For the Egyptian theme, The Egypt Game by Zilpha Keatley Snyder is a very good story for when you're in the mood for a light read. The book is aimed at readers aged 8 to 12.

Thanks smile I did like The Ladies of Grace Adieu

You look like you can handle some serious reading, so I'll recommend The Children of Hurin by JRR Tolkien

You look like the dramatic fantasy type. I'd recommend Zel by Donna Jo Napoli. It's a different take on Rapunzel that is beautifully written.

I recommend Faerie Wars because there are cats in it.

You have a very cool, urban look. I'd suggest the Charles de Lint anthology Waifs and Strays.

With the black outfit and grad cap and red hair, I would suggest Harry Potter book seven since they'll probably graduate in that one (or they would if they went to school; same difference)

Your present look (haha, no pun intended) suggests holiday stories, so my suggestion is Gabriel's Magic Ornament.

"The Left Hand of Darkness" by Ursula K. LeGuin cuts across many artificial cultural boundaries.
