eek There are just as many crazy Brits out there. It's just that Americans usually don't have the manners to hide their insanity. *agreement* Thank the unbelieveable British manners for that one. Trust me, there are just as many (percentage wise) religious nutters in the UK as there are in America, I've had enough abuse hurled at me to know so (Satan's b***h/whore among others) though, I have to admit the America does seem to produce it's own very....special and unique type of bigot. Be proud to be American! You have interesting specimins of hate! xd

Whoa. I'm hoping this is a parody site.
It's hard to say what offends me most. The treatment of the depressed isn't the only offense to human decency on this site and it's probably not the worst one either, but it's what I know the most about and I feel like ranting at it. Earth to bigots: Self-harmers don't do it because they think it's right. They do it because they're desperate to distract themselves from hopelessness so intense that it drives them to thoughts of suicide. If you've got a biochemical malfunction and no meds to help it, sometimes the only choice is between self harm and DEATH. And let me tell you, being the victim of satanist stigma doesn't help. If the people who write this s**t were forced to deal with a mental illness, there's no way in HELL they wouldn't cut themselves.
But in a way, that's beside the point. The point here is that they're equating depression with gothdom. Plenty of goths aren't depressed and most depressed people aren't goth. The same goes for all the other groups they're ragging on... wiccans, satanists, strumpets, etc. etc.

Lady Detarra For frell sake! I am so tired of getting thrown into the same category as satanists! I'm not wiccan but i am a witch (yes there is a difference) and its really getting old! If they would just do a little research they would learn that we don't even believe in satan so how can we worship him! sorry i'm sure you have all heard rants like that before...just..couldn't stop it haha I feel your pain! I'm Pagan and I'm sick of people thinking I'm evil, or that my religion has anything to do with the fact that I'm goth.

This is both pathetic and amusing. lol, well someone once called me a "fluff-bunny" for thinking that was what Wicca was. Gee, I guess every book and website about Wicca I've ever read has been wrong . . .

For as ignorant as christians can be, it seems as though they either hired somone to do it for them* or they have a nerd among their numbers.
*I doubt this, because if they had outside help to put up the website, you would think that the outside person would at least have the decentcy to spell check...

I was looking at that two nights ago with my nurse and the two of us were laughing our heads off. We're both Catholic and go to the same church, and both admit that there are some crazy close minded people in our religion. (like all religions, we have our extremists) but that doesn't count for the religion as a whole. I don't even think that Jesus was aiming at creating a new religion, only to fix the flows in his own and to bring the people closer to God. He excepted people of other religions, prostitutes, robbers, tax collectors. If they were good people, if they were truly sorry for thier sins, he held nothing against them.DR490N ... the funny thing is that christians used to be the ones victimized by the romans, until the romans adopted their religion and began spreading it by force or military brainwashing throughout the empire. since then, christians have more or less attacked everyone else, including each other.

Freedom Fire I feel your pain! I'm Pagan and I'm sick of people thinking I'm evil, or that my religion has anything to do with the fact that I'm goth. Oh hell yeah. I'm pagan too. I'm not very blatant about it and I've never been called a Satanist personally, but it hurts to see us lumped in with those people. Sure, not all Satanists are nasty or evil, but no one likes to be taken for something they're not.

Orange81 ...It seems likely that it is a joke... The more I look at the page and it's links, the more that I think it's a joke as well. Particularly when you examine the diction. Even insane far-right traditionalists wouldn't make a t-shirt that reads "Goths are ******** cunts".

Also, as long as nobody is obnoxious about it... socialist-progressives in America tend to be pretentious jerks (at least the ones with the loudest voices are).
