Unfortunately, the thing was unable to answer Lan due to a few sais sticking out of its body and the fact that it was dead.
Kane felt sick to his stomach from all of the movement and he let out small moans and started a feversh sweat. he could not even tell what was going on, but there was too much movement for his stomach to handle.

Lan left his snake like sai in the creature's body. He rushed over and picked up Kane putting his hand to his forhead. It felt far too hot. "You have a fever Kane. Lets get you back to bed" he said as he walked him back and put him into the bed again. To ease his sleep, Lan pulled out his guitar again and played for Kane to sleep http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHAcW5oLKJUAfter he finished the song he swung his guitar back and drew his sword. He sat on the bed and would not fall asleep.

Although Kane could feel something was wrong in his body, he felt reassured by the lilting sounds of a sweet melody. Turing over in the bed, he mumbled something under his breath before losing all consiousness again. This time his sleep was a little more peaceful, although he was still not all well.

Lan continued to sit on the bed. He couldn't help feeling that it was his fault that Kane was so sick. It was his claw. Thinking about how he could heal Kane, he knew what to do. He drew out his other sai and cut along the top of his wrist, not where the veins were but where it could draw blood. Gritting his teeth he made a 1.5 inch cut. He brought his wrist up to Kane's mouth and let the blood flow into his mouth. Lan's blood was an extreme antitoxin. A tear rolled down his face from the pain. As always with his sai, the cut suddenly and painfully turned into a snakelike shape. He gripped the sword and bedsheets tightly. "Feel better now. You will"

Lucca landed and hid his wings as he turned around and didin't saw either Lan or Kane "Well, they could have wait us" He said turning to Ryzil and lead him back to where they were before and looked the battlefield The couple where in "Why do you always get the fun to yourselves?" He joked as he mended The neko's wrist

"S....sometimes boring is good...avoids stuff like this" Lan said grunting in pain as he looked down at the snake like scar he had. He tilted his head and looked at Lucca "So how did you and Ryzil...?"

Ryzil sighed as he stood guard "im going to put a tracker on you two if you dont stay out of trouble" he deadpaned een though his eyes showeed concern

Lan looked up at Ryzil. Rubbing his snake scar he said to Ryzil "Thanks for your concern. Why do you cover up your emotions. You dont when you are with Lucca" he said smiling at him.

Lucca blushed "Hum...I guess I force him to" He said akwarly scratching the back of his head as he looked at the demon and blushed even more "Anyway...you two take care of yourselves! I'm not going to be around always, and aparentely someone is behind your backs"

Finally opening his eyes, Kane looked up at Lan. "Ah...what's," he looked down at Lan's wrist. "What hapened? What did I miss?" Pushing himself up so he was sitting, Kane leaned against Lan's shoulder. "Are you alright?" Kane was worried that something had happened while he was sleeping and wondered if it was his fault. 'I don't want him to get hurt for me...'

Lan saw that Kane had woken up and hurridly covered the scar with his hand. "N....nothing happened...d..did you sleep well?" he said, desperately trying to keep Kane from finding the scar.

Reaching over to Lan's hand, Kane weakly grabbed the hand hiding Lan's wrist. "Let me see," he said softly. "I want to see." He didn't know what Lan was trying to hide, but Kane was not one to let secrets go easily. If it was important enough to hide, it was worth knowing.

Lan closed his eyes and turned his head away. He let his covering hand fall away, revealing the intricate snake scar. A small tear ran down his face.

Kane put his hand on the back of Lan's neck and pecked him on the cheek. "Now," he said, still speaking softly, "Tell me what happened. If you don't tell me, how am I supposed to trust you?" Kane wanted the truth, and if Lan did not trust him not to freak out, then that would say a lot about him. With his head on Lan's shoulder, Kane held his hand.

Lan let the tear slide down his face and turned to face Kane. "N...neko blood is the strongets physical healing substance. You looked so troubled and pained that I....I," he said as he picked up his bloody sai and showed it to Kane. "....I cut myself and gave you some of my blood" he said as he cried a little. Resting his head on Kane, he let the tears come. "I love you too much" he said. He trusted Kane with all his heart.
