Seto heaved a sigh, his chest collasping in on itself as he drew his legs up to it. He felt awful about this.

Malik look up at him. "I've heard of them..they are shadows from the relm...Set created them 5000 years ago as servants but they quickly got of hand and had to be sealed away. They are back for revenge."

Ryou opened his eyes slowly and looked at everyone. "So they've been festering all this time, waiting for the chance to get back at the one that created them. That explains alot. Though, where is Mokuba then? He was the one that called most of us."
His head was beginning to hurt him again, something that only happened when he used too much energy. Then the entire room shook when his stomach growled, a sound that was eeringly similar to the sound Obelisk made.
"Oops." Ryou said blushing lightly. "I guess I'm hungry."

Yugi smiled as he he was held by his Yami, feeling safe when ever he did so.
The shadow winced as it limped down the hall, after all it had hardly made it out of the room after the group had attacked him. Darkness gave way to long black hair and lucid blue eyes that shimmered like ice, his tan skin had begun to lose the color from the sun in the years past when he lived in the sands. Stopping for rest it slid down the wall and sat like a broken puppet as it tried to regain what little breath it had.

Jou's eyes went a little wide as he processed that. "And you're sayin' that Kaiba used to be this Set... so that's why he's..." he looked at Seto, then at Malik again. So, the Kaiba was feeling guilty for that... "It's not his fault, right?"

"No. It's not his fault."
Yami stood up, pulling Yugi to his feet as well. "There's a stronger one running around here. That one was created by Set. It created the one we were fighting now, though I'm not sure how or why."
Without warning, he sagged back against the wall, letting go of Yugi as he braced himself against it. He raised a hand to his forehead.
"I feel dizzy," he mumbled, sinking to the ground. His eyes wouldn't focus at all.
The Specter approached his brother. It appears you didn't have much luck, little brother. His eyes were filled with genuine sympathy as he knelt down beside the other. We will make them pay, he hissed, as some of his own darkness filtered onto the other, healing him.

Malik smiled. "The Pharoh is right none of this is Kaiba's fault he can't be held repsonsible for the actions of his past self however the rod is the key to banishing them probably." he sighed. "I'm not sure about that though."

Once Yugi was on the ground he rushed to Yami's side and helped him in any way that he could. "Yami...do...do you need anything?"
It smiled at it's brother as the shadow stood, it's human like form once more covered by the darkness. "Thank you brother." It said and then looked down the hall. "They...almost killed me. "

"Nothing...much," Yami grunted, massaging between his eyes. They still refused to focus. "Just...overused...my power...nothing critical..."
But the weakening side effects had never been this severe before...
There's no use worrying Yugi, though--I'll be all right.
I know. His form congealed and became even darker. I felt your pain--but they did something to the walls, and I couldn't help you.
He bared his fangs. We have to keep together now, brother. They have strange power. But I have a plan.

Yugi looked at his Yami as he held the larger man in his arms. "Tell me if you need anything ok Yami?" He smiled as he spoke, not knowing how bad it was.
The shadow stood and looked at his older brother with a smile. "May I ask what this plan is?" He almost hissed as he moved closer. "I owe that spikey one..."

Yami couldn't help but smile. "I will."
The specter grinned wickedly. The Pharaoh, or the runt? It doesn't matter--this targets both of them. You had a good idea pretending to be him, but it wasn't quite convincing enough--if only because the real Pharaoh was there. If you can keep the Pharaoh restrained, I can manipulate the runt...by becoming the Pharaoh.

Malik was getting anxious and went over to a mirror removing shirt trying to decipher the markings. Of course being as he was looking into a mirror it really wasn't working. "Bakura...help me out here..mabye there is something here that can help..you know how to read this don't you? There is some stuff here even I can't read..but I never did pay attention to my studies."
