Chael nodded curtly to his professor before sliding his late note into the book on her desk. "The pleasure is mine." he responded, mostly from force of habit. The boy was nothing if not formal. He pulled out the ball from his pocket and clicked it twice- once to enlarge it and another to send out his starter. It couldn't be helped if the professor asked directly to send Nysa out. Despite their notoriously aggressive appearance, Nysa had long since learned patience after having her share of Bug Catchers prod and poke her. In a flash of light, she was cast out of her ball and stretched out her arms with a satisfied "Pinse." She clicked her horns together before relaxing them.
"Hello Nysa." Chael said quietly, brushing his hand against her cheek in a rather meek form of affection. Thankfully the Bug Type had learned to read her trainer well enough in her time with him and moved in to be pet. He moved off to the side in order to let the third new student have their time. The others seemed to be grooming whatever Pokemon they could find, so the trainer in training followed suit. Nysa couldn't be brushed, but beetles like her occasionally had mites and Entei knows his mother wouldn't have had any of that in her home. So he'd look for things like that, though he kept well away from her horns. Those things could kill a man if he was foolish enough to get between them.
He more or less ignored his classmates entirely. However he would need to eventually figure out how things worked. Whether or not if there was some sort of school government, the wildlife, and so on. More importantly, he wanted to get a hang on how battles worked. When he had caught Nysa, it had been as short as having his father's Arcanine strike her once (the fire type accommodated his greenness by taking that as Quick Attack but the boy was unaware) and wasting most of the given Sport Balls on her. Chael had a lot to learn before even thinking of becoming a top trainer. What could his Pokemon even do?
Iris turned her attention from Ceres as a student approached the teacher. From what Iris could gather, the class had new students joining them together. That made Iris smile a little as she looked who Lillith was trying to coax up to the stage. A girl and two boys. Immediately she wondered what type of pokemon they had and if they were friendly. Iris would had liked to have more people she could talk to about coordination.
Iris looked at the white haired boy that spoke to Ms. Ezra first as he said he name was Chael. Iris was about to lift up her arm to wave when she was surprised instead by the Pinsir he had with him. There was no mistaking that pokemon as she had an encounter with one through one of her brother's friends. Otherwise, she would be scared at the pincers on top of its head. Instead she was interested as she looked at the bug type.
"Your pokemon is cool...." Iris said aloud. "I bet those pincers are strong, like...hmmm..." Iris crossed her arms as she thought up a comparison. As she was thinking, Iris looked at his uniform and lost her old train of thought for a new one. "Hey! You're in Flygon. Me too!" she said as she pulled at the hem of her still dusty and slight muddy skirt. "The colors are all under the mud and stuff. But that's cool. We're like dormmates." Iris gave a smile as she heard the name of the other new student. Now her attention went to the turtwig.
"Oh cool a turtwig!" Iris said as she as approached the boy. With pokemon on the brain, her usual wariness was down. "I haven't seen many of those. And it's so green. I really like the color green!" Iris said she looked at Bebe. "And blue... top two colors." she added on.
X⇒ LOCATION : Coordination/Performance ClassXXXXX⇒ WITH : Iris, Niara, Mrs. Ezra, Phoebe, Chael, Tristan The entire time, Ichiro didn't take his eyes off Anubis, he inwardly knew that it was best to show the Pokemon in front of him his full respect, even though he was outwardly really nervous around the disaster Pokemon. Even his Snivy that was still perched up on his right shoulder was still shaking like a leaf as he watched Ichiro place a tentative hand upon the Absol's soft main. Upon begging the Pokemon not to hurt him, Ichiro watched curiously as the Pokemon looked away from him for a second, as if entertaining a thought before turning back to him. Hopefully, it was a sign that the Pokemon allowed his touch. Much to Ichiro's surprise, Anubis seemed to be alright with being petted, in fact he seemed to enjoy it. Ichiro smiled as felt the pokemon's firm stance begin to wane beneath his hand as well as the subtle vibration of his purrs. Lifting his hand from the Pokemon, Ichiro was shocked when Anubis turned his head to gently lick his hand before he could fully retract it away. The next thing he knew, he could already feel the pokemon's head slide under the palm of his and press against it, as if urging him to continue. A mixture of shock and fascination washed over Ichiro's features as he began to oblige the Absol, rubbing the top and sides of his head gently and affectionately. He concentrated for a moment on how soft Anubis's fur was before reminding himself not to over do it. Much like people, Pokemon needed their space to be respected to. Retracting his hand from the Pokemon, he smiled. "Your fur is so gorgeous and soft, Mr. Anubis. Thank you very much for giving me the honour." Ichiro thanked the Pokemon politely, giving a slight bow as if talking to someone of much greater importance. In his mind, he hoped that he could learn to take care of his Pokemon just as well as Ezra cared for hers.
Before Anubis could react, Ichiro was already touching him hair. To make the boy and his pokemon feel at ease, he started to purr and soften his stance. Also he liked being rubbed. Maybe it would shock the boy, but the Absol then moved towards his hand, licking at it before moving his head under the hand to be petted once more.
Turning his attention momentarily back to Mrs. Ezra, he felt way more at ease around her Pokemon as she encouraged the other students to do the same. He felt proud of his accomplishment with Anubis and now wondered if Ezra would reveal more secrets on her well-kept team. When she asked her students how her team looked, felt and acted, Ichiro was determined to be the first to answer, however, before he was able to, he became sidetracked by the sound of the classroom door opening.
Turning towards its direction, Ichiro didn't expect anymore students to arrive, but much to his surprise, the girl that walked in was someone he had never seen before. Was she a new student? Ichiro didn't take his eyes off the girl as he watched her scoop up her all too adorable Charmander, before heading a little further into the room. Ichiro blinked with genuine intrigue as he noted the colours of the girl's uniform. She had been placed in the Kingdra house, much like his friend Eve. Inwardly, he noted that most Kingdra students seemed like they intellectual types, or at least that was his assumption about them, after having meet a few of them. But this new Kingdra not only seemed really smart, but with her azure blue eyes and long dark hair, she was also kinda... pretty. Suddenly, Ichiro's features began to change in hue. He had probably been staring at the girl for way too long and that was just impolite. "Why do't you and Charmander join us on stage? M-maybe we can partners?" He smiled sheepishly at the girl, bringing a hand to the back of his head, nervously. He hoped it wasn't too late to redeem himself if she did think he was being rude. Meanwhile, his Snivy gave him a strange look, unsure why his trainer seemed a little nervous. The girl and her Charmander were no where near as scary as the Absol his trainer had just pet. "I'm Ichiro Sato, it's a pleasure to meet you." He then shyly introduced himself, trying to seem as normal as possible.
With his focus on the new Kingdra student that had joined the class, Ichiro hardly noticed that she wasn't the only one to have entered the classroom. Two other boys had entered as well, One a Flygon that presented Mrs. Ezra with a late slip and the other was another Kingdra and had introduced himself as Tristan. Ichiro smiled at the two new students and was really curious about what sort of Pokemon they owned. Though, his curiosity was soon satiated when realised Tristan had a cute looking Turtwig with him and the other boy soon revealed a large bug Pokemon. Ichiro watched in awe as the boy, Chael pet the beetle Pokemon so confidently. It was such an intimidating Pokemon, and had such a dangerous looking mouth, Ichiro couldn't help but wonder why the boy wasn't afraid to place his hand so close. It soon seemed that Iris was fascinated by both Pokemon and that the beetle didn't seem to frighten her any. Ichiro wished he could be just as brave.

ffffff↛Two other new students joined the class right after Pheobe entered. One walked right up to the teacher and presented his note while the other stayed back for a second before introducing himself as the teacher asked. Like Pheobe, this other new student, who appeared to be in the same uniform style as her, also did not have a note to give the teacher. She feared for a moment that maybe she forgot to get one or did indeed get one but dropped it in he rush. Fireball tugged at her school jacket, giving her a look as if to tell her to come back into reality. Phoebe felt her face flush and she bowed her head in apology to the teacher for not answering her. When she came up, she spoke softly, "Phoebe Ambre, ma'am! I uh... I don't have a note, I'm sorry." She slowly made her way to the stage, holding onto Fireball, who seemed to be enjoying the sight of strange, new pokemon to play with. She was still nervous about being late, even if the teacher, Ms. Ezra, seemed fine with the trio's reason for not being here on time.
The other two students seemed to already be getting attention from a green haired girl in a dirty uniform. It looked like she was having fun earlier at least. Phoebe was sure she had blended into the background when she heard a boy introduce himself to her. She turned around to see the shorter, blonde boy. She couldn't help but notice his cheeks where tinted, maybe he was shy on first meetings too. That made her feel a bit better that it wasn't just her. Ichiro, as he introduced himself, offered to be her partner in what they were doing, grooming by the looks. Phoebe nodded and set Fireball down, who practically tackled his Snivy in an effort to try and initiate play. "I'm sorry about Fireball," she said quickly, trying to pick the Charmander up, "He just gets excited seeing other pokemon!" Phoebe managed to pick him back up, but Fireball wasn't having it. He squirmed as he tried to get put back down, wanting to go over to the other group of pokemon and play as well! She sighed softly and moved him onto her back where he at least got to climb up and sit on her shoulders, his tiny arms around her head, and watch her to things. It must of been a funny sight, but Fireball liked being up fire. Her mother said it was the hidden desire he had to fly like he will when he becomes a Charizard.
Phoebe carefully looked at the pokemon before her, unsure of exactly what pokemon he was. She quickly pulled out her pokegear and had the pokedex read him. An Absol sounded so cool from the entry! There were two other pokemon she had never seen before, but she'd read them after class. Well, if it was alright with the teacher. Her father said a pokedex was a pokemon trainer's best tool to learn and if she was unsure, to read the pokemon with it to learn more on it. Since she was a student, it was her duty to learn! Plus, if she was lucky she'd be able to draw pokemon like these. Slowly she moved her hand to the pokemon, something her mother always said to do to show you didn't mean harm. When the pokemon seemed unphased, well at least from what she could remember an unphased look looked like. She slowly moved her hand to his coat. She was shaky at first, only having done this with her mother right next to her, but with the Absol not moving away she relaxed and smiled. She gently scratched under his chin and he seemed to like that. "W-What's his name," she asked Ichiro.
It hadn't taken too long to find her first class. The school wasn't half a big as her old school. And not nearly as nice. The walls had pockmarks, the lockers were an ugly shade and Faye was just feeling miserable. At her feet, Amirah walked quietly, glancing up from time to time. Walking through the hallways, she didn't move aside for anyone. Other students moved around her like she was a rock in a stream. Which suited her just fine. Finding the doorway to her first class, the Coordinator and Performance Class, Faye pushed open the barrier and walked into the vast auditorium. It was pretty nice actually, high ceilings and comfy looking chairs. Pausing at the doorway, she took a few moments to look around. There were several other students mingling about as well as a female adult. 'That must be the teacher. She doesn't look like much. Hmph....' Faye wasn't feeling very cheery and the upbeat attitude of the other students was rapidly making her mood darken even more. Crossing her arms, she huffed and walked into the room.
There were a lot of other Pokémon in the room and Amirah soon felt the need to explore. The little Eevee started to move towards a squirming Charmander, but her irritated Trainer noticed the interest before she could move,"Amirah stay! You are a Rhoades Pokémon now. We don't approach others, they come to us. Understand?" The little fox was disappointed, she wanted to play with the cute Charmander. But she'd been given basic training by the Breeder who raised her, so she hunkered down at Faye's feet and whinnied pitifully. Faye ignored her Pokémon and proudly walked forward towards the teacher at the front of the room. Amirah hesitant for a moment before following, sending a longing look towards Phoebe's Charmander. Maybe they could play a bit later. The Eevee followed after her Trainer, glancing around at the other young Pokémon in the room. She hoped she could make friends with some of them.
Waiting till the teacher noticed her, Faye spoke in a prim voice, bristling with confidence and pride"I am Faye Valeri Rhoades Ma'am, a transfer student from Mercedes Academy. I apologise if I am late, but i just arrived. What is the curriculum for this class?" While she wasn't really sorry, she might as well make a good first impression on the teacher. There was a few older, stronger looking Pokémon around, including one dog looking one that was quite intimidating. A young blond boy was rubbing at the luscious looking fur though, which made Faye feel better. There was a hyper, green haired girl nearby with a very cute flower looking Pokémon and the blond boy had some weird turtle looking creature near him. Faye plastered a smile on her face and decided to try and be nice for now, even though she wanted to very much be someplace else. Secretly, she was grinding her teeth in anger. This was so stupid, she shouldn't be here. What the heck was a Coordinator class anyway? What was she going to learn, how to walk straight? Faye could already do that. But she kept smiling and waited for the response of the class. She'd given her name, a name that should bring respect and awe from her fellow students. If it didn't...well....that wouldn't happen. She was a Rhoades, after all.

Lillith put in her memory the name and faces of her new students as well as writing down their names and to make sure that they were in her class' list. She was just writing down Tristan's name when the girl gave her name. "Tristan and Phoebe..." she said to herself as she then looked at the pokemon. Chael brought out a Pinsir. The woman was impressed that a student such a pokemon. Even more impressed was how unafraid Iris. "A very interesting pokemon." Lillith said as she looked over the Pinsir once Iris went to the other boy's turtwig. "If I may..." she asked before started to touch the pincers. "Nice shiny. Points aren't too sharp or dull. Eyes are bright and alert and scales show proper feeding and hydration." Lillith gave a smile. "Such lovely pokemon."
Lillith did a look around at the classroom and Ichiro and his Snivy had relaxed since Anubis went playful. He was now talking to Phoebe and her pokemon. It was nice that her old students were being nice to the new students. Lillith turned her head when she heard the command from the girl to her eevee. Lillith had herself has dealt with coordinators like that. Not her favorite type of people. Anubis and Loki didn't like seeing the pokemon so down. Meanwhile Ceres keep her composure.
Lillith focused on the girl as she introduced herself. Her tone could had been better. She was sure that there was a reason for the way she said her name and waited for a response. Lillith held back a chuckle. The woman had no idea who the girl's family was. But she did bring up something. She needed to give the new students a syllabus for the class. "Oh that's right." Lillith said, pounding her palm into her face. "I have to give you students your syllabus so you can keep up with the other students. Ceres if you may." The Gardevior bowed and quickly went backstage to grab some papers to be handed out. "This will explain the class but a long story short.. In this class I will be teaching you the ins and outs of coordination. How to care and groom your pokemon and how to perform in a proper coordination contest. You can pick up the syllabus after class."
Iris was looking at the turtwig as she knelt down and smiled. She only turned her head when another girl introduced herself, kinda loud since Iris could hear her. But what got her attention wasn't really the name -though it sounded familiar- It was instead the Eevee at herself. "I'm Iris by the way. This is my pokemon Bebe. I'll be right back." Iris said as she waved to the boy and his turtwig and went over to Faye. "Hello there." Iris said with a smile, but her clothes still messy but dust was flaking off. "Iris...Iris Haruno and this is Bebe my Flabebe. Your Eevee is really cute."
Iris knelt down as did Bebe -actually she just floated down- "Hey Eevee. You're really pretty. I hope we can play together."
Unintentionally, she was focusing more of the pokemon rather than the student/girl that the pokemon came with.
Faye looked at the graceful, flowing Pokémon went to the back of the stage and returned with a few papers. The Teacher had called it 'Ceres'. Must be its name. Faye listened closely as Miss Erza explained that the class was about becoming a Coordinator and learning to groom and care for Pokémon. It sounded boring and dull to her. What was so interesting about Pokémon anyway, they were just a phase that would pass. Like bellbottom pants and fedoras. But whatever. She'd play along for now and get a good grade in the class. Maybe her parents would let her come back home if she did. So the blond child nodded and smiled at Miss Erza, pretending to be interested. Really, she was more interested in her classmates. At her feet, Amirah sat patiently, seeming to be happier now that she was around other Pokémon and not getting scolded. Her Trainer was a strange one, sometimes she didn't understand her. But she could be patient and wait for her owner to be more open. After all, Amirah could sense the deep set pains Faye was feeling, even if Faye wasn't willing to admit it. As a cheerful girl started to approach, the little Eevee perked up and wagged her tail happily. This human seemed friendly at least. And the Flabebe looked like she would make a fun playmate.
Faye's attention was sidetracked by the approach of the mint haired girl. The floating flower followed behind, Faye assumed it was her Pokémon. She introduced herself as Iris. Faye edge away from Iris slightly, wrinkling her nose at the girl's dirty uniform Did she have an sanitary sense at all? She was even more put off when Iris knelt down to pay attention to Amirah. The Eevee was content though, bunting up her head against Iris's hand. Faye spoke up to Iris finally in a snappish voice "Nice to meet you Iris. I'm sure Amirah would be happy to....play with your....Bebe. By the way....you really should learn to groom yourself better. Good hygiene make a wonderful first impression." Her tone came off exactly as one would think. Snobbish and high handed. But Faye managed to smile a bit at Iris and replied in a slightly more friendly voice once her attention was back on her, "Once we're finished this class and are on our off time, I'm sure there's a local salon or spa in the area. Maybe we could get a manicure together?" Faye was still a new student here, no need to make herself isolated. And tempting her fellow classmates with some R & R after school would help to grow her image of popularity.
Turning back towards the Teacher, Faye lifted her chin and questioned Miss Erza, "Miss Erza. You said that this class is about learning to become a....what was it....a Coordinator? Isn't that just a fancy model that shows off Pokémon? What are the benefits of learning such things? It seems to me that you can make your Pokémon look good quite easily and that would be enough." Despite her unhappiness about being here, she was finding her curiosity peaked. It sounded like maybe becoming a Coordinator could make her quite well known. That was something of a weakness of hers. She liked to have the attention of people around her.

Iris stood up when the girl spoke to her. Iris almost flinch from the tone she could hear in her voice. However she focused on the words instead of the tone. "Amirah...that's a pretty name...wait really okay!" Iris looked back down as the Eevee since Bebe was still down near the ground to converse and greet the friend. Iris smiled before she blushed at the mention of her clothes. "Oh yea... my uniform.." Her face was getting red, making her freckles more visible. "Well normally I'm better kept but..." she moved her fingers as she retold her morning. "I had to apologize to a Fletchling for training on its home. I had a staring contest with a Natu and lost. I had a picnic with a Starly and I got dirty running from a Rufflet and I had to choose between being late or being dirty..."
Iris rubbed the back of her neck as she finished talking. Her widened a little as Faye now mentioned getting a manicure together. "Manicure?" Iris repeated. "Uh hmmm. That does sound nice. Normally after class, I go eat with my friends..." she smiled warmly at the word. "since we take different classes. "Hey, maybe we go with my friend when classes are all done for day and then we go into the district. That way we have more time to hang out."
As Iris finished answering, Faye was turned to the teacher and she the woman questions in regard to coordination. Iris added in some of her own words.
"Those sound like the people that make videos in Kalos and be on TV and get really popular." she said, gushing a little. "There's this one girl that is one that has a Zorua and it changes shape during the video into other pokemon and even into the girl. And there's costumes. She's my favorite."
Lillith returned her attention back to the girl name Faye as she asked her another question. Her lip twitched slightly as how...simple she made Coordination out to be as well as being a coordinator. But then again, that's why she was here to teach them. Lillith was about to teach when Iris started talking. The girl was a roll today. She was little more talkative than usual.
"You wouldn't be surprise how many people think like that." Lillith said as she approached the girl. "I wish I could I was model. I would probably got paid more...but that's another story. It's the showing of a pokemon's skills, looks, personality. Everything that makes your pokemon unique."
Lillith blinked at the last words before she chuckled, wearing her eye. "If that was how easy Coordination was, I would have a lot more trophies. Unfortunately it's not that easy. It's daily nutrition assessment. Daily grooming. Daily training and a whole lot of creativity. Miss Faye..."
Lillith said down on the stage and crossed her legs. "When you are a coordinator, you are working to make sure all eyes are on you and your pokemon. You work to make your pokemon shine in a performance as well as you. You work to coordination your moves, your appearance, the pokemon you're using. And it has to something new. Or else people will get seeing the same time over and over again and you're yesterday's news."
Lillith sighed with content. "You're learning this because even if you don't go into coordination, you will learn about take care of your pokemon and identify their needs. And you will learn some battle skills. Not as much as a battle class but it is a must. You will learn to connect with your pokemon with various level. Bond with them and be in sync. Maybe you'll learn a little something about yourself here....But that'll be up to you."
Chael stayed quiet and watched as his classmates bantered, opting to observe for now before deciding what action yo take. He'd want to explore a bit first before he tried catching the spotlight - allowing possible enemies to stay unknown was a promise for your demise. It was how Father had so quickly beaten a few of his competitors in Johto: he swooped in from under their nose. The loud girl with the fairy seemed interesting, if not mildly frustrating in how quickly she could bounce around. Regardless, she appeared to be the open type so he made a mental note to address her later. As for the final newcomer, the girl with the Eevee, he had decided to form an opinion later. It was impractical to catch someone when they were used to drawing in people and by the way she so easily stated that, it seemed that she wore such thoughts on her sleeve so to speak.
He looked up to his Professor with a half hearted chuckle. "It was a struggle enough to convince my parents to let me keep her, their ideal Pokemon was some kind of dog." Chael said, opting for a more vague word rather than a Riolu straight from Giratina's childhood nightmare. That ruddy thing was another story for another day. Nysa hummed in agreement at the extra pet. Mother had always kept as far away as she could, though she was barely at home over the last few years for that to even matter.
The professor's words were nice, but he personally didn't buy it. So what, training classes covered how to fight and coordination classes covered how to show off and catch the eyes of a crowd? Chael didn't bother adding anything, though it seemed that the girl had pressed a button. One jab at how many awards, and it would be a simple trip to the principle. That's what he figured. It was pointless information, as he didn't plan on being sent to a dean, but he took note of it nonetheless.

Wearing: Flygon uniform Thinking: How is a Pinsir going to fare in coordination class? Mood: Bored, hungry, thoughtful
X⇒ LOCATION : Coordination/Performance ClassXXXXX⇒ WITH : Iris, Niara, Mrs. Ezra, Phoebe, Chael, Tristan Ichiro continued to observe the new students as they interacted with Mrs. Ezra. He found it interesting that some of them were able to produce a note, explaining their absence, but the dark blue haired girl didn't seem to have any sort of paper, and instead had introduced herself apologetically. 'Phoebe Ambre...' Ichiro mused the girl's name aloud in his head. She seemed like a sweet and kind individual, the type of person he could see himself getting along well with. Then again, who couldn't he get along with? With his submissive nature and penchant for turning the other cheek, he had never considered himself at odds with anyone before in his life.
As the Kingdra female climb onto the stage with her Charmander in her grasp, Ichiro watched as she moved across the stage, seemingly noting the others that were there also. Right away, it seemed that Iris had gotten the attention of the other couple, students, so Ichiro decided to see if he could help get Phoebe involved in the class activity. After all, she probably could use something to get her mind off her tardiness that couldn't have been helped. Not that it was huge deal anyway.
After introducing himself and asking her to join in the day's activity, Ichiro smiled as she nodded back at him. He was glad that she seemed willing to get involved and even partner up with him, in taking care of Mrs. Ezra's Absol. When she set down, her Charmander, Ichiro figured he'd do the same with his pokemon, Snivy, since it probably wasn't a bad idea to let the two pokemon mingle and get to know one another. After all, since Ichiro had received Snivy from the school, he wasn't exactly sure of how much socializing the pokemon was use to. Maybe getting to know a fellow reptile-like pokemon would be good for him? Though, when Ichiro did put the reluctant grass pokemon down in font of him, he was almost immediately tackled by Phoebe's Charmander. Despite, being the same hight as the other pokemon, Snivy was knocked off his tiny feet and crashed to the ground with the Charmander landing on top of him. Snivy then proceeded to wriggle under the other pokemon helplessly, while unsure of what to make of the other pokemon. Though, he was a bit frightened of the tip of the other's tail, which only increased his urgency to get unpinned. When Phoebe did lift the other pokemon off of him, Snivy was quick to roll over and scurry behind Ichiro, poking head out a little bit from behind Ichiro's left leg.
Upon witnessing what just happened, the blond couldn't help but laugh at the sight. He'd never seen Snivy react so lively as he was now. He also thought it was pretty amusing seeing the way her Charmander fought being picked up. Fireball seemed like such energetic pokemon! "Hahaha. That Charmander only wants to play with you." He told his Snivy, in between fits of laughter. He just couldn't get over the look of desperation that was on Snivy's face before Phoebe rescued him. Wiping a few tears from his eyes, Ichiro smiled back at Phoebe amicably, after composing himself a little more. "It's okay." He assured her. "It's too bad Snivy isn't a little more outgoing, like your Charmander. He's a bit of a scaredy cat." He paused before adding. "By the way, Fireball is good name for a Charmander. He certainly seems like a little ball of energy. Now if only I could come up with just as good of a nickname for Snivy." Looking, down at his pokemon that who was still hiding behind his pant leg, Ichiro tried to shuffle around Snivy to get him to stay out in the open, but the grass snake was determined to keep rushing behind his leg every time he made a step away from the pokemon. "Oh well" Ichiro shrugged before turning his attention back to Phoebe. It seemed that Fireball wanted to get back on the ground, but soon opted to sit on her shoulders upon not getting his way. It looked cute they way he perched himself there. It wasn't a bad idea for carrying a 2' foot tall pokemon around, even if it did look kinda silly.
Ichiro soon watched as Phoebe pulled out her pokegear and had it identify Mrs.Ezra's Absol that was beside them. He didn't even think to do the same thing, even though he vaguely knew what pokemon it was. "That's not a bad idea." Ichiro commented before digging into his satchel to remove his own pink pokegear to scan the pokemon as well. It did have a fascinating, if not, dismal entry. But it felt good knowing that the pokemon's entry had been added to his growing collection of "seen" pokemon. Distracted by the device, Ichiro just then noticed that Phoebe had decided to be brave and pet the stoic pokemon as well. Without even realizing it, he momentarily held in his breath as he watched her slowly bring her hand up to the pokemon. She seemed just as nervous as he was initially, and was also equally as diligent. He hoped Anubis would be just as kind with Phoebe as he had been with him. Thankfully, the Absol seemed alright with the girl's gentle touch and hadn't protested at all, at least not from what he could tell. "His name is Anubis -- cool name, isn't it." Ichiro soon answered Phoebe after finally taking a breath. "He really likes being rubbed, I think." He then commented as he watched Phoebe carefully scratch under the pokemon's chin. To him, it sort of seemed as though Phoebe knew what she was doing. Maybe she had been around these scary-looking quadruped pokemon before? "You seem good at this." Ichiro then mentioned his thought aloud. "I-I mean, you seem to know how to act around tougher looking pokemon." He then corrected himself. "I thought for a moment that Anubis was going to bite you or something... but thank goodness that didn't happen." He then added nervously. He wasn't sure what to say to Phoebe, but he was just proud that Anubis had accepted her touch as well.
Just then, it seemed a fourth student had joined the class and this time, it was a blonde Charizard female, who seemed scorn for some reason or another. Ichiro half wondered if it was because she had arrived later than the others. Regardless, she had an adorable looking Eevee with her. Ichiro had never seen one in person, but it was admittedly one of his favorite pokemon. She was so lucky to have one. To his understanding, they were rare and one would probably have to be rich to afford one from a reputable breeder. However, his smile faltered some as he watched the girl suddenly scold her Eevee for making its way over to Fireball. What was the reason why her pokemon couldn't visit the others? Keeping silent a moment, Ichiro took note of the girl's name as she introduced herself to the class and their teacher. 'Faye... Valeri.... Rhoades... sounds like she's an established student.' Ichiro wondered to himself as he listened to her words about being a transfer student from an academy he had never even heard of, probably because he wasn't up to date on that sort of thing.
Momentarily taking his attention off of Faye, Ichiro looked back at Phoebe before shifting his attention to their teacher who had been admiring Chael's Pinsir. It was interesting that Mrs. Ezra was able to identify how well the pokemon had been kept based on the intricacies of its appearance. But aside from that, she had her Gardevior go fetch some papers to be handed out after Faye had intoned about the class lesson plan. Ichiro listen closely as their instructor then went on to sum up what the class would be about. He made a mental note to pick up the Syllabus paper after class, as it would be interesting to check out how the year would be planned out. It sort excited him in a way. Everything she had just described was just about everything he looked forward to about the class. Though, some of his classmates seemed less than excited about the class. It sort of made Ichiro wonder why that was the case, What was there not to like about performance and coordination?
His smile further faded when he noticed Iris approach Faye's Eevee, only to be chastised by the pokemon's owner for not properly maintaining her school uniform. Ichiro sort of felt sorry for Iris, knowing that out of all the days she had shown up to class this was the only time she looked a wreck, and it happened to be the same day that new students had joined the class. It was such bad luck. At least Phoebe didn't seem to mind that his own uniform was slightly muddily, or at least she didn't call him out on it in front of the class, like Faye had done to Iris. Shaking his head, he soon turned his attention back to Phoebe. "I don't know what think about that Faye... She seems kind of snooty if you ask me." He whispered to the Kingdra student beside him. "I really like her Eevee, though -- she's super adorable." He then mused before getting sidetracked once again. He realized that he still had his Pokegear out, which reminded him of something. "Phoebe... would you mind if I scan Fireball? I'd really like to have his entry in my pokedex." He then decided to ask. "If you like, you can scan Snivy for your pokedex, too."

ffffff↛Phoebe listened to Ms. Ezra talk about the syllabus, something she seemed to remember to get for her new students thanks to the newest girl. Phoebe already didn't agree with her on how she scolded her Eevee. She was very tempted to sit Fireball back down and direct him over to the girl just so the poor thing would be able to have some fun. She mentally shook her head and remembered the exact words she was told before leaving, 'Treat others how you'd like to be treated and be the bigger person' were her father's words to her. Her attention drew away from the girl and back to the teacher as she went on about coordination. Phoebe had only seen the coordinators on TV, but her favorite was the one where the pokemon were dressed up as another breed of pokemon! She had no intention of becoming a coordinator, but taking care of her pokemon would be important. Plus, the performance part of the class would make for interesting poses for her art! Shyly, Phoebe raised her hand for a second before asking Ms. Ezra, "What made you want to have a dream to follow coordination?" It was a question asked in curiosity and genuine interest. Her teacher was wise when it came to coordination, she had to start somewhere!
Until her teacher answered, she figured the other students would keep her busy or Phoebe spoke too softly again, she went back to the Absol. She smiled when Ichiro complimented Fireball's name and said he had trouble with giving his Snivy a nickname. She pondered for a moment before looking at the Snivy hiding behind. Phoebe nodded her head in greeting and spoke kindly to the pokemon, "Fireball really didn't mean to startle you, he isn't used to having pokemon his size around! I'm sure he'd listen if you told him he was too rough, perhaps even show him how you'd like to play?" Phoebe sat Fireball back down, who in return moved his arms back up to try and tell her he wanted up on her shoulders again. It wasn't until the word 'play' clicked for him that he went rushing back over to the Snivy. Around Ichiro's legs they went, as fast as their small legs could carry them. Phoebe gave a small laugh and a apologetic look to the boy in front of her. He could be stuck for a bit until one of them tires out.
Ichiro told her that the Absol's nickname was Anubis and she nodded in agreement on its level of coolness. It was such an exotic name for a seemingly exotic pokemon to her. Phoebe was back to petting him when Ichiro made the comment about her being good with tougher looking pokemon. She gave a nervous laugh and rubbed her arm, "My mom is a breeder and I said earlier, there aren't pokemon Fireball's size really. Plus, my mom has a Charizard! She told me when I'm older, she'll teach me how to fly on Fireball when he's a Charizard." Phoebe couldn't wait to fly up into the sky! She was sure Fireball couldn't either at times. He did not jump up onto furtiture and dive off of it, but he did watch the sky a lot; especially bird pokemon.
Phoebe went back to scratching Anubis, who seemed to really enjoy the attention he was getting. His mane was so puffy, at least to her small hands, like it was a cloud as cliche as that sounded. She didn't notice the other students really, she was more focused on the pokemon in front of her. It wasn't until Ichiro whispered to her that she gave her attention back to the people. Phoebe nodded and made a face, "I think yours and that girls' uniforms are fine," she whispered back to him, "You must of had fun outside." She smiled to him, slightly jealous that he got to the school before her. Maybe he'd show her around if she asked, even if they were in different houses! She nodded to his request to scan Fireball, "If you can get him to stay still," she laughed. She watched the pair of pokemon for a second before looking at him, "Are you in this class to be a coordinator?"
Faye's eyes crinkled a bit in confusion as Iris rattled off the names of the Pokémon she'd encountered that were responsible for her uniform's disarray. "Fletching? Natu? I have no idea what those are, but it sound like you had quite the morning. Personally, I would have taken a tardy lecture and cleaned myself up. But....well, you look...alright I suppose." Faye was trying very hard to be nice, but her neat freak was internally screaming at the appearance of Iris's clothes. But when the cheery green haired girl suggested hanging out with her own group of friends, Faye perked up and thawed a bit. A group to associated with would go a long way towards building her reputation up. She could assess Iris's friend and determined later if they were the right fit for her. Smiling more friendly towards Iris, Faye nodded in agreement, "That sounds acceptable Iris. It'll be my treat, seeing as I'm the new girl around here." She could more than afford an outing with a new group. When Iris spoke up about some of the Coordinator's being on TV, Faye really started to pay attention. She commented about a Zorua, which was actually a Pokémon Faye knew about. One of her friends/followers had one of the illusionary feline's. She'd always found the Pokémon to be a bit too mischievous for her tastes. But the comment of becoming well known, or even famous....oh yes....that really struck a cord with the Rhoades Heiress.
Faye listened closely as Miss Erza explained what Coordination was, about working with your Pokémon and getting the attention of the populaces. That sounded exactly up Faye's ally. "Sooo...what your saying is that becoming a Coordinator is a lot like becoming a famous singer or actor? You have to perform well and practice. But its a partnership with your Pokémon. Do Pokémon really needed that much care for Coordination? I mean, who decides how well you work with your Pokémon? Aren't they just supposed to listen to what you say?" She didn't really think that she could find a bond with Amirah. Pokémon were just fancy pets, right? Faye had never really thought of her Eevee in any other way. The other students seemed to have a different opinion. But....they were just commoners, so it was natural that they would be wrong.
Amirah, now allowed to play with Bebe, pounced back and forth in mock charges and chipped happily at the Flabebe. The little Eevee wagged her tail excitably. This was fun, she liked the Fairy Pokémon. She heard a sudden THUMP! and looked over to see the Chamander she'd wanted to play with early tackle a shy looking Snivy. Her ears perked up and she glanced over at her Trainer. Faye was absorbed in talking with the Teacher, so the Eevee nudged Bebe and padded over towards the two Pokémon. Fireball was chasing the Snivy around Ichiro. Her ears lifted and Amirah decided to go join the group, despite what her Trainer said. Pausing, the Eevee lowered herself down into a play bow before bouncing forward and jumping on Fireball's back. Being as she was smaller than the Charmander, Amirah more or less ended up hugging Fireball's back, with her front paws draped over the lizard's shoulder's.
Faye glanced over as Miss Erza apporched a large and very gross looking Pokémon. She called it a Pinsir and Faye didn't think she'd ever seen anything so disgusting in her life. Chael mentioned that his parents wanted him to have a different Pokémon, and Faye couldn't help but comment to the white haired boy as the Teacher moved away, "Maybe you should have let your parents get you a different Pokémon. That one is creepy and gross. Keep it away from me okay." She didn't try to hide her disgust at the Bug Type, edging away from Nysa. But Chael did look somewhat familiar and she titled her head a bit, "By the way, do I know you from somewhere? You look familiar. What's your name?" Faye stayed away from Chael's Pinsir, but did move a little closer to the quiet boy so she could talk with him.
It was around this time that Faye noticed Amirah had wandered off and was hanging off the Charmander. Frowning, she debated walking over and plucking her Eevee off the fire lizard. But she decided against it, opting for speaking a bit louder to Phoebe and Ichiro, "My Amirah is lacking in manner's and etiquette it seems. I'll work on that. If she's bothering you, I'll put her back in her Pokeball." The Eevee was having a ball, rolling onto her back and pawing at Fireball cutely. Faye felt her lips twitch a bit. Even she wasn't completely immune to Amirah's charms. Shaking it off, she looked to her other two fellow students, one in Kingdra colors and one in Salamance colors. Seems she was the only one from Charizard so far. It made her feel more important. She did notice that Ichiro had out the mini computer that she'd been told was call a PokeDex. Fishing through her pockets, Faye pulled out hers and flipped it open. Unintentionally, she had it pointed at Nysa the Pinsir and it scanned the Bug Type before she could stop it.
'Pinsir, the Stag Beetle Pokémon. Pinsir is astoundingly strong. It can grip a foe weighing twice its weight in its horns and easily lift it. This Pokémon's movements turn sluggish in cold places.'
Faye arched an eyebrow. That little tidbit of information made the gross Bug seem a little more interesting, but she still didn't want anything to do with it. But it was cool that she had a little computer to tell her about other Pokémon. Turning the PokeDex onto Miss Erza's three Pokémon, she pressed the button to scan them as well. Faye frowned when she scanned Ceres and raised her hand before speaking to the Teacher, "Miss Erza. Your Gard...." Quickly checking the PokeDex for the name, she kept speaking, "Gardevoir is a different color than the one in the computer. Did you put makeup on it? And you mentioned before about Coordinator performances? What exactly is that? Is it like a play or dance of some sort?" She was actually getting more interested in the idea behind the class. It sounded like a lot of work, which she didn't really like. But she could probably figure something out. Maybe she could get some of her fellow students to do her work for her.
