emo is a stereotype. i know youre gonna say its a music genre,but its a stereotype as well.it has become one.
and Chi-Shihan Kei Kakuhan is right....kinda.

but you shoulnt generaloze all emos that way.only some are poseurs so dont hate us all |

It's not a fad, it's not a stereotype and it's not a mindset.
Emo has never been popular, when was the last time you saw someone wearing a Moss Icon shirt or quoting Rites of Spring lyrics as their msn name?
It's not a stereotype because swishy hair, girls pants and makeup were never part of Emo, so calling someone Emo because of those has no validity.
It's not a mindset because it's music, it always has been music and always will be music.
You think it's all these things because you believe when people say Silverstein are Emo and whatever you read in Rolling Stone. |

I would but don't want too, otherwise what would've been the point of buying the place. I like the guild, i like some of the old members who are comming back. Doesn't nessacerily mean I like the style, fashion or attitude. |
