It was yet again another long and rainy morning, but not as cold as the previous day. This meant that Rei didn't have to worry about tending to some of the plants she was growing outside in the flower bed that year. She was up and ready for the day, wearing her royal attire which consisted of her favorite long sleeved, dark violet dress that went down to her ankles with matching flats. The skirt had a silver rose pattern embroidered onto it. Princess Rei decided to keep her hair tied back into a low ponytail out of habit, wearing her small golden tiara and some simple amethyst earrings in the shape of small hearts to go with it.; Something she hadn't worn in quite a long while. Regardless of the weather, this gave the princess an opportunity to try and relax despite being a little tense for some odd reason. Princess Rei went straight to the kitchen, cooking a quick breakfast. By the time she finished eating, she grabbed her long black cloak, and put it on, deciding to head on out to the stable behind the house where her black stallion resided. Rei prepared the horse for the trip through town, getting on as she lightly snapped the reins. The stallion went on his way, carrying his rider to Mercy Hospital.

Angelo drive down the street carefully, teasing the numbers on each residence before finding Rei's and stopping the vehicle in front of her home. "Here we are." he said after a minute as his truxk.came to halt. It was still raining, such sucked but at least he got the princess and her steed home safe, so that was good. He couldn't wait to get home himself. Surprisingly enough, he and her l8ved in the same district as well as the same street. Wasn't that a kick? He got out of the car, heading over to the passengers side to open the door for Rei so that she could get her steed.

When the vehicle stopped at last, the princess realized they had arrived. Things looked quite different from within the truck,
seeing everything differently much like in a carriage pulled by horses. Turning her gaze, Rei watched as her coworker got out and went over to the side she was on, opening the door. Rei carefully got out once he'd done so, making sure she didn't fall. Without a word, the princess wrapped her arms around Angelo in a hug, smiling a little with joy. "Thank you for the ride. I appreciate it." Rei spoke timidly in gratitude, then let go. She hoped he didn't mind, not wanting to upset him, being patient as ever.

Angelo blinked at the action, stiffening slightly but returned the hug before she had let go of him. "It's no problem at all, Princess. I am glad i could help you out." he replied with a smile at her. "I'm going to get the ramp so you can get your Thimder." He added before heading to the bed of the truck, pulling down the tailgate and sliding down the ramp so tje horse could come down easily.

In all honesty, Princess Rei hadn't expected her coworker to be so kind since she began helping him learn his job at the hospital. Still, it was comforting to know that she had indeed made another friend within the vast city. Rei kept the hood of her cloak up so she wouldn't get wet. She went over to the back of the truck, waiting for Angelo to lower the ramp. Once it was down, Thunder got up, turned around and cautiously made his way down onto the cement sidewalk to await his rider. Princess Rei turned to look back at her coworker with a small, timid smile like before. "See you tomorrow, Angelo." she spoke calmly while grabbing her stallion's reins with one hand. Princess Rei began leading Thunder up the small dirt pathway towards the back of her traditional Japanese style home where the stable resided near the blacksmith forge. For once she felt almost at home in this city, despite things being much different from the place she came from.

Angelo watched and waited patiently for Rei to do what she did before placing the ramp back into the truck and then closing the gate. "Are you tomorrow, Princess." he replied with a small smile at her, watching her go before getting back into his truck and drove on home. Today had been unexpectedly nice.And he had made a new friend who was a princess to boot. For once. He was kind of glad he moved to StarCreek.

It was quite cold and still pouring down rain by the time Princess Rei came back to her empty home that night. She closed the door and made sure it was locked securely, then put the bag with her bought item inside the closet of her room for later. With a weary sigh, Rei put her cloak away as well, then snuffed out all the candles within the entire house. Heading to her room again, she got ready for bed, then laid down in bed to sleep.

Morning had come once again as the sun rose into the sky. Princess Rei was up and about, already somewhat prepared for the day. She wore her usual royal attire which consisted of long sleeved, dark violet dress with black trim that went down to her ankles with matching flats. The skirt had a silver rose pattern embroidered onto it. Princess Rei decided to not bother putting her hair up this time, wearing her small golden tiara and some simple amethyst earrings in the shape of small hearts to go with it. The dress's style was of an old Elvish design, the kind she liked the best. Once she headed to the kitchen, Rei began searching the ice box and cupboards.
When she found the items she needed, she started cooking breakfast right away. 'Perhaps I should write to my mother and sister. It's been ages since I heard anything from home.' Rei thought while scrambling some eggs into the frying pan. When the princess had finished with her breakfast a short while later, she made sure she had what she needed before walking out of the house and locking the door with the key. Rei soon left her home, deciding to take a walk to the hospital and begin her shift.
