I tend to wear it in whatever way obtains the most "holy damn" reactions. Usually that's a lot of black a-la the darker edge of Visual Kei.
I never smear it because I suck at that, I end up making it fade away.

musicbabe02 My mom alway's says it's tacky and weird but it's not that bad i once got suspened for wearing my eye liner in a "not appropriate" way stupid teachers....Share your info on this subject

I rarely wear eye-liner when I do, I love the looks on people faces, it priceless and what they say to me is even better. I dont think smearing it is all that tackey. Then again I'm not someone that really cares about setting a fashion trend.

Smeared eyeliner now a days is popular if you were to really think about it. I personally think smeared eyeliner is hot.

Personally, I don't care, but if you do smear your eyeliner, be subtle about it. Eyeliner is meant to be bold. And never smear liquid eyeliner, it gets freakin' everywhere.
