The church isn't all about money. The Catholic church, yeah. But that's because they don't follow the Bible as it's written. EXCUSE ME? Pardon my language, but that is bullshit. I am very offended that someone would have the gall to say that. I'm Catholic, and I go to a Catholic Church, and we are NOT all about money. And how in the Hell can you say that we don't follow the Bible as it's written? Have you attended a Catholic church, praytell? Yes, Goths should be allowed to attend church. It's not a religion, persay, so I can't see a reason why we shouldn't. I'm Catholic and Gothic; I've not been thrown out of my church.
In any case I apologise for that.
But I have issues with the Catholic church that I shouldn't have taken out with that post.

Again I apologise. I am sorry for losing my temper. I also should not have done that. Apologies. It's just people say all the time that the Catholic Church is all about money, and that we don't follow the Bible as written. It gets a bit aggravating after a while, because it's just not true. There ain't nothing wrong with going to church and being a goth. Heck, there's even a guild on Gaia which my mate is in called "Christian Gothic". Shall I tell you what my mate's name is? Can't guess? His name is Christian. lol

noooooo! Goths in church are a baaaad idea. You not only feel out of place, but you make other people feel uncomfortable as well.

Sure its ok. Goth isn't a religion. In fact, I go to church. Sometimes twice a week because I go with my boyfriend to his catholic mass, but I like my church too (a vineyard church). I appreciate that no one looks down on me because of my strange attire. Discriminating churches piss me off tho because that goes against what they claim to beleive.

FakeSoul noooooo! Goths in church are a baaaad idea. You not only feel out of place, but you make other people feel uncomfortable as well. This really isn't true at all. If you really feel uncomfortable, it's because of personal insecurities. Goth isn't a religion, it's a music-based culture. A goth can be part of any religion and still be part of the music based culture.

You think we'll just walk in and spontaeneously explode into a firey inferno? Or a giant bolt of lightening come down upon us? Actually, there are more christian Goths out there than you think.

DehShadow-ness i go to church to scare people. some yell 'let the lord back into your heart' and im like 'ummm... no' its pretty funny. i go and look and scary with all black dark purple lipstick, black and purple eyeshadow, heavy eyeliner, the works. its just too funny to not do. mrgreen rofl no offence but thats the stupidest thing i ever heard/read honestly why would you go around "scaring" ppl at a church you're only making yourself and the community look stupid

My firend went to church once in Tripp pants,gauntlets,and a H.I,M shirt as soon as he walked in the door, the priest threw holy water on him and then kicked him out.

Going to church is fine, if you're into that sort to thing. Nothing wrong with it. However, writing gothic poetry about Jesus is not fine, no matter what you're into smile
