Glancing back up at Valko as he spoke, spoon in her mouth, the harpy nodded twice and forced a clearly-strained smile on her face. He said to be happy, so of course she needed to be happy.
He might go away if she kept being sad, which would be sadder.
What if he went away and never came back? That would be super sad.
That said, she simply couldn't become happy so quickly either.
Setting down the finished ice cream, she finally looked up from her place on the floor to see females with these strange, glowy sticks walk into the room and begin dancing nearby. She gulped and blinked twice, dumbfounded. Her body moved mechanically with them, standing up on unstable legs and leaving the ice cream bowl to be quickly quickly removed by a mellon staff. She swayed to no rhythm in particular before attempting to mimic the dancing lady by flailing about. Her arms were up and then down, her claws bouncing off the ground and her wings haphazardly flapping behind her without an ounce of restraint.
She stumbled and was sent barreling into Valko as a new tune began to play.
Everyone Else I leave it at y'all's discretion as to whether or not Hatil has roughed up your pae in her dancing >.>

Upon entering the water, Hjortur glided in diving form until his momentum faded, at which point he pulled his his arms back for another push to turn around. Then once more as he curiously glanced first upwards, then down and away towards the source of the music. He wasn't sure why he'd been surprised that Venus had music originating from within the aquarium this year, but it was a bit unexpected. Had she done this any year prior. He really tended to keep out of the water when possible at these events, so he may have just missed it.
Before he could try to remember, Kel had taken hold of his hand to pull him forward to dance. Could you believe that? She had pulled him to dance!
Sometimes the truth was stranger than fiction.
Smiling and about shaking through the tips of his tail fin, the energy he'd seemed to forget about surged ahead anew, his fingers tingling with all the excess energy. Given the unique circumstances, he followed her lead in the dancing, if adding more than a few extra movements to rid himself of that energy. Laughing wholeheartedly, he tightened his grip as they spun, his eyes looking from her to the hair that seemed to wholly encompass them.
Damn... She was beautiful tonight.
Well, she always had been. But for some reason, she was extra beautiful tonight.
Not that he could even try to say anything; doing so simply brought upon a giggle fit. What a night. He'd needed this.

Cerulean had readily agreed to go to the Aquarium. It would probably be more interesting there for Ducky at least. However, he swam there and waited for Ducky to join him in the water, and did when she finally got in the water. Unfortunately they couldn't quite talk under here, well, he could, but he wasn't sure if the devices that the land pae were given would allow for conversation under the water.
However, he had barely been able to greet her, when suddenly he saw the flash of the glow stick, and he was suddenly dancing like crazy. Not well, since he didn't really know how to dance, but this was a lot like how it was described when he was told about 'clubbing' and such. He didn't like it too much, as the aquarium suddenly seemed to get more crowded.
Suddenly though, it seemed that a new tune was being played, and this one... He looked over at Ducky. He knew she looked good before but now? Gorgeous...

The glow-stick, it was like a siren's song, to call on the insanity that lingers within a being's body, to jerk them out of their normalcy and toss them on on the brink of tiredness of elate to divulge in nature's deepest secrets of rhythm. When the music came through next, the feeling was deepen, heightened by attraction to another for whatever reason that it was there to begin with. That is how it felt with Ducky, and when she started twitching in what was deem to be a rhythmic movement of her body, along with Cerulean whom joined her in the swim spot. It did not matter that they were under the water but the combination had affected them both regardless.
And when her eyes, such as they are, had landed on Cerulean, the music had heated her blood that ran through her veins, making things well rather foggy around her eyesight. Even under the water, her face went a deep shade of pink. In the beginning, he was cute and shy, and now... Cerulean seem to be made like the perfection of all beings; in short, he was quite handsome to her and that surprised her within. Seemingly out of nowhere, she wiggled her fingers at the male, giggling, or close to what was giggling under the water with her scuba equipment attached. The feeling intensifies, and so she just let herself be pushed by the song, swimming her way to be close to Cerulean, in body.

Have you ever seen a naiad twerk? Well, Zoran was twerking like no naiad has ever twerked before.
He spun around and wrapped his tail around the angel in scuba gear. He took her left hand in his right and started spinning around. "Let's dance," he growled, attempting to sound sexy but likely falling short because sexy Zoran was not. As he twirled his "girlfriend" he noticed another naiad. The attraction was undeniable. "Let's go meet him." He said to Fraise, and started swimming towards another party guest. But on his way, his eyes focused on some of the fake seaweed decor and his heart pounded in his chest. Oh spirits, the seaweed decore was gorgeous.
He swam to the bottom of the giant tank and giggled and started tickling the plastic decoration. He had not forgotten Fraise, but that seaweed was just captivating. Zoran twirled and once again saw the love of his life. Fraise's scuba tank. Leaving the cheesy decore he pulled the pink angel closer. "Let's finish that dance," he whispered to the tanks.
The poor boy could just not handle the influence of these party crashers. Who by the way, were sexy as all get out.
Twitchapher the 3rd" I'm sorry, Zoran just can't handle this.

Din of the party, confusion and irritation at her date being taken from her by the new pae, all were cut.
"NOW"
Eyes flashed wide as those words shot through her like lightening to a lightening rod. That tone, even from a distance, shot clear as a bell. Amazing how it had the ability to take her from a grown adult down to a child in two second flat. Remarkably the air that it took out of her also seemed to sober her up a little.
Reaching out she touched Tristen's shoulder telling him, "I've got to go.." It would be nice if he joined her as her champion. His doing so or not wasn't something she was going to wait around to see. He proved himself to her numerous times, he would do so again without a doubt.
Starting on her way out, one little sister caught her eye. Oh, how had she not notice the younger girl? Regardless it was time to go to Mother's side. Stepping past her, Harmonia reached out to grab the girl by her wrist, "C'mon Se--" Wait...which one was she again? Serenity was easy, the time she'd spend with the girl pulled her name from the fog without a thought. This one and the other triplet? Oh boy she was too drunk for this. "C'mon, little sister, Mother is calling. Never leave Mother waiting." Giving the girl a tug, the Goddess of Harmony played her element to encourage harmony in the family.
Not heeding Mothers call would blast that out of the water. Good older sisters look out for their youngers. With an easy pull she further encouraged the girl to leave the dancing glowstick and head to the main hall with her.

The fae looked rather helplessly at Harmonia as he continued to jar his limbs out to and fro. "I...don't know. I can't help myself!" And yet he was just so happy about it!
In the middle of his fantastical dance number, music filled his ears. Music to go along with his spazzed out body movements! He blinked at his date, who was suddenly, impossibly even more enthralling.
How was that even possible? He already thought her the most gorgeous pae he could ever conceive, and yet suddenly she was even more beautiful! He reached out to pull her into his arms, when suddenly a very loud female voice cut through the air.
The fae looked around, but the owner of said voice didn't seem to be in the room.
There were some...GOOD looking pae in this room! Talk about a party!
When he looked back, his date was walking away! "Harmonia?" He called out, confused. But he recognized her going to a girl who looked very much like Serenity. He didn't know Serenity has an almost identical sibling. Ah well, he'd leave them to talk about sisterly things. There was dancing to be done!

"DJing... Ah, yes... I see, I see..."
Daedalus crossed his arms and nodded twice with an inquisitive look on his face, closing his eyes for a moment to ponder her response before grinning and giving her a thumbs-up. Guess he shouldn't bother her anymore; it looked like paeple were starting to enter. "Well, you keep on doing on. I'm going to go off over there-" he pointed elsewhere in the tank, "-now. Toodles~!" Waving, he did a flip backwards before twisting into a corkscrew and swimming off in said direction.
That was kinda fun~ And she didn't look too stressed out or anything, so she'd probably be just fine!
Good, good!
Glancing around, he effectively hovered in place as we watched the guests start trickling in, one-by-one. It was kind of amazing to see the land pae'il wanting to get all decked out to come below the water's surface; would this equipment be enough to help one get down to the Spring someday? Now wouldn't that be interesting! Mmmm... But they'd probably have to figure out a way to deal with the other aspects of the water, like the pressure and temperature (land pae'il couldn't deal with that, right?)... Mmm... Ah! This was hurting his head, and it didn't even really matter anyways!
In his musings of the land pae'il, his gaze had come to look up at the surface from where they descended. Even watching the different ways they entered the water was interesting; some dived, some seemed to just fall, and others were hesitant to test the waters of something new.
Alright~! He was gonna show them what the water was all about!
YEAH!
Slapping his cheeks, a boyish grin lit up his face as another strange sort of light reflected off his eyes during its decent into the water. What was-- Oh did it even matter~? It was hype time! Dance time~! Yeah, yeah! Hips swishing to Mnemo's beats, arms pumping in tune, he sashayed over to a dancing group¹ and laughed as he joined in their pumping motions, a few 'whoops' to the beat escaping his lips before laughing giddily and swimming off again, this time further down into the tank to try and rile up the naiad guests.
In doing so, he caught sight of something glowing down at the bottom; for some reason, he just had to go pick it up. It was simply calling to him, as if he knew it would help him keep the party going down below. Of course it would; it was glowing! How cool was that? If he got that, he could hype everyone up and make Grandma happy and then she'd hopefully praise him <3. It was simply a perfect idea. Go him! Not a second later he was in full dashing mode to the light.
As he approached it and took hold of it, he absolutely could not stop dancing to Mnemo's tune, unaware at how his moves were becoming more exaggerated all the while. He was practically unable to hold still by the time he picked up the small rectangular...thing...that shone with an incredible luminescence even down in the water. Oooooo~ Yes this was perfect! This would certainly help him make sure everyone was having fun; who didn't like glowing things under the water? With a single nod, glowstick in hand, he flipped around and began his dancing-return towards where more pae were.
Antidia When you realize you missed a response just because you wanted the char to do something else... sorry Dia!
FA UH OH Daedalus picked up the glowstick under the water
