Reminds me of the story where (fictional) a man suspected his wife was having an affair. He took a gun and shot her one day, then buried her outside his house. The next day, golden hair grew out from the ground, his wife's hair. He cut it.

The hair grew out again the next day, but even longer than it was the first day. The man cut it again.

A few days later, the hair grew out fast overnight and strangled the man in his sleep.
