"sat and relaxed?" gryphonmon interrupted.
"y-yeah. and this might be last time we get a chance to."
"whad'ya mean?"
"think about it. every tamer we've met, or seen, are doing something."
"so?"
"everyone, everywhere on this island, something is going on. somewhere, and everybody's dealing with it. everybody is busy. no time to relax."

there was a bit of silence before charie changed the subject. "I wonder if my family misses me." she closed her eyes. "I wonder if mom even realises I'm gone."

suddenly, gryphonmon yelped and jumped out of the water. "something bit me!" charie walked over, looked in the water, then walked back to gryphonmon. "I know what's wrong." she raised her foot, and brought it down hard on his tail. "oww...." the tail said. "don't bite gryphonmon."
