Jessie speaks out about Nick...again.

Pop star Jessica Simpson wants to make it perfectly clear that her new album "A Public Affair" has nothing to do with her breakup with ex - husband, Nick Lachey.

Instead, she says the record is about her partying with friends and moving on with her life. She does admit, though, that there's one song on the CD entitled "Let Him Fly" that made her and younger sister Ashlee Simpson cry when the marriage was almost over.

Public representatives of both Simpson and Lachey say they are still "good friends." rolleyes

Plot:

New Dancing With the Stars Contestants

The new season of Dancing With the Stars premieres on ABC on Tuesday, September 12th. The show's new contestants include talk show host Jerry Springer, reality TV star Shanna Moakler, actor Mario Lopez from the 1990s teen sitcom Saved by the Bell, NFL superstar Emmitt Smith, actress Vivica A. Fox from Kill Bill and Independence Day, Monique Coleman from the Disney Channel's hit TV movie High School Musical, and singer Willa Ford, famous for her song "I Wanna Be Bad."

Richards and Sheen divorce is final

In a recent court appearance, Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen finalized their marriage and decided which of them would receive custody of their kids. After three years together, the couple filed for divorce. Richards claimed that Sheen had physically attacked and threatened her and her parents. Sheen denied all the claims.

Sheen is to stay at least 300 feet away from Richards and their children Sam, who is two - years - old, and Lola, who is 11 - months - old. He is only allowed to be near them during highly monitored visits.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Help the Elderly

On Saturday night, Cruise and Holmes were on their way home from Salt Lake City. They had been there to cheer on British soccer star and close friend David Beckham at one of his games. The couple stopped by the side of the road when they saw a car crash. The accident's victims, Mr. and Mrs. Henningsen, were not seriously injured, but Cruise and Holmes chose to stay and comfort them until police officers and fire fighters arrived at the scene.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline (or K - Fed as he likes to be called nowadays xd ) are expecting their second child together this fall. Spears is currently eight months pregnant.

The 24 - year - old admits she and her husband hadn't planned to have a second child so soon, "it just kind of happened." The news of the pregnancy has come as a shock to many people, since the couple's first child, Sean Preston, is only 11 - months - old and was born last September.

Spears has gained 40 pounds since her first pregnancy and plans to diet and hit the gym after she has the baby via Caesarean birth. No news yet as to the infant's gender.

Britney says she often has cravings and enjoys sneaking down to the kitchen late at night to melt Hershey's chocolate bars in the microwave and eating them.
