I think that doing items from my own inventory may have made things easier, but making the avi wasn't exactly a piece of cake. One of the biggest challenges is finding items that will play nice with the other items and not knock the others off. Then there are colors that get used a lot for hair, but not a lot for hair accessories.
I would rather not have used the sour shuojo memories filters for the citrus green, but nothing else that I tried would actually show up on the avi--I had bangs that used the color, but the bangs had a white ombre going on, and so they only showed up as white, because I had all the hairpins, bows, and headbands going on.

Yeah I had a lot of trouble with layering on mine, like adding a new item would make another disappear underneath something else.
Oh yeah the items that are primarily hair but have little else, that was a struggle for me too. Usually meant I picked my hair last or changed it a bunch of times when I only had hair for a specific color. Eyes were another thing that I reserved for items that didn't have a lot of stuff (I think this is where I used citrus green).
I think you have more green in there than I got so kudos to you for that. I had to skip some colors cause I just didn't have anything for them.

That's fine. Doing this is kind of exhausting! I love the different silhouette that you got, with the head cut out and that looping fur scarf! I also like the pile of roses and the bits on the floor (petals?)

I did Sunset & Decay for this one with Burgundy being the pivot. I had to go outside of my invo but I like how it turned out.
