But it's his choice. He hated glasses and wanted lasik eye surgery.. D:

He lost the glasses and dyed his hair to leave his old self in the past. It was about his break down he had while working on The Black Parade.

There's a three page article in Blender magazine and an article about it in AP magazine. sweatdrop

To me, it doesn't matter. Its his choice, he is his own person and no one owns him so he can do whatever he wants. If he wanted to cover his body in tattoos/ pierce up his face or whatever its what he wants to do.
