Genesis arrived at the dojo and immediately set about learning the weapon style. The first one was quiet simple to learn. He hefted his blade unto his shoulder and threw it upwards before bringing it down with a powerful vertical strike. When the blade his the ground the ground seemed to shake with the power behind the blow
Ju Suto [ Heavy Smash ]
This next one was a bit more complex to preform then the last one. He charged forward, dragging his blade behind him. He then pivoted and swung his blade. The radical horizontal slash that followed was amazing. So fast it was hard for even him to stop. Still, he was able to despite the weight of the sword and the speed of the strike
Soin [ Sweep ]
This next technique did not sound tough but seeing as, contrary to popular belief, he was not a Weapon Specialist he would have to work a bit harder on it. He read the scroll over and over again, for knowledge was they key to success when it came to the art of the blade. With a blade as big as this there was alot of room for harm, so he would have to just try alot harder then everyone else

Once he found that he could now recite the scroll word for word the decided to actually attempt the technique. He brought the pommel of his sword into his gut, making the sword tip point outwards horizontally. With a sudden lurch he thrusted outward, driving the point forward. However, when he did so he found that he couldn't stop and fell face forward

He studied his technique again and again until he found out what was going on with his center of gravity. He fixed his footing and adjusted his center until he felt he had it down. This time when he pushed his sword forward he was able to stop it in mid-air with arms outstretched"Yes! Finally, I got it down!"

This next one would be alot more productive then the last three have been. He could actually see him using this in future battles. Still, learning before trying. So pulled out the scroll and found the section where it detailed the technique he was going to learn. He read it over a couple times, then put it down and attempted it

He hefted the blade unto his shoulders in order to try to actually preform the technique. He slammed the blade down unto the ground with tremendous force, and although it was powerful, there was absolutely no chakra wave being shot out.

He practiced putting chakra into the blade over and over again until he had mastered the change in chakra form for his particular blade. It took a couple of hours but the next time he tried it he got it right. This time when he brought the blade down a small chakra wave was sent off in response

An eerie humming could be heard coming from Yuuto's direction as he made his way the academy. After he took the desired scrolls, the man made his way to an unoccupied training room to begin acquiring techniques. He began to read over the first technique, Shindan, before forming a clone and trying it on it. Once he figured out how it worked, he released the clone and moved to the next medical jutsu.
Shindan [Diagnosis] 1/1 Learned
First, Yuuto took out a kunai and made a small cut on his ankle. Next, he placed both hands over the cut before concentrating chakra to it and sending chakra to his hands. He knew that nothing would happen at first since this was his first time, but he wouldn't give up.
Chiyute no Jutsu: Karui [Healing Hands Technique: Minor] 1/3
The man focused once more on his hands, ignoring the slight burning from the cut. His chakra was emitted from his hands, but it wasn't yet the green healing type. He continued to relentlessly focus.
Chiyute no Jutsu: Karui [Healing Hands Technique: Minor] 2/3
After quite a bit of practicing, the healing chakra finally formed itself and healed the cut completely. The man smirked before calling back his chakra and making a small cut once more. He needed to retrain this technique in order to speed it up.
Chiyute no Jutsu: Karui [Healing Hands Technique: Minor] 3/3 Learned
So Yuuto allowed his chakra to travel to his hands once more, and increased the rate at which it did. He ignored the cut for now and instead focused on retraining the technique. This could heal many wounds quickly, so it was imperative that he retrain it.
Healing Hands Technique: Minor Retraining 1/4
The man's eyes narrowed. He didn't waste effort on feeling triumphant when his chakra increased at an exponential rate, and it had yet to continue growing. The speed at which he could heal was increasing, but he knew that it was just the beginning.
Healing Hands Technique: Minor Retraining 2/4
Yuuto continued focusing green chakra to his hands before practicing holding it there for however long he needed to. This was an ideal way to work on his stamina, so he practiced upon this before moving on to the final stage of the retraining.
Healing Hands Technique: Retraining 3/4
After now growing completely accustomed to the art of the technique and healing, he sent the chakra to his hands and hovered them over the cut, watching as it quickly healed up as if there hadn't been a cut to begin with. He smirked before moving on to the next medical technique.
Healing Hands Technique: Retraining 4/4 Learned
After he read over what the next technique consisted of, Yuuto first looked around the academy for a blank scroll before he would apply it to the technique. Since it was a very handy summoning technique, he first needed to read the scroll.
Kuchiyose: Eiseimono [Summon: Medical Tools] 1/3
For the starting point, he first drew the neccessary symbols on the scroll before inlacing his chakra into each one of them for simple medical tools. How did a simple Genin know how to do this, you ask? Yuuto smirked and continued to concentrate on the task of completing the scroll.
Kuchiyose: Eiseimoto [Summon: Medical Tools] 2/3
For the final step, he applied chakra to the scroll, causing a plume of smoke to appear. On the scroll now lay several medical tools such as scalpels, bandages, mortar, and pestle. Yuuto dispelled them back into the scroll to continue training the technique.
Kuchiyose: Eiseimoto [Summon: Medical Tools] 3/3 Learned
With retraining, Yuuto knew that he could summon even better and more lethal tools, for healing and for poisons. He once more began training on the technique and practicing with his chakra as he added more symbols to the scroll.

After completing a new set of symbols, Yuuto sent chakra to them, causing tools to yet again appear upon the scroll. This time, they were a bit more up class and specialized for poisons. Certain herbs and tools were present just for the poisons.

Yuuto released the technique before once more adding some symbols to the scroll page and summoning from it again. This time, even more potent herbs and tools had appeared. He would try once more to see just how far this could go.

For the final time, he added complex symbols and swirls around the other smaller symbols before putting the brush and ink back from where he found them and summoning the tools. After the smoke dissipated, tools and herbs for extremely deadly poisons lay in the scroll. His grin widened before he released the technique and put away the scroll in one of his pockets.

The next technique he would learn is a more advanced version of the Healing Hands Technique. For starters, Yuuto memorized the information given from the scroll before moving on to more hands-on portions of the techique.
Chiyute no Jutsu [Healing Hands Technique] 1/4
The man practiced on his chakra control before advancing to the actual healing parts of the technique. It was imperative that he master complete chakra control before moving on to the next stage since it could greatly help his overall performance.
Chiyute no Jutsu [Healing Hands Technique] 2/4
He continuously channeled chakra to his hands until the green healing chakra became thicker and more potent, able to heal more serious and bigger wounds than the Minor technique could.
Chiyute no Jutsu [Healing Hands Technique] 3/4
After his chakra control became much better, he pierced a kunai above his ankle and hissed at the necessary pain. He didn't enjoy this part of the training, but it wasn't like he could do this to others. He would immediately be punished. Focusing chakra to his hands, he watched as the deep cut was slowly healed.

But no, he had to continue training upon the technique, since it the healing time was so slow now! It had to be faster if he was going to be successful in what he wanted to become, a fearsome and powerful shinobi. Yuuto continued to focus upon the green chakra.
Healing Hands Technique Retraining 1/3
He carefully concentrated on the speed of the chakra and how it worked to mend the broken skin and speed up the cells in the process of healing. It would leave scars of course, but that didn't matter.
Healing Hands Technique Retraining 2/3
Yuuto continued to focus on the chakra and how the technique was formed before he completely mastered the speed and could now heal himself much quicker than he originally could. The man then moved on to the next technique.
Healing Hands Technique Retraining 3/3 Learned
The next jutsu served as both a healing and offensive attack, since it could be used for surgery or as a sort of sword. Yuuto first concentrated a strong aura of chakra to his left hand and wasn't surprised when it was quite difficult at first.
Chakra no Mesu [Chakra Scalpel] 1/4
However, he continued to relentlessly sent chakra to his hand and steadily form it into a blade. First it was shaky and not at all solid and reliable, but with practice he would be able to form a deadly blade.

The man continued to send chakra to his hand, showing no signs of exhaustion, before being able to at last form a successful blade. He lightly touched his arm to it and flinched. It worked perfectly! But it still wasn't complete since it was very small.

So Yuuto continued to focus chakra to the blade and compress it so it would be able to become as solid and sharp as it could get. With further practice, the man was finally able to master the technique, but still wasn't satisfied. The size of the blade was too unreliable, so it looked like he would have to retrain this technique to.
Chakra no Mesu [Chakra Scalpel] 4/4 Learned
Yuuto continued to send chakra to his hand after releasing the sword. He was careful to not form the scalpel yet, since he would now just focus on how the chakra was controlled and focused into the technique.

Since the size varied and wasn't at all stable, he knew that the problem laid in the chakra concentration. Yuuto focused upon this and slowly molded the chakra into a blade and steadily compacted it into a desired size.

It required a great deal of chakra control to do this, but luckily he wasn't lacking in that department. Yuuto sent a continuous stream of steady chakra into the blade to see how much it could extend.

After much training in this technique, he could tell that his efforts had paid off. The chakra scalpel was now extremely deadly since he could control the size at will at extend it as far as a normal katana would go, but cutting without breaking skin.

The next one would definitely benefit him when it came to physical extortion. He knew he didn't have any room to learn weapon or hand-to-hand techniques, so at least he had this technique to back him up.
Gouwan [Strong Arm] 1/2
Yuuto focused a specific amount of chakra to his fist before punching the ground, creating a small crater. He knew he couldn't make it bigger since it would damage the academy floor.

Nonetheless, Yuuto knew that he had to continue training on the technique so that he could increase it's power. He began to focus chakra into his fist and practice on controlling the amount that went to it.

After having mastered the chakra control needed for the technique, he punched the ground, which caused a small quake and damaged the ground around him. He inspected the damage and smirked.

The next technique would be simple because it was just like the previous, except it involved a kick rather than a punch. Yuuto focused on his chakra and stood still for a moment, concentrating.
Tsuuten Kyaku [Bruising Sky Leg] 1/2
After a few moments, he jumped up and swung his leg downwards, causing the ground to rumble and a large crater to form from his blow. He stood and calmed his chakra back down before moving to retrain the technique an even more devastating effect.
Tsuuten Kyaku [Bruising Sky Leg] 2/2 Learned
He mediated upon his chakra and how it was channeled to his legs. He pushed in downwards slightly before thickening it and sending it downwards to his legs and feet. Eventually, he focused it at very precise points on his foot where it would strike the ground.

After he did this, the man jumped up and held the chakra steady before swinging down and kicking the ground, hard. A large crater suddenly burst forth, and the entire ground of the academy and building around it shook, since the impact had gone so far as to form an earthquake.

Yuuto settled upon a final medical technique before would move on to other jutsu not pertaining to anything medical. He placed one hand over his arm and focused on the cells before starting to practice on the techique.
Kigusuri Souzou [Medicine Creation] 1/2
Not long after, he was able to manipulate certain cells into forming the desired medicine he wanted. A certain one sent a strange tingling sensation over his arm before he lost feeling to it, while others merely sent vitamins into his system. Yuuto stopped the technique and moved on to ninjutsu.

Genesis arrived at the dojo, immediately taking out his bloodline scroll and setting to work. Now that he was a chuunin he was permitted to tackle jutsu's that had previously been forbidden to him. These new powerful jutsu would serve him well in the future

This first jutsu would be the spearhead of his offense. He would be able to concentrate the White Lightning he produced into a refined blade in the palm of his hand. He could then slice and thrust with that blade, devastating anything that comes in front of him. He read the scroll that said all that multiple times until he was sure he could recite it if someone asked him for it

The next step after learning what it did would be learning how to preform it in the real world. Learning how to do something and actually doing something were two different things. He first built up a large amount of chakra into the palm of his hand, so much so that the chakra actually visibly manifested itself in his palm

After he built up the correct amount of chakra into his hand he attempted to infuse it with his own special blend of Raiton Chakra. As he attempted to small, white sparks seemed to dance around the palm of his hand. Sweat formed on his brow at the complexity this jutsu exhibited"Damn...this sure is hard"

It took a couple tries but eventually he was able to get it so that he could power and not only power but sustain the jutsu for a couple minutes at a time. The first time he succeeded in activating it he was nearly overwhelmed from the surge of power that hit him. The power seemed to radiate from his palm when he preformed it!

Time to get down to business. He activated the jutsu and charged the nearest steel dummy. As he neared it he let his hand shoot forward in a jabbing motion. The result was awesome. The steel dummy had been pierced through his chest. Genesis pulled his arm out of the gaping hole with a screeching noise. He then moved onto the next phase of his training, Kenjutsu

Genesis was not a born swordsmen, he had to try harder then anyone to achieve the same level of proficiency. That, added onto the weight of his sword made his a slow target in a Weapon Duel. Thats why he was eager to learn this first technique, it would change all of that

The Bakuyaku Ugoki [ Explosive Movement ] would allow him to zip across the battlefeild with previously unseen speed. His weapon would seem to no longer encumber him when he used this technique. That, combined with the long reach of his blade, would allow him to reacch out and touch someone who thought they were out of his range!

The first step in learning this jutsu would be learning how to actually build up the chakra in his legs which would allow him to attain this great burst of speed. It would be tricky for he had never used chakra to alter his speed or strength before. It took a couple tries but he felt he had gotten it down eventually

Okay now came the hard part, preforming it and training his reflexs to react to the increased speed. He started it off by putting the chakra into his legs, using it to increase his speed. He then grabbed the hilt of his blade and kicked off in a dash. He was supposed to sail past a dummy, cleaving it in two as he did so. Unfortunately he passed it up before he could react

This was especially difficult for him as he was not accustomed to being considered 'fast.' He decided to keep trying until he was sure he had it down. Eventually he succeeded in cleaving the dummy in two as he sailed past it, coming to a screeching halt about ten yards past the now cut in half dummy.

Lacie sighed as she entered the main training area of the village. She needed to learn a lot of techniques, so she might as well learn them now, so she pulled out the list the Yukikage gave her. The first one was rather easy and didn't really require much chakra, So Lacie began to practice hiding behind objects trying to make herself as less noticeable as possible by those who were in the training area. After a while of moving and hiding Lacie finally thought she had the technique down, so she moved on to the next one.
[ Bikou Ninjutsu (Shadowing Stealth Technique) learned]
For the next one Lacie had to tie her hands together with rope, this of course hurt cause she did it tight, but it was for training. Soon enough Lacie began to push chakra through the rope making it loosen its grip on her wrists. Eventually she managed to push enough chakra into it and the rope fell off of her hands. She smiled at this, then moved on to the next stared technique.
[ Kawanuke no Jutsu [ Escaping Skill ] learned]
For the next technique Lacie focused in on a bird and tried to send chakra through her eyes to the birds eyes. This went rather poorly for a while since the bird still moved around. But eventually the bird finally stopped moving and acted like it was paralyzed, unable to move from its position. After a few moments Lacie took her gaze off the bird and let it regain its movement. That technique was rather interesting, but she moved on to the next one.
[ Kanashibari no Jutsu [ Temporary Body Paralysis Technique ] learned]
For the last D-ranked technique Lacie summoned up a bit of chakra then tried to move quickly. Sadly she couldn't get herself to move fast enough to use the technique. But eventually she figured out that it was almost a pure chakra technique, so she focused her chakra then disappeared from the spot she was standing in, and re-appeared about five feet away. She smiled at how fast the technique made her, but she still moved on to the next skill.
[ Shunshin no Jutsu [ Body Flicker Technique ] learned]
Lacie Sighed as she decided to learn a Chuunin ranked technique now. This would be rather hard so she took a moment to gather her chakra and maintain it. Having enough chakra was important seeing as she didn't want to dip into her reserves right now. She didn't know how much the chuunin ranked technique would drain her, but she figured it would be a fun challenge.

Finally after a while of gathering chakra Lacie swept a hand forward and watched as a huge amount of crows were summoned right in front of her. She watched as the crowns moved around quickly swirling around her like a vortex, albeit one that could easily hide an ally. After a minute or two Lacie dismissed the crows and watched them all puff into smoke. She then moved on to the next technique.
[ 2/2 Sanzengarasu no Jutsu [ Scattering One Thousand Crows Technique ] learned]
This next technique would be rather hard since she didn't want to go touch a random stranger, so she took a moment to gather her chakra so she could touch herself. Having enough chakra was important seeing as she didn't want to dip into her reserves. She didn't know how much the technique would drain her, but she figured it would be a easy skill.

Finally Lacie stopped gathering chakra and touched her hand. She watched as her chakra moved outwards and formed a clone of herself. The clone smiled at her and preformed the basic Shunshin jutsu. Once the clone appeared again it dispersed in a poof of smoke, it didn't need to disperse but Lacie let it do so. She then moved on to another technique.
[ 2/2 Narikawari no Jutsu [ Change Technique ] learned]
Lacie sighed as she moved on to a B-ranked technique she really wanted to learn. This of course would drain her of a lot of chakra, so she went through the process of gathering her chakra back. She hated gathering so much chakra, but she would need it for such a high ranked technique.

Eventually Lacie had enough of gathering chakra so she formed the required hand sign and tried to make a shadow clone of herself. The clone sadly appeared with its arms missing and dispersed right after it was created. This made Lacie sad a bit, but she still tried the technique over and over again getting closer with each try.

Finally after about the tenth try Lacie managed to make a shadow clone of herself. At this point she felt rather drained of chakra, but with one look at the clone with her Sensor ability, she couldn't tell it apart from herself or the others in the area. This made Lacie feel accomplished, but before she could test the clones capabilities she made it disperse. What surprised her was that she gained the knowledge the clone had just learned from seeing her, this made Lacie smile, but she still moved on to another jutsu.
[3/3 Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [ Shadow Clone Technique ] learned]
Now for this next technique Lacie would have to rely on her Sensory abilities. She gathered chakra for the technique and practiced watching the people in the training area. To them it would seem like she was just standing still with her eyes closed, but to her she could see everything within a set radius.

Now Lacie focused her chakra outwards and tried to see things from a larger distance away. This put a lot of strain on her body, but she managed to see up to about a little over 100 yards away. This made her smile as she increased the distance to about a meter before having to stop and rest.

Now Lacie focused rather hard and upped her Sensory ability so she could easily see something that was 100 meters away. This of course put a huge strain on her body, but as soon as she reached her limit she stopped the technique by opening her eyes. She was glad she had increased her sensory ability as well, but she figured that she would only use this technique on recon missions. But she moved on to learn another technique from the list.
[3/3 Zetsu's Sensory Range Technique learned]
Lacie sighed as she decided to learn a technique that was not on the list but would be rather useful. She pulled out another piece of paper that had the technique written on it and began to read it while gathering chakra. This technique called for her to use her Sensory capabilities to their almost max.

Now Lacie closed her eyes and focused on everything within 60 yards. then she widened her view by one-hundred more meters like she had done before. Now Lacie tried sensing objects and people at an even wider range than her current max, pushing herself to go past her current limits.

Finally Lacie widened her range to its absolute max and Could see everything within a 10km distance. She was amazed at what she could see, especially since she could just about sense others emotions within her 10km radius. This made Lacie rather happy since she could now really be of use when on scouting missions with her Oinin/Anbu squad.
[3/3 Kagura Shingan [ Kagura Mind's Eye ] learned]
And now Lacie moved on to the last ninjutsu technique she could learn at her current level. She sighed as she read through the technique then proceeded to learn it. She first gathered up enough chakra into her hair making sure to add enough into it.

Now Lacie watched as her hair began to grow slowly, but soon grew faster and faster in length. She gathered chakra into her hair rather quickly letting it grown long and wild. Eventually it was down to her butt, but that wasnt long enough for the technique she had in mind.

Finally her hair engulfed her body and formed a protective dome around her. She felt as her hair became ridged and spiked as well. This dome of hair made her feel rather safe from almost everything. But eventually Lacie stopped the chakra flow to her hair and watched it suddenly shorten back into what its normal length was. Lacie smiled as she had finished all the Maruton techniques she could learn.

Lacie smiled as she finally headed back to the Yukikage's office to tell him of her progress and what she had just learned. She was tired from learning so many jutsu, but she felt pretty damn good.

❝As he was still within the academy walls, Izaya sat down on a nearby bench with a soft sigh, completely noticing that he had forgotten to hand the fliers out to the other Genin before they had left. He had more or less just sat there the entire time and decided not to attend the festival that he himself was charged with advertising. As far as he, and of course the Yukikage would be concerned, he had failed his mission beyond a shadow of doubt. Another sigh escaped the boy's lips as he stood from the bench which he had been sitting on for some time, making his way outside the academy and into the open air. He stretched all the laziness from his bones and willed himself to stay awake, though sleep threatened to eat him alive without relent. Looking out at the snow falling, just for the sake of doing something, Izaya noticed the once white layer segue to black and brown splotches where people had stepped on their way in, out and around the academy. As if just for spite to once white sheet, Izaya stooped down and gathered a ball of snow in his hand and played with it for a second before he threw it at a shadow in the distance. His aim was off by a lot, and the ball of snow went higher than he had expected and in a completely different direction than was intended. It went into the crown of a nearby tree and only seconds later, Izaya could hear slight chirping sounds not too far away. Out of the tree came a small blue bird, heading straight towards him at top speed. The anger in the bird's tiny feature's was unmistakable and he knew that he had gotten the creature wet, probably ruining its nest as well. It pecked at his head of white hair, mistaking it for the enemy that had attacked it only moments ago. No matter how much Izaya shooed the bird or attempted to swat it away, it all proved futile. He tried running, but a moving target only seemed to spur the bird into a fervent rage. It gave chase feverishly, leaving nothing for Izaya to do but run inside the academy, but there was no way to be sure that the little demon bird would not give chase. It was crazy, but a thought came to Izaya, that he could somehow appease the bird with his words. While shielding his face with hands, albeit poorly, Izaya reached for the familiar pool of chakra and allowed it to rush to his vocal cords, then he began to speak words of soothing to the creature. To Izaya's own ears, nothing had changed. His voice was the same as it had always been, but he could feel the pecking coming less and less until they finally stopped. While the words seemed unimpressive to Izaya, the bird heard a voice layered with what could only be described as magic, uttering reason, letting the bird know that all was well. The bird flew away, giving up on its home in the tree. Izaya watched it go and did the same moments later, noticing that he would have to face up to Keiji and report the failure of the simple task that he was sent to do.

By now the man had given up on upholding his humming, and instead occupied his thoughts on potentially useful techniques he could learn. Honestly, he felt rather apathetic now. Should he have picked another village? It seemed as if nothing of his interest was here, but he knew he needed to wait until he was higher rank until he could go on more exciting missions. Yuuto briefly glanced around the academy, his eyes landing on a white-haired boy some ways away before he went to pick up several genjustu scrolls.

❝Time went by and still nothing of interest had happened. Izaya was becoming quite discouraged, and would have gotten up and left if it wasn't for his determination to meet this other Genin. He had met only Hitomi so far who was of his bloodline, and couldn't possibly pass up the chance of meeting someone else. The Yukikage had alluded to the fact that this new Genin was indeed a male, and Izaya wondered now what he would be like. He had failed to hear everything that the Yukikage had said as soon as he found out that there was another, and now he wished that he hadn't. 'Well I'm sure I'll meet him soon enough to find out'. It was not too long after that Izaya felt a presence enter the academy, and he immediately looked up into the face of a boy in his late teens with long black hair. His face seemed calm and a slight smile was evident. Izaya didn't need any form of prior introduction to know that this was the boy he had been waiting to meet. He somehow just sensed it. Izaya wondered if he should just go up and introduce himself, but before he could get up to go forward, the other male's eyes landed on him for a split second before he went away to start gathering a few Genjutsu scrolls. A small grin crossed Izaya's features at that. Without further procrastination, he rose from the bench and went over to where the taller male stood, looking up at him with that same grin. "Hello," his feminine voice rang out from close by. "I am Izaya Toryo. I had heard from the Yukikage not too long ago that a new Genin with the Sakkakugan had been appointed to the village. Would that by any chance be you"? A gleam of knowing danced in his eyes, making it fairly obvious that he already knew that to be the truth.

Just as he had grasped the scrolls and begun to walk towards a potential training room, the white-haired boy he had caught sight of earlier approached him. A small smirk crossed his lips before he nodded slowly to Izaya, amusement glimmering in his eyes. "Maybe, maybe not. Who knows? You're a relative, Hm." He pressed his lips together, a habit he had when he was deep in thought, before grinning. 'Ah, so this village isn't so boring after all.' Now came the question of how far the boy was in his power. Yuuto had only recently activated it a few years back, but chose to first focus in the medical field before advancing in his bloodline. One could always fight with an advantage when knowing how the human body works, after all.
