for a moment as if caught in another world. "Ah...I do look forward to our next encounter...I want to play with him again. His voice is really quite special. Such an emotional vocalist when he lets himself go."
As Shou was musing about his friend, Ko looked up at Jun and nodded. "Yes. He's a master cook. I think he should become a chef if he doesn't sing. Then he could cook for me all the time!" Little Ko had big ideas most which didn't relate to realism because he was still a young boy. "He could make me pancakes every morning! In the shape of bears....just like...." He stopped there and looked down at his plate for a moment. Just like someone he didn't wan to think about anymore. People that had left him....there....
"Uncle Shou, You're never going to leave me right?" Ko suddenly asked cautiously and a bit nervous.
Shou's eyes snapped back into the real world and searched out the small boy, "I will always be here for you, Ko. I won't leave you...I'm your guardian now until you grow up and can be on your own." Shou reached over and gave Ko a hug then kissed his forehead. "Don't worry Ko. I'm always watching over you."
Ko seemed to feel more at ease when Shou spoke to him with words that made him feel protected. "I'm always going to be your Ko."
"Yep!" Shou answered and then pulled away tousling Ko's hair. "So, do you want any more to eat or do you want to play more with your toys? We can go searching for a piano if you get dress. Oh...If I get dressed too. I don't think they will want me walking around the resort in my PJs." he giggled and Ko giggled too.
"Do you want to come with us Jun?" ask Shou as he got up and put his plate in the basket under the cart of food. Ko followed and did the same thing then raced off to get into his clothes.
