*tries hard not to but bursts out laughing hysterically* *Kakkosen hops onto the counter top in case she leans back into her chair and topples over* Oh TES you are so very humorous at times. So very.*takes the last drag of her clove and snuffs it out in the ash tray* *Kakkosen waits to make she she is actually done cackling*

I am certain Jallil Ayami would not do anything to harm Jallil Leko.... unless she were a serpent sweatdrop They seem to have somewhat of an understanding.

I think TES just has trust issues. *tips back another swig of the bottle*

Of course I have trust issues. I'm a rogue. Trust someone too easily and you'll wind up in jail or dead... or both. stare

You had such issues well before you became a rogue. *pats Tes' cheek*

Trusting the right person just might save your life one day but it has to be the right person

You can never really know who the "right person" is since a lot of people will very easily betray you if the reward was great enough, among any number of other reasons. Even those who like to think of themselves as selfless will betray you "for your own good" rolleyes For things of little consequence, sure it's fine to go ahead and trust someone since you wouldn't really be losing anything valuable if you made a bad decision, but for the most important things, it's best to only give the illusion of trust at most.

*eyebrow lifts a bit* If I did not know any better, I might be offended that you would only give me the "illusion" of trust.

I was just trying to make the point that Ayami is technically me... So I think it wold be more than reasonable to trust myself. I should be the right person for me to trust after all. But at least you got all that off your chest now*knocks back the bottle then notices it over half empty*

You can't always trust yourself. For instance... I don't trust Draa stare

I do not believe you should really use yourself as a model for how trust works, Quortek.

Maybe that just means you are by nature untrustworthy... Maybe others are not the real problem here TES.

tch stare While I can't say rogues are exactly the most trustworthy of people, that doesn't invalidate the fact that everyone else can be just as untrustworthy if not more so. At least with a rogue, you know ahead of time that they've got some shadey characteristics. Others will hide it.
