While running away from the marine ladies, Reverse suddenly felt a hand on the back of his neck like someone was grabbing him from behind and was shocked, not passing by anyone within range who could grab him and considering who it might be. ”No way...” He thought to himself and before he could look back to see who it was exactly, he was face down on the ground with an arm on his neck and a foot on his shoulder and heard the redheads voice talking from right behind him. ”Oh~ but neither was this!” As the redhead marines blue lacky approached, Reverse would suddenly burst into a spray of small golden caltrops that scattered all around and under the feet of the marine that had him pinned down and would pike the bottom of her feet if she wasn’t careful, and her subordinate too if she didn’t watch her step.
Seconds after becoming tons of scattered caltrops, they would all zip ahead of the marines and converge about ten feet in front of the redhead and reform back into Reverse again who would stand there giving the red-haired marine a disappointed look with his rainbow tinted eyes. ”I had no idea that marines were the type to attack a defenseless person from behind. I should report you two to, the… umm~ what’s it called. More important than you but not overall in the big thing?” He folded his arms over his chest and wrinkled his brows telling by the expression that could be seen in his eyes, trying to think of this word.
Luka merely rolled her eyes as she looked down at the man, ready to stab him if she deemed it necessary as she kept him pinned to the ground. She kept him there as she awaited Lily to get closer with the handcuffs for him. It was right about then that Luka felt her foot loose its place on his arm and she pulled her foot back, just as a caltrop was halfway through the elevated heel in her left boot. "Lily, watch your step!" She immediately shouted back to her First Mate, looking down at the mess of metal before all of it began to recollect a short distance away. It all came together again in the form of the pirate they were here to capture as she narrowed her eyes at the man as he made light of their attempt to capture, even trying to act like he would tell their superiors...or something similar at least.
Luka sighed softly, taking a single step towards him before planting her right foot forwards, assuming her standard and personalized stance. Right arm extended forwards, sword tip pointed at her target, left foot behind and facing slightly left along with her torso, left arm relaxed at the side. "A transformative Devil Fruit ability then...Lily, we'll have to take him in by force now, but be careful and make defense and evasion take priority over dealing damage until we understand his ability or take him down." She spoke softly, giving a set of basic orders to her subordinate as her eyes remained trained on her quarry. "This is the part where you surrender if you don't wish to experience too much pain." She spoke louder this time, her voice very stern and official, unblinking as she was ready to strike him down as needed for the sake of preserving the peace.
Lily stared at the man burst into metal objects that would be swiped away were they to launch towards her by a sweeping tentacle. Luka's warning was somewhat unnecessary as she would continue forwards only to stop when Luka had stopped her movement by standing up and getting into a fighting stance. Curiosity crawled across her features as Luka analyzed the man and his abilities. She was quiet as she waited to do exactly as Luka asked.

Reverse stopped mid-thought of trying to recall the word he forgot and his gaze shifted back over to the two marines who were still pursuing him when the lead one once again told him to surrender. He rolled his head around his shoulders, his alloy hair draping around with it, in one full rotation to look back towards them again and turned his body to the side to now face the two of them off while still keeping his arms crossed over his chest and speaking up to them in a more serious tone than he normally had. ”It seems that you give me no other choice now. Two women so driven to take me down and lock me away once again.” He uncrossed his arms and punched his fist into his other open palm and cracked his knuckles one by one. ”But that’s not gonna happen as long as my lucky clover is still not in my hand.” Matching the red heads enthusiasm for a fight, he slid his left foot forward across the dirt while turning his body to the side and holding his fists up with his left in front of the attached shoulder and his right fist near his gut with is knees bent slightly, more or less taking on a stance similar to a boxer.
His eyes shifted over to the blue woman next to the red head marine. ”What is that? Your pet? Might want to tie it up somewhere or it will get hurt. Mi-kekeke.” He chuckled to himself and focused back to the red head. ”Last chance if you want to run away now or else you have to pick one of my choices of how this goes.” He tightened his fists and locked his body getting ready for a fight. ”Kiss my a** or I’ll kick both of yours!”
Seemed he was finally taking them serious now for once. His manner of speaking had also changed as well as a show of his altered demeanor on the matter. Good. Luka preferred this much more than the goofy nonsense he was on about before. He started to be serious as he assumed what seemed to be a stance for boxing before he threw a jab at Lily being Luka's 'pet' or something. "She's my first mate and I suggest you start learning some respect. Of course you'll have plenty of time to practice such things in your cell where you can hopefully reconsider the path you have chosen as well." She scolded him, legitimately hoping he'd take her advice once he was shipped off. She really did dislike the idea of killing a pirate in lieu of them having a change of heart, possibly turning their life around after learning the error of their ways.
Sighing softly, she decided to get this over with. She moved her right arm to her left as she rushed forwards those last ten feet between them. Her eyes remained locked on him as she stopped and swung her arm in an upwards diagonal slash to strike across his chest. However her right arm would pass in front of him, not even close enough to touch his raised hand. Her blade wouldn't even be there as the feint had already been made. She had released her blade while it was low the moment before she had swung her arm up, and her left hand had instead grabbed the handle in a reverse grip, such that the blade pointed behind her. In that instant, she activated her Busoshoku Haki, coating her entire sword tip to pommel just to be safe considering he had a Devil Fruit of some sort. From there, her left arm snapped forwards as she smashed the pommel of her blade into his gut as hard as she could, not wanting to perform any sort of cutting attacks on his body as he has yet to deserve such from what she has seen. Had he murdered someone, it would likely be a different story however. Shigure Soen Ryu: Samidare. Hopefully this ended things quickly so that repairs could be done for the shop owner.

Lily stared at the thing as it continued to talk, 'Does it never shut up? I can't fathom why it continues to talk.' she thought almost feeling pity for the what she assumed was a very stupid robot. The jab sent towards her was not effective in the slightest, since she for one stood taller than it as well as could probably rip it limb from limb and throw it in the ocean for a sea king if she was so inclined. The Jellyfishman looked curious when Luka defended her, but she would move off to the side and take a move forward, three tentacles elongated themselves from her helm and moved with clear readiness while she would slip on her iron knuckles. She'd slip behind Reverse in an attempt to block his escape attempt but stayed off to the side so that were he to dodge Luka wouldn't be able to damage her. Due to this though her tentacles would be the ones flying out to become practical iron bars that would stop the man from scuttling backwards or off to the left since the long ribbons curled out and around practically becoming a cage.
Reverse stood at the ready for whatever type of attack or trick the marines would try to throw at him, or so he thought when his focus was taken up by the redhead marine making a sudden rush at him and attacking in a sudden blur of a motion like to slash him with her sword in two. The expression on his face was wide eyed and full of shock at how fast she approached him giving him no time to even defend himself. ”Time ou-” Before he could even finish saying what he wanted to, he flinched at the slash motion that flew in front of him but instead of feeling the cut, felt a heavy hit in his gut that knocked the wind out of him and made him cough from the brunt force of the impact, making him drop his hands to his sides as the hit knocked him back a bit and made him stumble backwards and into what felt like a row of ropes behind him. ”Uhh.” He looked back and saw he was being blocked by three tentacles that came from the other marine that somehow got behind him and to the side while he was distracted.
”. . . Loiter.” Only a couple seconds after he was struck, a single click would come from the feet of the red haired marine followed by a sudden explosion of that engulfed a 10 foot radius of where the marine stood and blowing dust up around them all, not enough to blind but just hinder their sight slightly. ”Flame!” Right when Reverse feel for the faint of the marines attack, he morphed his four main fingers on his left hand into anti-tank grenades and upon taking the hit to his gut, released them stealthy around the ground of the marines feet. A feat he could only achieve in such a way because he felt no pain from the attack, just the force of it. He smirked as he quickly leaned off of the stretched tentacles and dashed into a nearby barbershop that was empty currently due to the crisis of the fire he started previously and the patrons all leaving to help put out the fire down the street. After taking a single back step into the entrance, he held his hands up towards the street where the marines were and morphed his forearms and hands in a pair of golden gatling guns. ”Gatling Shift.” He then let loose a hail of bullets across the streets outside the building, brining his arms apart and crossing them to not leave a spot within his firing range untouched. ”Have a golden shower you stinkin’ marines!!”

After exploding, the power of his devil fruit causes his fingers to reform back onto his hand like nothing happened. As her attack made a direct strike, the man was pushed back by the raw force she had applied, sending him directly towards her First Mate Lily as she smirked. She heard the click and looked down, crossing her arms as the explosion went off, damaging her as she stepped forwards still, certain that Lily had taken a hold of him as had taken a bit of damage from the blasts a moment ago. She had to pause for a moment as she looked forwards, confirming that Lily had taken a solid grapple of their target with her strong tentacles before she stepped closer. She narrowed her eyes and raised up her left hand, tossing up her blade handle about an inch from her hand to quickly switch grip, holding it normally as the pommel still face the pirate, still coated in Busoshoku Haki as she snapped her arm forwards and bashed it into his skull in an attempt knock him out completely. "Good night..."

Lily felt him hit her tentacles along with the sound of something clicking, though the strong thick ribbon like appendages wrapped tightly around the man's legs and torso entwining him similar to that of an anaconda. It's arms would be strapped to his body his fingers lost under her grip as she held tight even when the blast went off. The pain itself surged and made her clench him tighter though she didn't loosen her grip in the slightest as she felt burns touch her skin here and there. Debris landed around them as Luka would come forward, Lily's blue eyes were smoldering with anger at the man for endangering the people around the area which further made it harder to loosen her grip. He wasn't breathing so it didn't matter if she was practically crushing him in her grip, though as Luka approached the man would be promptly smacked in the forehead, Lily didn't relent seeing as she didn't feel him breathing, she questioned if knocking him out would even work.
Reverse tried to move away from the tentacles behind him but found them quickly wrapped around his legs and torso keeping him in place with the red haired marine quickly approaching and ready to strike. ”Geh!? Blade Shift!” Right when the blunt end of the sword was coming down to his face, his body morphed into a 5 foot long cutlass causing the strike aimed at his head to miss the thin target that was just his head and the tentacles wrapped around him tightly to be cut off from squeezing the razor sharp blade, freeing his torso and legs and leaving him to fall over in this form for a moment before changing back to his normal form halfway to the ground but keeping his forearms as cutlass blades and turning his body while swinging his arms around to make two slashes vertically at the red haired marine with his golden blades.

What should have been a clan cut finish was instead turned into a ...clean cut fail? Her arm had just barely missed the intended strike target as she looked at the man having transformed his entire body into that of an over sized blade. It gave her a momentary flash back to someone else that had an over sized weapon before and was definitely over compensating for something he was lacking. Masculinity could be so fragile sometimes~ Regardless, there was a fight going on as Luka focused herself on her target as he fell over, cutting himself free of Lily's tentacles before he fell to the ground. It wasn't exactly 'graceful' but she had to admit that it worked at least. As he fell towards Luka, she stepped to the side, watching him shift back mid fall as she quickly pulled her arm back over, blocking his sudden slashes with her sword as he dropped himself to the ground and she stepped back again.
She was now somewhat more annoyed than she had been initially as she sighed out and waited this time. She had stepped back, standing now about ten feet away from him as she resumed her combat stance in reverse, left hand forwards as her sword pointed towards her target, deciding to take a more reactionary stance on the matter this time.

Lily would feel the shape in her tentacles immediately become nonexistant forcing the appendages to relax and wave around as she became confused. The idiot cut some of the tentacles and a clear liquid would spill from the shallow cuts due to the thing's lack of weight as a sword. She'd sigh as he would drop forward and transform back to which she reached forward while he slashed at Lily's superior. The tentacles would grab his kneeling legs which had to break his fall if he was managing a turn at that moment. They would literally tug him back hard so he fell flat on his face and she would move a step or two back, releasing his legs in the process, "Lieutenant Scarlet, I request permission to deal lethal blows. It is not a living being so it can not die." she stated simply, "I could not feel a single breath when I was attempting to squeeze him into unconsciousness." she offered her analysis as she would watch for anymore shifting parts. The idiot robot was infuriating with its necessity to just not go in quietly, she practically relished the thought of ripping it's limbs off.
Reverse wasn’t surprised that the skilled marine facing him was able to evade his spur of the moment attack given her skill level in combat up to this point but twinged when he felt a hard tug on his legs and fell forward unable to catch himself fully on his legs as they were pulled out from under him as he fell. He drew his cutlass forearms back next to his body to catch himself before his face and chest would smack to the ground, stopping himself just inches off of the ground, and digging the blades an inch into the ground supporting himself from getting dirt on his facemask.
When he heard the tentacled females comment that he wasn’t breathing and thus not a living thing, he looked back over his shoulder and up towards her giving her a disgruntled look. ”Well excuse~ me! Facing two cute babes who are fighting over me just, took my breath away~” He said in a mildly taunting manor then shifted his forearm blades to mini cannons and leaned to his left a bit while firing them point black at the ground causing a muffled explosion that knocked up a heavy cloud of dirt and sand around them all and he used the recoiled force to send himself flying to the side across the ground about ten feet at the same time using the explosion as a distraction and cover and rolled over to his feet and to a kneeling position, took quick aim at where the two marines were last as he couldn’t see them yet thanks to the temporary cloud of dirt and fired off two cannon rounds simultaneously towards them both hoping to his his mark. ”Heads up!”

Annoying banter aside, he had sufficiently annoyed Luka to no end today. She wanted to be done with this pest as she watched Lily trip him up onto the ground. Her First Mate had asked about lethal force to which she shook her head. "Permission denied. He hasn't done enough to warrant that much force yet." She spoke calmly despite her annoyance as she had been working on controlling her seething hatred of pirates for the sake of her performance in battle. In that moment however, Reverse had used the momentary distraction to blast himself away from them by shooting at the ground, knocking up some dirt as he rolled away. Guarding her eyes with her arm Luka had decided that this had drawn on long enough.
Luka fully coated her entire body in Busoshoku Haki this time. Not a particularly dense coating but it was solid nonetheless and it would protect her from his attacks. She turned to where he had rolled off and dashed towards him. Just as he fired off his canons, only to have them explode against her protective haki armor, the force only slowing her slightly as she rushed at him. Her left arm was low as she ran at him and mirrored her first attack but with the opposite hand. She would swing her arm, releasing her blade again at the start of the swing as her arm feinted without the blade and passed in front of him harmlessly. She snatched at her sword with her right hand now, eyes focused at his stomach again as it looked looked a repeat from before, until Reverse would feel Luka's left hand suddenly thrusting back down upon his head, slamming in face down into the dirty with all of her strength. A double feint.

Abilities Intermediate Busoshoku Haki: This level of Busoshoku Haki possesses the same qualities as Basic Busoshoku Haki, as well as new additions. The user may cover their entire body in invisible armor for two posts at a time; it extends to the weapons the user is holding at the time. It can be used to increase offense or defense anywhere from [100] to [200], depending on the amount of Spirit paid. Intermediate Busoshoku Haki defends against the harmful effects of elements, such as the intense heat of the Magu Magu no Mi, or the frigid temperatures of the Hie Hie no Mi; i.e., it prevents the user form being frozen, melted, or from succumbing to the effects of temperature, etc. Intermediate Busoshoku can be used to coat projectiles or any object that leaves the user's body. This means that the attack/ object in question must, at some point, be in contact with the user's body or the weapon they are holding. Anything coated in Busoshoku Haki gains the same properties that the user gains. Intermediate Busoshoku Haki can be used without the boost, but with the other effects stated in the technique, by expending [25] Spirit. [Applied to whole body and sword; 13 Spirit spent; no boost]
Lily would sigh as the thing opened it's mouth again. Within the few moments it had taken to get her question answered the thing had went to creating guns and blasting at the ground, she simply stepped back a few paces as she would let her tentacles retract some. The dust moving she'd be able to see where her lieutenant and the criminal had went too. She'd approach a bit slowly as she let her lieutenant take charge of the situation and instead prepare for proper capture once again.
