The only Welsh bands I can think of are Lost Prophets, Goldie Lookin Chain, Stereophincs and Joss Stone. And one who I heard on the radio thats quite new and is good. But I can't remember it's name.

I get the origins of Stereophonics and Coldplay mixed up. Since they both have very good tracks, both seem to have been around for yonks in my years, and both seem to consist of people of the same ages.

Ooh Super Furry Animals came from Wales?.

I think Bullet for my Valentine came from Wales too. But I might be getting muddled up with Funeral for a Friend.

Of Course, that great band The Alarm came from Wales.
I was born in Newport.
Did you know that Wales didn`t have a national flag until the 1960`s?

Really?

Oh. That, I had no idea about. Why did they choose what they did?

The flag comes from Myth, Merddyn had a vision of two Dragons fighting the Red dragon (The native Brits) eventually saw off the White dragon (In vading Germans)
there`s much occult muttering about Dragon being a powerful celtic totem spirit too.

Llangothlen (I apologise for the horrible spelling) because the book shop there is magnificent.
I love that bookshop! Spent many an hour in the Shakespeare section. I bought a really cool book of The Tempest there (it's spelt Llangollen, I believe, if you were wondering.) I personally have very little experience of South Wales but I've spent a lot of time in North Wales because my mum comes from Llandudno and my auntie lives in Snowdonia 3nodding I've always liked it there. I was told that Joss Stone's from Devon... she certainly doesnt have an accent that remotely resembles a Welsh one... and yeah, Bullet For My Valentine are Welsh 3nodding

I have to mention Tom Jones - he comes from a town about 15 minutes walk from where I'm living at the moment.

Pontypridd. Also home to the Lostprophets, and Funeral for a Friend.

But it does have a good side too! Like the... erm... well, the train platform's really long... longest in Europe, apparently. And that's about it.
