My parents speak Lao to me
most of the time, I mostly speak English to
them.The only time I really speak Lao is when I'm

Well, same for me . English with my siblings and Chinese with my parents . My parents want me to speak Chinese with them and maybe learn some Manderin . (I think thats how you spell it ..) but sometimes I speak English with them because I dont know how to say the Chinese word . xD

hmm half english, half cantonese. literally.
i speak in cantonese until i dont know a
word and say like one or two words in english,
then i go back to cantonese. vice versa.

For me its probably Chinese. (Cantonese) That's usuaully with my parents but english with my siblings.

I speak the Shanghai dialect normally, occasionally I´ll speak some Mando or English, but my grandsparents only speak Shanghainese so yeah.

I speak mostly mandrin to my parents, but shanghainese to my brother... since mandrin is more polite. Or so my parents say.
