Blondie667 I sort-of got crap at my old High school in Roseville, CA. Then I moved to a small town and only the "emo" kids knew who MCR were. After Helena and Ghost of you though more people knew who they are and I don't get as much s**t now except from the kids who listen to rap and stuff. A few people call me "emo", but I don't let it get to me beacause I wear all sorts of colors depending on my mood. I'm moving to a small town with two-hundred and fifty people, don't think there ARE any emos. XD I mostly get called a lesbian and a f** (everybody at my school is somehow gay or a f**, it makes no sense, they're using it as an insult, but everybody has been called it at one time or another), but that was mostly last year, not so much this year. I really don't give a s**t what they think anymore. Gah. Homephobia is Gay. ninja

I am all the time, but i dont care anymore, I wear my MCR shirt proudly
and i dont care what they think of me, i have better taste in music then they do any way. And when they call me a f**, i repliey,
"You know, at least im comfortable enough in my straitness that im not afraid to say that my hero just so happens to be bi, GO FRANK!!!!"

a few of my friends listen to mcr.most don't.keep in mind i don't have many friends.but for the most part i don't get made fun of.

At my school, everyone's into country, and I hate it. No one really knows about MCR that much, but there a select few who do and are fans.
And there are some people who are like, "Why are you wearing a My Chemical Romance shirt? They suck."
But I really don't care. It just bothers me when people have no reason to diss.
It sounds so cliché, but if you really don't have anything nice to say, what's the point?

evil_angel187 i was called emo for listening to MCR i simply responded "Ok lets see emo means emotional so your making fun of me because i feel my own emotions and don't just do what everyone else does? well then ******** you go stick a broom up your a**" yeah they used to call me goth but now they call me emo so im like omg wow wev'ed had an upgrade have we now o don't i feel loved well i do say its bette to be an emo and have feelings unlike u unloved scummy chavs!! burning_eyes

Believe it or not, my dinky little school (actually, it's new and quite big) in my dinky little town in my dinky little state is like, emo capital of the US. Hot Topic reigns almighty, and the school isdivided into basic groups: The Music Junkies, the Preps/Future Yuppies, the Glitsy-Shiny People, the Popular Weirdos, and the Sporty Guys/Girls. The Music Junkies consists of boys with long hair who smell bad and wear black ACDC shirts every day, girl who wear lotsa eyeliner and fitted band tees (Hawthorne Heights, Green Day, etc.), and if we wanted, all the MCR obsessed people could start their own club. And just in case you're thinking "sporty? *gasp* That means JOCK," then think again. Most of the sporty guys/girls are also members of the Popular Weirdos Group.
And yes, labels suck, but they exist whether you like it or not.

I was called goth for a looooooooong time by the guys in my neighborhood, but I'm not. Not even close. But it's fun to tease them like that, cuz I have a neighbor who honestly believes that goths eat human flesh. domokun mrgreen
