Read an article and I found it to be somewhat true, said "People get in the gothic scene mostly because they've be spurned by society and found this subculture more accepting than any other. People in the gothic subculture tend to be more open and unafraid of who they are because others in the gothic scene are more understanding." Love how they kept calling it a subculture ^.^

Mostly true, but the "kiss my a** and ******** off" thing is more along the lines of punk than goth (though the latter came from the former)

Weither your Goth, Prep, Jock, Punk etc...... dosent matter, ppl should accept and be proud who they are and strive to be the best they can in the way that suites them.

You are or are not. You shouldn't feel cursed if you are, or left out if you aren't. You shouldn't feel exceptional or lucky if you are, or thankful if you aren't.
