Leitha noticed the golden light. If she had been any of her usual self, the silvery naiad would have stayed. As it was, Leitha was utterly embarrassed and shamed. She didn't really want to stay in that guardian blasted garden. She scowled, stepping into the light.

When she looked upon her... What was he now? He had tried so hard to defend her. He'd actually managed to do it when the time came too. Whatever Cadassi was to her, Leitha had started looking at him with cold eyes. As she considered her relationship to him, the look softened. It was then that she realized how embarrassed she was. With a grunt, attempting to mask the shame, Leitha all but ran to the nearest exit. She wanted out.

Nyx was surprised to see that Anteros was back to normal. She was confused by what he said. "There is no problem." she said looking over at Bneut with a smile. she thought nothing of Anteros touching her shoulder as she was so happy to see her date paying attention to her.
Nyx was surprised to see they were back into the ballroom or what was left of the ballroom. "didn't this place look a little different when we first came back?" she said looking at Bneut. May be it was just how handsome Bneut looked in the ballroom light. He had been very brave to take on that crazy Erote all by himself even if he was trying to use Brocoli as a weapon. He was trying to protect her she thought no one had ever done that before.

Lugh only registered that as soon as he'd started brandishing the weapon, the armed guards had backed down. He didn't really care what they were doing anymore, they weren't in his way. "Yeah, that's right," he taunted, keeping a wary out for their return, as he crossed to the bound Goddess.

"Don't worry," he murmured reassuringly as he began cutting her bonds away. "They're not going to hurt you any more. I promise." He gave her a gentle smile, careful with the knife as he sawed through the rope. "There we go, almost done..." The last rope fell away, and he rested his hand against her soft skin for a moment, checking that she wasn't hurt, of course. He then tried to help her up, concern radiating as he asked, "Are you alright?"

The pygmies kept poking and pushing Lillison until she was out of the treehouse, and they slammed the door shut.

Inside, the now-freed goddess flung herself at Lugh, wrapping her arms around him. "My hero~" she cooed, then kissed him gently on the lips.

The pygmies stood guard at the door of the tree house. Lugh had fallen into Voluptas' -- Goddess of Seduction -- trap, and he was under her spell, unable to free himself. It is up to Lillison now to help Lugh, and then somehow break Voluptas' enthrallment. But be careful, Voluptas has been armed with many special items to aid in her seduction and destruction of the Pae'il.

Outside the treehouse, all of the enchanted animated items have lost their enchantment, and are available to use. If Lillison investigates the area, she'll find a perfume bottle with only a little bit of perfume left, a fluffy pink powder puff in a silver compact, a hand-held mirror and matching hair brush all inside a bag hidden behind the tree. There is a box beside the bag, and inside is a small wooden butterfly that looks hand-carved, a white dove feather, a blonde fake mustache and matching wig, and a wooden doll with specific features that match the bound goddess, and a gold armband.

Cadassi wasn't about to leave all his stuff here. he had worked to hard to collect it. Collecting the items, all neatly stacked on the sheild, he looked for his rubber chicken. He had just been peering under the hedges when the golden light appeared. He looked at it a bit skeptically until he saw the pink goddess waving at them. Well... This was strange.

Looking back at Kleta, he grinned broadly. She still had the rubber chicken lodged in her helm. Grabbing her arms, he attempted to pull her away from the hedges so he could retrieve the chicken. He had just about got is when he heard the rumbling voice. Looking down on his checken helmed challenger, he gave her a tiny pat on the head. "Sorry. You're on your own." he said.

Grabbing his stuff, he made a beeline for the exit.

"Oh wait, no! Lugh?!" Lillison stared at the slammed door and let herself plop onto the grass. A pang of jealousy went through Lillison, completely abandoned for the beautiful maiden, the feeling quickly turned to fear though. "Lugh..." she called out again and again. Nothing. After a good hour had passed and there was still no response from her friend, Lillison started to panic more. Something wasn't right... he wouldn't just ignore her like that, would he? They were friends... they needed to get out of the maze together, he would help her.

Lillison walked around the garden, mostly pacing and trying to figure out what to do, there still wasn't any clear way out. As she walked around the tree she noticed a bag and a box and picked them both up. Lillison peeked inside, she wasn't sure what to do with anything in them yet, but she brought them over to the front of the tree anyways, maybe she would come up with something. Then Lillison noticed that the enchanted items had gone limp. "Hmm..." she wandered over to the spot that they had been hiding in and picked up the rocks. She began chucking them at the open window of the tree house. Most of them missed and just banged on the walls of the house, but a few went through the open window. What she was hitting inside the house, or if she was even hitting anything, was unknown to her.

"My eggs! Who took my eggs!?"

Leitha jumped, backing from the loud voice. Instinct took over before emotions. Noticing the glowing light, her amethyst eyes widening at the sight. Oh what a lovely sight it was. The naiad took what she had left, realizing it wasn't much, and bailed for the light under the hedges.

It wasn't until she realized they were in the ball room again, that Leitha looked around. Cadassi had made it through the same time she had. That was interesting. She blushed, looking away.

He defended her when she ran. He saved them both. No one had the guts to do that. Especially when Leitha had a tendency to get them into some serious trouble. He was something special to her. He couldn't know that. He had no reason to know it right? Her thoughts turned her facial expressions from a blushing innocent girl, to the scowl she normally wore.

The stand-off had continued long after the others had all left, or disappeared from the area. Amused that it had lasted this long, Chrysalis prepared for another comeback from 'Shining Armor,' when a furious voice ripped through the maze.

"My eggs! Who took my eggs!?"

Even the faux Shining cringed at the sound. What in blazes was that? She was curious...enough so that perhaps this would be even more entertaining than the two before her. She was getting a bit bored. And since no one else was around, she shrugged, turning to the couple. "Well, this has been fun and all," she droned, dropping Shining's voice for favor of using Cadence's. In that instant, her form shimmered, replaced by that of the pink princess'. 'She' looked down at herself. "Always liked this one better anyway, but still not fond of the color," she murmured to herself. Ah well. "In any case," she turned with a devious grin on 'her' face...so out of place on the kind princess' normal visage. "Seems the game is over for now. Best follow your friends before whatever that is catches up to you. Ta-ta!" She snapped her fingers, and a whirl of dark smoke seemed to cover her exit. As it dissipated, she was gone.

Cadence's attention shifted the moment the loud screech filled the area. If two Shining Armor's wasn't bad enough, something else had seemed to awaken. But before she could say anything else, the faux Shining shifted forms again.... into herself?! "What.... it.. can't be!" she gasped. Had whatever it was that posed as an impostor Cadence really fled with them to this land? It couldn't be, it just couldn't... and yet here she or he was face to face. In a momentary fit of confusion, anger and fear, Cadence tried to summon her magic, only able to get sparks to fly off the tip of her horn before the impostor vanished. "Shining..... what do we do, we have to tell Celestia..... but we have to get out too." she sighed, glancing over at something that caught her attention now that there wasn't a threat. At least one right in her face anyways. Something shiny sparkled beneath a bush and Cadence wandered over, bending down to retrieve it. It was some sort of ancient key. "Do you think this can get us out of here?" she asked, holding the key gently and glancing back at Shining as she wandered over to take his hand and place the key in it, leaving her hand resting atop it as well, as if she was afraid to let him out of her sight, so she was going to hold on any way possible.

As Yipes called out to him, Twizzz whirled around, it seemed the chaos of the maze had now arrived, uninvited, at the party. He had been watching the eggs spin and twirl around, it was so hard to keep track of them and now the ceiling was falling?!. Twizzz ran over to Yipes, closing up the distance by skidding across the dance on his knees. "Your... er baby?" He reached out his hands to grab the egg bouncing off Yipes fuzzy behind before it'd hit the floor.

"MY BABY!!" yipes all but squealed. Grabbing the egg, he jumped up to his feet and hugged it tight. Murmuring sweet nothings to the solid little piece of eggery, he rocked it. After a few minutes, he looked at Twizzle and said "Our baby is asleep!"

Then he cheerfully went to the buffett table. Egg in one hand, a plate in the other.

"Company," repeats the lovely young "lady" in the pool in a sultry alto voice. Iordanes giggles, but something in his tone hints that perhaps not is all right with him. He turns to face the two fauns, his eyes glowing with Eris' sickly purple spell. "I'm fine just as I am, thank you," he says, beginning to climb out of the pool. The water drips from his skin, off his luscious curves, as he rises from the water. "But you two look like you could use some...company." He giggles again, wrinkling his nose mischievously.

In one fluid motion, Iordanes scoops up his bow and arrows from the grass beside the pool and nocks an arrow. "How about you, handsome?" He says, letting an arrow loose straight at Doctor Whooves!

Okay, so even through the lovely scents, the heady, lusty feelings swirling in his mind, when the purple goddess, er god, emerged from the pond, an inconvenient truth was revealed. Chuckling nervously while backing up, Doctor couldn't shake the wanton desire still swirling as a result of the pollen from these exotic flowers. "K'anpo, old chap, I think we took a wrong turn back there. I'm sorry Ms---Sir, we'll just be on our way.

At sight of the arrow aimed directly at him, Doctor turned to run.

"I think he shot my bum!"

He kept running, albeit limping, even though the arrow pain is very minimal. Around the corner of the hedge, he stopped to make sure K'anpo was following. Wow, K'anpo is looking really good tonight.

The rocks were successful in knocking out the pygmies. There are no more guards at the door, however, Lugh is still in there with the Goddess.

If Lillison comes back in to the treehouse, she will see Lugh in Voluptas' arms, completely under her control. Eris has given to Voluptas a special lipstick that can control the minds of males. The tube of lipstick will have been located in the bag Lillison already found.

Lillison kept throwing rocks until she ran completely out of them. "Ok... now what?" It was possible that everyone was already knocked out... including Lugh... but she couldn't know unless she went back up in the tree house. Just because Lillison was shy and sometimes naive, it didn't mean she was stupid, she wasn't about to go blindly into the tree house without something else to use.

Lillison began to roll up the garden hose, thinking it might make a good rope and put it over her shoulder. Then, she grabbed one of the garden gnomes, Lillison liked having things to throw, and a spade for good measure. Lillison stopped to look at the bag and the box, it was just way too much to carry up into the tree house. Lillison set everything down and began to sort through the bag and box again. The naiad, kept the bag, but emptied it of everything except for the perfume. Lillison stopped to look at the lipstick, it seemed to be the same color that the goddess had been wearing. Maybe Lugh would pay attention to her if she wore the lipstick too... it seemed kind of silly, but she put it on anyways.

The contents of the box seemed fairly useless to her as well. Lillison popped off the head of the wooden Voluptas doll in a fit of frustration. Finally Lillison stopped and looked at the armband. It really seemed as useless to her as the rest of it, Lillison turned it over a few times, stuck on it. It was heavy enough, being made of gold, perhaps it was something else she could throw. Lillison threw the bag over one shoulder, the hose over the other, the spade in one hand, and the gnome in the other hand. The small of stature naiad looked ready to tip over.

Lillison wasn't going to be able to climb up to the tree house with no hands so she put the gnome in the bag for now. Lillison slowly pushed open the door. "Hm, that was easy enough" she climbed in the rest of the way sticking the shovel in first ahead of her. "Oh..." Lillison blushed, Lugh seemed very involved with the goddess, maybe she should just leave them to it. No! "Lugh, we have to go." she pleaded with him.

School's been eating me too.

Tariq lurches upon the impact of the second arrow. He's determined to get himself and his lady love out of this accursed maze, but when he glances over to see Louise, his mind gets all...fuzzy. All he can think of is her--how beautiful she is, how gracefully she moves, how silky and smooth her hair looks, even in disarray as it is from their adventure in the labyrinth.

Tariq tosses the picture aside, ignoring the crunching sound it makes when it hits the ground, glass shattering, and strides with confidence over to Louise. He folds her in his arms, drawing her close to his body, and kisses her deeply. "I love you," he says, his face flushing. "I'm not sure what....moves me to confess it, since we've only met recently....but I'm certain that it's so, with every fiber of my being."

Eros, to Tariq at least, is forgotten.
