Yuujinchou had no idea that Azreal was getting a shower... mainly because the man continued to sleep for quite some time.
However, before his Sacrifice could rejoin him, Jin's blue gaze opened and he focused on the ceiling.
A clap of thunder gave Jin enough of a sudden start that he sat up and looked out the window.
Still raining...
He took a moment to scan the room, noticing that Azreal wasn't present... and yet sensing that he wasn't far away. Not wanting to be a burden, Yuujinchou placed his feet on the floor and stood up.
The sudden dizziness subsided after a few moments as Jin focused himself, his target clear.
A target made even clearer when his stomach rumbled about as loudly as the thunder outside.
Wincing at the sound, more out of embarrassment than anything else, Yuujinchou headed into the kitchen, looking about for anything that he could eat that wouldn't be too terribly expensive.
All he could find was fruit... which wouldn't have been his first choice, but he took a pear and after removing it's anti-bruising packaging and washing it, took a bite.
Food was food... and it tasted great.
After all, the poor man hadn't eaten anything since breakfast the day before...
As Jin ate the pear, standing in the kitchen and leaning with the small of his back against the cabinet, he surveyed the room.
It was quite a bit bigger than his kitchen.

Everything that Kamiya Ryoji did, was done with precision and through a want to expend as little energy or time as possible.
So, while most students stood at their shoe lockers and gossiped about upcoming tests, grades, or who had just fallen in (or out) of love... Ryoji removed his shoes, placed them in his locker, put the slipper-like shoes on, and was already heading toward his first class by the time any student had even noticed he was there. He had even been able to store his previously rain soaked umbrella next to his shoes... after giving the umbrella a good shaking to dislodge any stubborn raindrops.
It was storming rather fiercely outside, after all.
In truth, Ryoji was looking forward to the upcoming class. Not because he had memorized the pages which his sensei had assigned, and not because he was confident that his grades would be, as usual, top of the class... but because he was finally going to put into action everything he had learned and knew thus far.
It was the first step to making Him turn that cold gaze his direction, and acknowledge the young man as a Sacrifice, and not as a weekend lover, for the first time since they had met.
Ryoji would finally be able to prove himself for the first time.
Pulling the sliding classroom door to the side and pushing his glasses up on his nose at the same time, Ryoji stepped into the classroom of Rauko-sensei and Azreal-sensei, and stopped for a moment to look at the desks.
It seemed that the present sensei was rearranging them.
"Sensei." Ryoji spoke, executing a perfect bow before placing his book bag on one of the desks up against the wall. "Do you require aid with the desks?" he asked, once more pushing his glasses up on his nose.

For a long moment, Ginyuushijin continued to watch Verin, studying the expression on the man's face, the glazed eyes of the time warp that the other man's mind seemed to fall into, and even the slight twitch.
Even after watching all of this... the man still didn't say anything.
He took in Verin's words, mulling over them as a slightly cocky smirk appear on his fair face.
Then he spoke.
"Isn't it nice to be different? To be rare?" Gin asked, though there was obvious sarcasm in his voice. "Especially when many would think it even nicer to belong?"
They were questions that he didn't think the other man would answer, and thus wasn't expecting a response.
But Gin fell silent...
Though, perhaps that silence was the only thing that prompted him to speak his mind in that next instant.
"If there are not many blanks in this world, Verin-san... why does your expression betray the hint that you might have found more than simply myself?" Ginyuushijin asked, cold eyes calculating as he spoke every word.

Smirking, Noriko let the subject of secrets drop and, instead, released her hold on Aza in order to stretch her arms up above her head and yawn.
"Good point." she replied, the words slightly distorted due to her yawn. "But it's raining outside so..." the woman glanced to the windows. "It wouldn't do you any good to train in the rain." her smirk turned to a playful smile. "Means we can sleep in."

When the door to the classroom opened, Rauko stood from the desk he was moving to look at the early student. A smile touched his lips as he noticed Ryoji there. Just the one he wanted to see. This one would be his own partner to day. That would leave a few other teams to fight against, but that would not be a problem.

"Good morning, Ryoji." Rauko stated, watching the perfect movement of the bow. Grace was always with this one, even in the simplest show of respect. Ryoji was one of the few students that Rauko liked. A strong kid, great at his classes, and a perfect Sacrifice. That was, without the coldness there. He was Ruthless, without a doubt. Even if Rauko had not had this student in his class, other teachers had talked about him many times before. Rauko had actually kept an eye on this one, ever since his brother picked up on the Sacrifice.

"A bit of help would be nice." Rauko stated with a smile. A cold and calculated kid that could possibly test Azreal's own strength. Yet, Rauko had yet to see this one in battle. "Do you have any questions on the work I assigned you?" Since no one was in the classroom, Rauko would gladly answer any questions prior to class. Especially if this one would be his own Sacrifice in this training fight.

"Which I why I plan on taking today off. This rain won't let up for at least another few good hours, and by then, the ground will be too wet to properly train." Aza stated, allowing a yawn herself. Sleeping during the day. It was necessary, but it went against everything that Aza was taught when a child.

Smiling, Aza stood before leading the way to the bedrooms. They were up the stairs, and thankfully two with a shower. A few other rooms were up there, spare rooms that seemed to be turned into something else. Indoor training rooms, one for physical and one for mental.

The silence from the other was a blessing. Verin would not answer any questions about his own dark past. He did not have to, either. Yet, it was the sign of the slightest weakness that had Verin slightly nervous afterwords. If Gin had any motives to destroy the king, it could have been delivered then. The show of trust, by not moving, was enough to make Verin smirk on the inside. Either it was trust or respect.

To be different, to be rare. Yes, that was something special, good or bad. To belong was a curse. It was a way to tie one's self to another, to split yourself up in a way. To be alone was a good thing. Yet, there was that sarcasm that made Verin smirk now. Verin did love Gin's attitude. There would be no need to answer such questions. Especially when the other wasn't seeking answers to these obvious questions.

Such questions like these did not need to be answered. Including the one that Gin just asked. "Yes, I have found a few others before. They have yet to last as long as you have. Blanks are a rare occasion which normally ends up driving them to be lonely. You, Ginyuushijin, just happen to be one of those few who are the best of both sides. No need for another." A perfect answer. Despite the want to be a Blank himself, Verin knew that he was marked when young. Thanks to the fire, it was easy to destroy that binding name. He made himself a Blank. It was this memory that he had just a bit ago, for it was a Blank who gave him the idea before her demise.

Once in the shower, Azreal found the tense muscles relaxing. He would need to get this off his mind. If they were going to attack, there was a chance that they would not attack just yet. They were waiting for something. In the past, they never attacked the pair directly. They were merely teams that wanted to test their skills. Last night, the clash began. Rauko wouldn't be attacked until he found his sacrifice. After that, the war might begin. That was, unless the darkness was waiting for the strongest moment in the brother's life. A true test of strength to see which group would reign dominate in this world.

"If that is so, we will need to train. If Brother finds his partner.. It probably would not be in the city like I did. He would find them at the school. That would mean two things. Either they would need training, or they will be ready for war. Jin.. He's still the weakest link, even if we can tap into that knowledge again.." Azreal was mumbling, voice taken away by the gentle sway of a piano. He had a shower in his own room, thus leaving the bathroom door open and playing music from the radio in his bedroom. A perfect way to relax when the rain and lightening from the vent window didn't.

Once done with the shower, Azreal dried his body before leaving the bathroom, drying his hair. Pulling on a new set of clothing, blue jeans and a white button up shirt, Azreal headed to the dresser drawer. Turning off the radio in front of the mirror, he headed out into the house.

Once in the main part of the house, Azreal blinked when he looked at the couch Jin was sleeping in. Where-? The smell of pear caught his attention before he chuckled. "Still hungry? I can make something up, if you wish." Azreal stated as he leaned against the door way to the kitchen, looking over his Fighter. He was still weak, but that weakness should go away soon.

Looking up, Yuujinchou smiled as his Sacrifice came into the kitchen. "Gomen nasai... I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast yesterday." his apology was more directed at having eaten the fruit than anything else. "And I didn't want to try and cook anything without your permission. I mean... well... it IS your kitchen."
Jin wouldn't have wanted someone in his kitchen without them asking first. Well... maybe if they were starving to death or something... but he figured being polite and asking would simply serve him better in the long run.
Then again, the more Yuujinchou thought about it, the more he wondered if he actually felt well enough to cook something.
Probably...
Maybe...
Hopefully?

Moving to the nearest of the desks that needed to be pulled aside, Ryoji placed his hands on the particleboard and pushed, the desk sliding easily across the floor and toward the wall.
"Not any that came to mind while reading." Ryoji replied, his violet gaze focusing on Rauko for a moment. "I made sure to study all of the pages you sent the text regarding. Most of it, committed to memory."
Ryoji had seen this teacher before, Rauko-sensei... and from what he gathered, the man was rather straightforward. This was something that, Ryoji was sad to say, was a quality that few teachers at the school seemed to possess.
Then he smirked ever so slightly, a movement that was barely noticeable. "I suppose that since you wanted me for a partner, Rauko-sensei... you have yet to find your own Sacrifice?"

Again, Ginyuushijin remained motionless, studying Verin and digesting his answer.
There were simply too many possibilities for the man to consider from that sentence.
It was obvious that blanks, especially a full blank like himself, needed no other because they could easily pick and choose who stood by them... and who was controlled by them. Gin could pick a sacrifice or a fighter, and from those two groups could pick the strongest of the lot...
However, this answer of Verin's seemed to point Gin in the direction to confirm one of his own suspicions regarding the mysterious man's past.
Verin was a blank.
How blank was unknown to Gin, and since Verin never talked about himself and had always avoided answering questions that could leak information... the man had spent a good deal of time getting used to dissecting Verin's answers.
Ginyuushijin smirked slightly as he sat up, no longer laying on his side and studying the man before him. "Blanks may not NEED another, Verin-san... but that does not mean that they don't WISH or WANT another." he winked, obviously saying that he himself drew pleasure from having another around.
Recently, that other had been Kamiya Ruoji... though if the boy refused to show any progress soon, Gin was going to be rethinking his seduction of the young man.

We care and act as we see fit, to show our careless wit
As Maki, Aya and Fuki waited for Rauko an Azreal-sensei to show, the three decided to walk around the school. Maki visiting her old teachers while the twins went off to grab something to eat from the cafeteria. Once the twins heard other students walking in, they went to find their sister. The three headed back to the classroom seeing that Rauko and someone else the twins didn't reconize show up.
Fuki walked over to where her an Aya's stuff was laying on the floor, picking it up placing it on the counter near the windows, getting it out of the way. "Need some more help sensei?" Fuki asked turning around to face him.

Unable to be fully found, Foundless in an never ending circle.

Maki leaned against the wall at the front of the classroom, watching as the classroom was rearranged for the battles that were too come. Maki closed her eyes, something about yesterday was bothering her, and she was determined to figure it out. It also felt like something...she didn't know, but something was going to happen. Maki waited until Rauko was finished with getting ready before she said anything.

We fall into slumber but are never graced with dreamed filled nights.

Rauko moved another desk, watching as it fell into place. They were half way done by now. It would leave more time for him to relax before class or refresh his own mind about what the books themselves said again. "I am glad. I had expected as much from you, Ryoji." Rauko's eyes trailed to the door, hearing even more students coming in. Well, this would be interesting.

Unlike many teachers, Rauko was lenient when it came to bowing. During fights, where his true power was, he expected at least some respect and would mention it to those who were in there with him. "Good morning. Help would be appreciated, Fuki." Rauko was glad he had a good memory of this group. A few of the others he might have a bit of problem remembering their names, yet it was expected.

Rauko turned his attention back to Ryoji, his hands moving another desk into place. This kid was smart and observant. He had guessed right without any help. Even if he did have a Sacrifice, he might had called on another student. It wasn't that rare to split up teams for the benefit of the group. "You are correct, Ryoji. I have yet to find my other half." There was no need to explain why his brother wasn't here today. If he would, he would explain when everyone was here, if he needed.

User Image
Aza chuckled as she watched Nori look into each room. "They came with the place." Master had also wanted to give her a place to train when weather was like this. Training indoors was how Aza first trained, and would still be training if she was back with her Master and not here.

User Image
Verin kept his face straight and calm. More than likely, Gin had broken apart what he had said and found the trace of Verin's past within what he had said. Verin enjoyed that from the other, even if his own past was being dissected. It meant that Gin had a calculating mind, a strategic mind at that. Many would think that Verin was a normal human that found this world and was using it to get what he wanted. Half of that was true, but Verin was born into this world and given the mark of a team.

Wishing and wanting for another? Maybe it was true. At times, Verin did miss the company of another, yet it was a weakness that hardly ever showed. If it did, he would be around his knight. "Wanting and needing are two different things. Yet, I wouldn't know those feelings or how bad they affect Blanks." A hint in the direction that Verin was human and not a Blank. Yet, it was also an attack on his own past. He enjoyed watching Gin's mind clicking. There was no sin on hinting at his past. Only few would discover the real parts, others falling for the lies that were weaved in there.

"My brother's kitchen, to be exact, but I understand your reasoning." Azreal stated as he entered the kitchen completely, heading for the fridge. Moving a few things around, Azreal pulled back. "What are you hungry for? I have a few traditional breakfasts and a few American styled meals." Eggs sounded good right now, yet it was up to Jin what they would be eating.
Glancing around the fridge again, Azreal pulled out a carton of orange juice. It was his favorite morning drink. His brother had tea, others had coffee, he had juice. Possibly a trait from when he was younger, or just the fact that he couldn't stand either coffee or the kind his brother drank.

We care and act as we see fit, to show our careless wit
Fuki an Aya chatted amongst themselves as they moved the desks. Fuki glanced at the purple haired man a few times, curious as to who he is, however she did feel something difference about his pressence than the others currently in the room. She shook the thought off focusing on her conversation.

Unable to be fully found, Foundless in an never ending circle.

Maki looked around the room, it didn't seem to change much from when she was a student. She eyed the twins, if she didn't know better, she wouldn't know that they were acting slightly different. She gave a sly smile, keeping it hidden. She was curious as to how these two would act in the battle.

We fall into slumber but are never graced with dreamed filled nights.

Aya looked around the room as he moved desks. Nothing seemed different, but something felt weird to him...off almost, like a tension that seems to be hanging around not just here but everywhere it seemed. He glanced at Fuki, knowing that she was feeling it as well, but kept it well hidden, both acting like they're oblivious to everything. He glanced at Maki leaning against the wall, it was evident, as she didn't hide anything that she felt something off. Aya was also curious as too how the asessment would be like, wondering if it would be like the training the two went under when they were younger.

"We fall into slumber but are never graced with dreamed filled nights."

Kino was in the garden of his grandparents house. He wasn't doing anything in particular, he was just thinking. Thinking of the name on his back and the person he would eventually meet with the same, just like hoow his parents meet. 'Dreamless..' He thought in his mind as he sighed lightly then went inside, picked up his bag and headed to school.

"We care and act as we see fit, to show our careless wit."

"Bye Mom!" Shun and Kiki said in unison as they ran side by side. They were excited for they were going to school today and felt a thrill as they usually did when they went to school together. Shun ran and ran until he reached the gates and smiled as he stared at the school for a minute then entered with his little sisiter; kiki.

Wandering back down the hall, Hisa’s arm’s incessant throbbing reminded her that she needed to check her injury. When she finally saw a sign for the women’s restroom ahead, she quickly made her way to the door and slipped inside. Undoing the bandage on her upper arm and probing it a little, Hisa found no sign of further damage. As she pulled her sleeve up higher to re-wrap her arm, Hisa paused. The throbbing was not coming from her arm as she originally had assumed, but from her shoulder.

Putting two fingers to her shoulder blade, it felt more like pulsing than throbbing. Hisa swiftly removed her fingers, glaring at her reflection in the mirror. “Relentless…” she growled, voice low. She hated the word emblazoned on her skin. It represented her selfishness, her selfish desire to live, when she should have never existed. Upset, Hisa violently re-bandaged her arm and left the restroom, slamming the door shut with a scowl on her face. She didn’t feel like exploring any more and barreled her way through the halls thick with students until she came to her first period classroom. She felt hesitant to enter.

User Image"Now now Princess. Alarm clocks take all the fun out of it." Siato grimaced and continued to pout as he sat on the bed once again. School would be starting in about 20 minutes and he still hadn't found any cloths to wear nor had he taken a shower. Thank god he kept his school books in his locker at school.

"You can wear some of my old stuff. I live rather close. Then you can shower and stuff too." Verikai suggested with a small shrug. Verikai wanted to go to his house? Well he did say it was close by...plus Saito was interested as to how the guy lived. It seemed as if Verikai knew everything about him, and yet Saito didn't really know anything about him. Not a very fair relationship if you asked him...but it was his fault to since he was too nervous to ask..

"I already got approval form the nurse for you to leave today. As long as you rest up tonight is letting you be checked out okay?"

"I'm being checked out? That's sudden." Saito said surprised. He hadn't expected to gain permission to leave...but he had forgotten that Verikai did have a connection to this hospital. He was a little nervous..that would mean he would have to go back home today...and he wasn't so sure he could handle that right now. Saito stared up at Verikai as his head was kissed. He didn't want to worry Verikai with his problems, so he would keep his thoughts to himself.

"Come now lets go before we go from fashionably late to really late." Saito noticed that verikai had aleady packed their things into his book bag, and was holding out his hand, waiting for him.

Saito smiled as he took Verikai's hand, his tail weaving happily from Side-To Side. "Yeah, I don't want to be late, especially on an important day like this." He said as the two left the hospital.

We care and act as we see fit, to show our careless wit.
As Fuki was finishing up with the desks, her chest suddenly started getting itchy slightly but turned into a very light pulsing. Placing her hand over her chest, she closed her eyes, almost going into a meditative state, as she opened her eyes, slightly wide. She glanced at Aya who was looking at her strangely. Fuki said nothing accepted nodd as if reading his mind. Fuki looked at Aya a bit more who seemed slightly irritated by something.

We fall into slumber but are never graced with dreamed filled nights.

Aya looked at his sister whens he suddenly stopped talking. He noticed her almost go into a meditative state, which she did to focus on a single thing, it was also evident on what she was thinking on by the scratching from earlier. As if she read his mind, she nodded. However, after Fuki's response, Aya also became itchy where is mark was. He noticed Fuki eyeing him, he also did nothing except nodd. Both of them starred at eachother, as they head for the door.

Unable to be fully found, Foundless in an never ending circle.

Maki eyed the two as they acted even more strange, going through the twin telepathy thing. As if done talking both of them headed for the door. "Where are you going?" she asked speaking for the first time since she arrived.

The twins didn't even glance, "bathroom" they both said as they started running when they were a good way from the door. They didn't even pay attention to where they were going until they ended up outside.

"We fall into slumber but are never graced with dreamed filled nights."

Kino walked in silence as he neared the school. He watched as students started to walk past him then stopped as he itched in between his shoulders, feeling a heat give off them as he turned his head to look at his back. After a moment, he turned and face forward as he continued to walk to the school, thinking of the events that will probably be ahead.

"We care and act as we see fit, to show our careless wit."

Shun yawned lightly, feeling a bit tired as he started to itch his neck a bit. "Is something wrong Shu-kun?" Kiki asked as she tilted her head. Shun looked at Kiki and shook his head as he smiled and ruffled her hair. "No Ki. I'm fine don't worry." He said as he continued to walk to the school as Kiki followed.

When Kino and Shun saw each other as they reached the gate, they stared at each other for a good long while then turned when they heard Fuki and Aya come outside and stared at them with the same thought in there head: 'Why..do they seem familiar..?'

We care and act as we see fit, to show our careless wit
Fuki looked up as she saw two people walking up, a boy and a girl. The two seemed familiar, as it finally registered. Middle school. "Shun-chan and Kin-chan." she murmered. As she said the names her mark resonated in slight pain pulsing. "Shun-chan, Kin-chan" Fuki said slightly louder this time waving.

We fall into slumber but are never graced with dreamed filled nights.

Aya starred at the two approaching the school, his mark pulsated more, but nothing like he saw from Fuki's expression, but he felt that the pulsing was getting gradually more evident. At the names Fuki mumbled, he looked at the other two in slight disbelief. Shun and Kino? Here?

Kino looked up when his name was called and tilted his head at Fuki for a moment then waved back as he remembered her. He nodded his head in greeting to Shun then went up to Fuki and Aya.

Shun tilted his head at Fuki and Aya then looked at Kino and nodded back. He then looked at Fuki again and tried to remmber her...then it dawned on him and he grinned as he waved back happily. "Hey Fuki!" He said as he ran up to her with Kiki close by his side.

Ruthless

Shuichi woke with a start and looked at his alarm clock. He swore to himself for sleeping through his alarm clock. He grabbed clothes at random and shoved them on. He grabbed his bag and was out the door as fast as his legs could carry him. He was just glad his foster parents had been more than happy to send him to a school far away from them but still he'd hear about in one form or another for being late on his first day of school.

He literally ran into the door to the classroom, forgetting to pause to open it. The door shook with the force of his body hitting it as he fumbled for the handle. He opened the door after a moment and bowed low to the teacher. "Sumimasen (sp?) Sensei." He handed his paper work to the teacher.
