"What a beautiful name," he says, taking Aquos' left hand in his right, and putting his free hand on Aquos' waist. "It suits you perfectly. You're like the sea on a bright day, bright white and sunken blues and greens." Kasmai smiles as he begins to guide them around the dance floor, leading them into an intimate dance, pulling Aquos close into his body.
He's not entirely sure what's compelling him to do any of this, but it had been so horribly long since he'd been outside, socializing with people! It's all so exhilarating! First the impromptu wrestling match with that gorgeous green faun, then dancing so close with this pretty angel....so far it had been a good party.
Kasmai had never considered himself an impulsive person, but he gets so caught up in everything, he leans in to give his new partner a kiss...
But something strikes him, square in his back. Startled, he turns and catches the eye of a...stunning purple demoness. "I...I'll be right back," he says to Aquos without looking at him. Something, some insistent force is driving him toward the demoness.

As Kasmai practically makes a beeline for the new object of his desire, he's delighted to find that she's slinking over to him! The attraction must be mutual, he notes with a bit of a blush.
"Would I like to get out of here?" he repeats, slipping his arm around her waist. Suddenly he very much would like to get out of there. Out of the open. Into somewhere private and comfortable. "Sincerely, I would," he agrees. "D'you know of anywhere we might...get to know each other better?" he asks with a light pinch of her rear.
Kasmai thinks that he's never seen someone so attractive in all his life! Sure, the other two had been pretty, but her? Her. Wow. Something about her just made him want to touch her all over, every inch of her. To press his skin against hers, two shades of purple made one. He wants to lose himself in her hair, her eyes, her hands, her face.
He has to have her.

She gave him a knowing look at his teasing words, shaking her head at him and chuckling but going along with it, “Well, guess I can't let ya go with anyone then myself. It's settled.” she gave him a smirk before twirling herself out of his arms, rolling just as easily back into them and against him. She appreciated how his body felt against hers, so sure and strong. Of anyone who could have asked for her company this night, she sure got someone who could be hard to resist. His words stirred emotions in her stomach that she didn't recognize, but it only took one word to herself to dash them away.
He was a flirt.
It was how they all worked and that's what she had wanted in the beginning wasn't? She had agreed to the fun by throwing it back to him. Not to say she wasn't enjoying herself still because she sure was. It was just- weird. Weird to be in a new world and acting like her old self. Acting like this was the only good that came out of situations like this- endless flirting with nothing else.
At that moment a cookie colored, sprinkles covered Pae brushed past them and off of the dance floor. Fortissimo could hear the dear sobbing as she passed and she almost felt pity towards her. That is why she didn't do it. A male like herself run after her and she sadly shook her head at them. That is what you got- a bunch of pain.
Then why did her heart ache whenever she thought about being alone? She had spent her whole life alone, only ever taking company from a few at the club after her shift. Always over drinks and never coming home with her. She didn't want to share her space, didn't want to let anyone in. She didn't need it. Had something happened to her? Had she been so disconnected from others that she just needed someone right now?
That had to be it. She had such a need to be around others that her time of solitude must have messed her up. She'd spend this time with this handsome male and have her fill of attention. She'd be better after this night and move on with her life.
And like always she said things that sounded beautiful in a fairy tale, “And I will be your own open book. To read and know everyth'n. I know you have questions from earlier, an' I will be yours to indulge in.” her voice grew lower and her eyes drooped as she spoke the words. To her they were empty words, promises that would never be thought about again after this evening because that's as long as this would last.
He kissed her knuckles and the blush that appeared on her cheeks were real. As much as she hated the fact that he managed to do that to her, she appreciated that he was able to. She hadn't felt this alive in ages. This evening continued to become more and more entrancing, “I knew I could count on ya, sugar. Haven't had myself some of that creamy smoothness in awhile!” she pulled her hand from his and cupped his cheek, brushing it with her thumb as the song ended.
“Speak'n of which, I'm starv'n. Would ya mind escorting me?”

Euphrosyne had been so caught up in her own arrow-flinging she hadn't seen Himeros' arrow at all. Instead, she'd felt it in her shoulder, then winced a little and looked over at it just in time to see it disappear. She glances up, trying to find Himeros to search for a reason for shooting her on his face, but instead she catches the eye of a...very, very handsome demon.
A smile curls onto her face and, though she knows it's the arrow's magic working, she saunters over to the purple male, delighted to have caught his affections. "I'd love to get happy with you," she says to him, slipping an arm around his waist. He appears to have been talking to a pretty blue fauness as well. She can't blame him, the other is rather...generously endowed. She simply smiles at her, even though the other femme doesn't appear to appreciate Euphrosyne's presence. Jealousy? It's only natural--she's a goddess, after all. "Don't fret," she says to the rainbow-haired fauness, "There's enough happiness in me for all three of us!" She reaches out and touches her cheek fondly, then turns her attention back to the purple demon, who is what she really wants. Anything else was just a bonus.
She squeals with laughter as her tail touches her leg. Cheeky! She turns toward him, clinging to his side and lifting one leg across his body. "You know," she offers coyly, "I know a place we could go that has a little more...privacy." She grins.
Wait, where was he going?
Now, it's not in Euphrosyne's nature to be jealous, but seeing her man walk off like that? Just to show off to another male? Hmph! She won't stand for it! "C'mon," she says, taking the femme's hand and towing her over to where her man was showing off. She puts them bodily between the other two, reminding him what was at stake here. "As I was saying," she says, hands on her hips, assets displayed, "I know somewhere we could go to get a little more comfortable..."

How could she let her emotions get away with her? How could she indulge in them with her friendship? Secretly enjoying them, taking advantage of situations to feel them again. It wasn't entirely true, but Bree was convinced that's what she had done as her blindly ran out the doors and away from the crowded room. The sounds of chatter and music faded behind her, her heavy, tear laden breath and racing heart pounding loudly filled her ears instead. Her own angry voice was raging so fiercely in her head that she hadn't taken notice to his calls.
It wasn't until he used a tone she had never heard come from his lips before that caused her steps to hesitate. She was about to turn around when his hand was on her, forcing her to stop immediately. It wasn't a harsh grab, but she could tell there was enough of a force behind it that she immediately felt bad for running off like that from him. He deserved an explanation, not more confusion.
The look on his face when she turned to face him was like a sharp jab to the heart. She quickly looked away, attempting to brush the tears from her eyes, but they just kept spilling over. Now was she not only overwhelmed, but embarrassed. To some she had overreacted if they didn't understand her beliefs or who she was. His words touched her, and she turned her head back to gaze up at him. His face made her heart ache and a familiar warmth spread through her chest. It took everything in her to keep herself from kissing away the confusion from his face-
Wait, did she just think about kissing the Prince?
This caused another sob to raise up from her throat, “But you don't know, sir,” she choked out, “what has been going on in my head.” she instantly flushed at what she said, raising her hands up and waving them in a panicked like manner, “Not anything like that! I-i just....” her hands fell in defeat, tears still staining her cheeks.
She sniffled and nodded pitifully at his request for her to stop crying. She needed to if she was going to explain to him what had happened, “I am a very magical being.” she started slowly, her stomach rolling with what she was about to confess, “I don't always understand my powers and abilities, but I have been- I have been feeling some powerful things.” this ended in a soft whisper, a hand coming up to her heart. “For you, sir, things you do make my heart want to dance, and I think that that could have done something to us.”
“I'm so sorry, Feralheart, I am so selfish sometimes and I think its finally caught up with me.” her eyes met his as he gazed at her. Those eyes knew just how to make her melt right where she stood and right now she didn’t know if she loved how they looked at her or wished he'd stop. She felt anxiety rising up in her wondering how he would take the news. She considered it a crush, but could a simple crush cause such a huge mess?
These new questions had her even more confused then before. Did she even need to confess what she just said to him? Little feelings like this couldn't control magic could it? Now she just wanted to run and hide. If it wasn't necessary then she was opening herself up to possible rejection.
She wanted to just fade into the walls now.

============================================================================== Dysmas smiled at Sweetie, glad she liked his idea because he really didn't know what else to do at this sort of thing. Except maybe to avoid the drink table. He had visited the party the previous year... nothing had happened to him, but he saw all the adults disappear from the room. Nothing was supposed to happen this year though. There were things that were beyond control of the goddess though, like getting intoxicated and doing and saying things one would regret.
He led Sweetie, still on his arm, to the dance floor. The boy didn't really know how to dance either, but he was fairly graceful on his long slender legs. Sweetie helped bring Dysmas' attention to the drama that was going on, "Yeah... that seems like a good idea." See, exactly why they should stay away from the drink table. Dysmas was unaware of the nearby teenager, and even if he was aware he wouldn't think anything of it. He was just a teenager.
o0_Daisuke_0o Malek- fun fact: Dysmas is Malek's cousin! Though the probably have never met. ============================================================================== The zebra continued to dance with the male, more and more convinced that they were soulmates with each and every step and glance. Zecora had never expected to find anything like this for herself, she had never looked either. It felt so unreal for her.
It felt as if the faunies had been called home to Telrunya just so that Zecora could meet Enki, her other half in the world. The only pae in the world who was like her in some ways, but also complemented her and brought out a different side to her. All these things she had never seriously thought about as her feelings for him before getting shot by the arrow were just beginning to see Enki as more than a friend.
"Yes Enki?" Zecora asked as her gaze went back to looking up at Enki, her eyes almost seemed to sparkle the way that she looked at him. She had never known a more perfect contentment.
============================================================================== Diona had been too engrossed by the recent discovery of her hero to have noticed at first that the baker fae was calling after her. She just needed to praise this cat goddess for existing.
She would come back to the baker fae after she felt satisfied by her hero, then she would continue to show off to him how amazing she was. Now, she had her hero vouching for how amazing she was even. What would the baker fae have to compare to the complements from the feline.
Yes, Diona was clearly the... oof. Her wind was knocked out of her by the baker dude flying right at her in a tackle. It took Diona a moment to recognize him, but as soon as she did, the desire to compete with him was flowing through her blood once again. Perhaps she would show him first and then have the rest of the evening to devote herself to her hero.
This was an excellent idea.
Diona tried to flip so that she was on top of this tackle, but her physical prowess was not at the top of its game, so she failed in this regards. If she was going to show off to this male she would need to use her feminine charms to defeat him. "Oh dear..." Diona said, fluttering her eyelashes, hoping he would let his guard down for just long enough that she could gain an upperhand.

Tilting his head back to finish his drink in turn, Hjortur smiled as the warmth spread down his neck, pooling in the pit of his stomach. Man, that was some pretty good stuff. His eyes wandered away, taking note of the chaos that had developed while they were dancing. Some were getting pretty intimate, others overwhelmed. “It appears that the guests are quite enjoying themselves.” Catching sight of Himeros running off with the two girls following, the naiad laughed. “Perhaps some more than others.”
Amasis Feel free to reply to the 'sumer lovin' rp too. we're almost done I think
Dance? Did she want to dance with him? Of all the outrageous ways this could have gone, there was no way that she was going to let this creep have any sort of luck with her…
“Sure.”
What? What?
Even though the word came out clipped and irritated, it was still an acceptance. No, no no no. She did not want to dance with him. Well, no, she did, but she didn’t want to actually react on it. How had he known that she had wanted to do such a thing? Creep.

It was a strange reaction, or would be to most. Most would have been unnerved by the odd, detatched way the Fae spoke, or the clinical way she responded to Danya's attempts to seduce her. The Wilwarin focused only on one thing she'd said though: she was interested in him.
Victory!
Still holding her hand in his, he moved to wrap an arm around her waist, guiding her towards the edge of the room, away from all the crowds and noise. "You can call me Danya," he offered smoothly, briefly and subtly looking her up and down. "And what's your name, my dear beauty?"
