The Anne Rice wannabes need no comment, but everything since Polidori made vampires popular is just lame. There was a time when being a vampire would be a curse, but if vampires were anything like what people view them as now, there would be practically no reason not to be one. Immortality, super powers, unnatural charm, all at the cost of wearing sunscreen (or not even that, given the latest series). The more time that passes the less meaningful vampirism becomes. At this rate, in a few decades Kali could walk the earth and be viewed as nothing but a cheap gimmick. I thought she wasn't due for a long time. neutral I was going more for rhetorical effect than prophetic message.

all of you make very good points ! but you have left some thing out ! by even mention the "masquared" you have outed yourself rolleyes why because most people dont even know about the maquared unless somebody tells them an whilest that there are many different types of vampire you forgot that there are subculters of vampire meaning people that have more than one way of doing thing i belive the term would be monopoly here ill give you an example such as a sang that also can use sangun with is blood drinking as apposited to takeing enegery ! there are also these types of vampires as well there are more than that but i cant think of them right now. also to clear something up yes VAMPIRES ARE REAL ! but not in the way that the movies make them out to be here a list of the misconsition of vampire .and dont belive eveything you hear and or see ! you need to lean what is conpleate and urter bullshit and whats is fact !
