I've never gotten caught, but my parents wouldn't give a hoot anyway...xD
My father bought me "Eerie Queery" at the bookstore...xD...and my youngest brother is bi. My little sister is creeped out by it though (whenever I mention a pairing...><; ). My twin will say something, just a small comment, and then leave me alone...xD
My family just doesn't give a darn, as long as I'm not doing drugs, drinking, and/or having a sexual relationship (they don't have to worry about the last one really...^^; ).
lucky you. i bought a yaoi manga and i had to hide it from my dad. >.>

Heh.... I'm an only child, but I have an annoying cousin that lives near me to deal with. She's 2 years younger, and I know she's not gonna grow up to be a hard-core yaoi fan. Or even a fluffy shonen-ai fan. Whenever she sees pictures of it, she gets this weird look... I've given up on the *click* "OMG YAOI!" thing happening with her. So I've just started hiding it. And uhhh... this happened the other day.

Her: *grabs Mp3 player* I want to look at your pictures! *gets weird look*
Me: *grabs it back before she can open the "yaoi" folder (hey, you never know when it might come in handy)* No!
Her: Why not?
Me: .....Because.

Okay, one day, I was watching an episode of Loveless on Youtube, and my little sister walked into the room just as Soubi kissed Ritsuka, she turned around and yelled, quite loudly, "MOM!!! SAM'S LOOKING AT TWO GUYS MAKING OUT!!!!" (Sam's my name) I got banned from the computer for a week, and now, when ever I read BL or Watch BL, I have to make sure my sister isn't home, or else, I might get grounded again. *Is only 13*

Anyone else have siblings that like to destroy you're BL and Yaoi watching habits?
my sister almost walked in when i was watching sensitive pornograph eek whee . i can hardly watch or read any yaoi in my house. when i watch BBM i was labeled Lesbo by my sister gonk

when i watched SP for the first time....I had it on LOUD. so when my parents came home... I immediately lowered the volume to extremely low....oh god. it was a close one (my house is very acoustic you can hear everythingggg. >.>)
Whe it was time for dinner I paused the video player and came back after dinner.

my sister was home and she kept passing by the computer room.... gonk

I thought I would never finish watching it...but I did. 3nodding

I'm 16. I have a 15 and a 3 year old brother. My parents know I like yaoi because my Uncle (who is gay) so kindly announced it 3 years ago. They don't know to the great extent of what I look at, and my 15 year old bro doesn't care. They know about my Loveless and Gravitation stuff, but not of anything more, um, higher up, than that.

If my dad looked at the doujinshi and some anime I have on my computer, I'd either be grounded for life or my parents would be REALLY disturbed.

Haha.
I think my computer would get taken anyway.
And I would be sent into rehab if my parents found my DJ's.
x_______x
I mean, have you SEEN the Gravitation Remixes and Megamixes?
*droolspasmnosebleed*
xoxoxo 'sewaa

I have read them wink and I"d have to say wow....they pair EVERYONE up in them! xd lol ( alos I don't have the problem of younger siblings as I am the youngest at 16 3nodding )

The saddest part about me having these scanned on my computer is that said comp faces the door. I was reading on of the Remixes (thank God it wasn't a Mexamix! xd ) and my Dad walked into my room with out knocking (as usual).

I closed the screen with the Remix on it, but I know my dad saw it. Because he said "You know what? I'll just ask your brother.....". And said brother knows about them.

Lucky for me all he told dad was that I was insane and never to look at my computer if he wanted to keep his eyes intact. I love my brother He doesn't care about yaoi. In fact, he's been in the room while I look at the stuff and doesn't say anything.

Lol.

Well, let's see. One brother would be disturbed, but would decide telling Mum wasn't worth the trouble of putting down the latest in the Redwall series, one is a homophobe who would tell quicker than you could say "Shuichi Shindou" and the little sister... will be corrupted. Oh yes. Mum would give out serious talking. Dad would be like... "That's a pretty girl. Good to see at least some flat-chested ones in these manga." LOL.

xD SP...on LOUD!? Ever heard of headphones? I use headphones even when my parent's aren't home... and I've learnt to clickly close my windows... e.e I don't want them to think I'm perverted.
My siblings don't know a thing, luckily. I don't think the youngest brother would be a problem, but my other little brother would tell EVERYONE. He's the type of person who uses the word "gay" "f*****t" etc WAY too much. I hate it, it's SO disrespectful! scream

... and about BBM labeling you lesbian? That is just weird. Watching a lesbian movie could make people SUSPECT it. But even if you did see a lesbian movie, it wouldn't mean you ARE a lesbian, just a romance fan ^^

I discovered my little brother's porn long before he discovered my yaoi. sweatdrop He's only 15 months younger than me, though. We just try to respect each other's privacy....and if I happen to find some.....certain videos of his, or vise versa for me, we just pretend we never saw anything. redface I'm glad we're pretty close in age, it makes these things easier.

I was showing my iPod to a little girl who used to be my neighbor (I adore her, she's SO cute! >w< ) and I had some AMVs on there... as well as yaoi anime. So when i'm scrolling down to find a child-friendly AMV, she points to everyone's favorite Yaoi AMV (Shuichi's question- you know, the one with "what's this?" by danny elfman? ) And she's like
" wanna see that.. su...chi?"
And I panicked and came up with the genious excuse "eeeeeh... don't watch that, it's got, um... a bad song... sweatdrop "
I got away... but DAMN it was close.

mistress of yaoi

i'm allowered to watch yaoi on the comp, but my mum kinda thinks yaoi is nothing more than stuff like boys kissing and hugging. She thinjks that cause she caught me watching Gakuen Heaven a few months ago.

But if she knew i watched stuff like Sensitive pornograph and Ai No Kusabi, i would be in so much trouble.

plus i have the SP manga, which is alot more explicit than the anime.

Hopefully though i will be getting my laptop soon, then i can save all the yaoi i want ^_^

I don't have younger siblings but I have two older ones. Whenever my oldest brother is around I have to be careful 'cause he'll freak out. Luckly he doesn't live at home. My dad doesn't know I read or watch yaoi and I hope he never finds out 'cause he WILL freak out. So whenever I read yaoi I read the more graphic ones in my room. I won't watch yaoi unless he's not around for fear of getting caught. sweatdrop

I don't have nay younger siblings but here' s a fun story.
Ahem...it was this summer and my cousins came from British Columbia. It was at night and I was getting back into Sukisho and happened upon a nice story. I go off to hook up the game system to the TV and my 13-year-old cousin looks at the screen and says out loud, "This guy is sucking what?!?!"
Now I didn't even get to read what the story said but I just left the room. So for the next two days, my cousins start snickering and saying "sucking" and "I' gonna tell your mom". I sorta semi threatened them and acted like it didn't bother me too much and just played along with their banter until they left. Yup, completely ignoring the subject and changing the subject if it ever nears it is what keeps the world turning. Sigh...glad I let that one out...

I have an idea for you that should help you out. Go to wal-mart and get a 3 drawer cart from sterilite it has just three drawers that move. Use that to store your manga so that your little sister wont find the books you like to read. I have one in my room that my mom gave me and I use it for my Yaoi and Boys Love manga so that my little niece doesnt find the books I like to read. It is also useful to help keep your journals and diaries safe too. I hope this helps?
