Kobalt93 That is NOT true at all!!! Cutting is often seen when people are sad and depressed. Emo > Emotive > Really happy or really sadReally sad: Cutting can be an option to not think about your sadness This is prooved scientificly!!!

emo dose not mean you have to cut yourself people at my school said i and my bestfreind cut because we are emo i dont know what i am but what i do know is if im SO emo i dont cut i fact i dont have a scarcth anywhere on myself so not emos dont always cut

Not all Emo's cut themselves. It's a stupid misconception, and it looks like I'm not the only one who gets pissed off when others say all Emos cut.

just because somebody cuts themselves it doesnt make them emo. i am an emo and i have never cut myself.. on purpose. and it makes me sooo mad that people sterotype emos with cutting i think its stupid.

That's what emo has turned into, unfortunately.
Emos and cutters are different, dammit! D<
I consider myself emo because I wear dark clothes, I listen to emo music, and I'm laid back. I get a little depressed sometimes. Everyone does. That's my definition.
