As you already know LOL, My girls and boys would love to be involved in someway once we get this set up. The boys would likely focus on entertaining in a non-competitive way, setting up meals, or being involved in group shows o3o And of course, Setting up prizes, a feast, costumes, music, and decorations and trying to organize artisans. Laveda would like to act as one of the judges, and Risuleri would want to compete and show off.

I was thinking about a way to make the contest believable but fair. I was pondering a roll of the dice for each 'move' you plan on doing in your section when its your turn to compete. We could make a special thread for it outside of the RP and just link to it at the start of your post when you post your piece in that particular competition. Quite possibly in the flock guild.

Like roll 5d10's if you had five major moves to show off in the dance your mare was performing, with 1 being so nervous you can barely move/fail so spectacularly that it shakes you somewhat, requiring you to pause momentarily (ICly, but not OOCly) and 10 performing it with heartbreaking perfection.

If your mare's (or really even stallions) profession is a Dancer or performer such as Vanya or Risuleri (who's my dancer) or has an agreed upon reason to be good at a particular trait (Such as with choreographed combative rhythm dancing or war based dances done by Roniel) there could be a roll of some sort for a bonus 'flourish', and if a 1 is rolled they can roll for a recovery before writing the rp up in the competition thread.

The whole competition/festival could be done in multiple rps going on at the same time/starting at various times throughout the IC day/week of the pageant so actual competitions are done on the side and announced Canonly for observers, but mares/stallions could chat without a posting order in character while not interrupting/overwhelming competitors or 'judges' (though it'd be actually based on the roll of the dice)

I dont see anything that stands out and makes me question the plot ideas/personality enough to need to contact Dragain about it, so Approved!

biggrin And its alright -- the Guild's been trying to figure out tools one can use with their mouth, and work side by side with those lacking front claws, so he could be trained in some things if he took an interest in it and had the patience to work with someone on it. And the artisan guild is set in a cavern with a collapsed roof, near a vein he could mine from if he was interested in collecting pretties, or he could help tend to domesticated animals or assist the familiar members of the flock who have joined the guild in collecting materials from nature (Along with an NPC Harpy Guard)

I have two girls who'd work for catching him. Risuleri sounds like she'd be a better fit though since Laveda would pounce first and then ask questions while he's captive, but Risuleri's a flirt and prefers convincing people into joining than using violence, and I could easily just take him to Laveda to check the spirit's thoughts on him and make sure he's ok to be there by 'their word'.

Galla is graceful and had considered being a dancer before realizing she could serve her sisters best as a guard. But she says she can outdance them all. ( Awfully competitive isn't she? >.>)

As for the competition; I like the idea of having it being dice rolled and something extra for those who are dancers/skilled in dancing. It seems to be fair. c:

Multiple RPs would be the easiest way to do it since it won't be cluttered. One main RP for everyone participating and then the RP for the dance itself and maybe a seperate RP for commentating? Just so the dance RP doesn't get.. confusing. XD Unless you think it'd be okay for the commentating to be in the same RP as the dance.
