Asian Failing

Well, that happens to me too since I'm on scholarship so I have to get good grades. Just try harder. Study more. If you still have the same results, then tell your parents that it's the best you can do. Just try your best. It's not the end of the world. I know somebody who get screamed at if they score lower than 95 on a test.

i havent "asian failed" since 5th grade... but now my mom gets mad when i get anythin below a 95... not fair...

Yep my mom freaked when I got a b+ on my progress report but i brought it up to an A- phew >.>'

my parents will not be mad 'cause i have a C..but i considered under 80%, it's fail...so..well, I become mad...not my parents... stare

im a c student...but my parents never got onto me...who is all my asian bors and sis are talking about geetting in trouble for grades and i never can relate?

my mom pushes me to do better until my Knowledge can't take it anymore...& i forget everything

eek oookay..... that is something you and a mental health professional should really discuss....

My parents are like the whole "asian fail" thing too!
If i get C's my mom and dad act like it's the end of the world.
I've never gotten a D....*shivers at the thought*
But i didn't get C's until I started getting really crappy teachers.
I got straight A's in Calculus for a school year, passed my japanese classes with A's (these are college classes, they don't teach Japanese at my high school), and I passed chemistry with B's. (that upset them).
So, they can't complain. I do well exactly where it counts 3nodding

My parents only get mad if like I get a D or an F. But I have straight A's either way. But I have had my share of not so good test scores with like C's or B's in History. Man they got mad at that. But in the end it's the final grade and if I was "doing my best"

i hate skool my parents yell at me for hours and make me study the dictionary in my room (not like i actually do it im probably drawing instead) lol but im pretty good in school straight As with a b here or there but over all im good

my parents do go stricked if i fail. first off they would be like. how come you got this mark? and if i don't have a good excuse the'll spazz and everything. but if i got a good excuse they would just say try harder next time.
