Well, Misa-without-Death-Note, when she's sweet and appreciative and smart enough to not need to ask questions about everything(Misa is very intelligent, as is Matsuda. They just aren't Near/L/Light supergenii level), but won't cause him to be paranoid.

Who was the first person to discover that Light was Kira? Misa was. She found out before L. So really, she isn't all that stupid. I admit that she don't have much of an active role later on in the series, but she's not dumb.

HOW then did Misa find out? She used the Shinigami eyes - that proves nothing of her intelligence. L had to use his brain, and he was closer than Misa EVER would have gotten if she has to user HER brain. mad

It would have to be someone as smart as him and someone he considers a friend. My thoughts go to Raito. BUT even if he did like someone he would never act on it. His focus would be his case and he would know that it's stupid to get involved romantically with his co workers and SUSPECTS. stare

You're the first one who's said that, so I'll admire your originality. But, I personally don't like them together because of the age difference.
