I've always been attracted to male/male relationships, and I was attracted to the beauty of the artwork for the first BL I've seen(Seimaden and Bronze).

I was reading a yugioh fanfiction that happened to be yaoi. I became obsessed with it and sought out other things that were like it.

I did came across with many yaoi pics, especially from yugi-oh; but what REALLY got me into yaoi was that I started visiting yaoi forums hunting for pics for my best friend (he's gay) and stomped with Sweet Home, Bitter Brother and just felt in love with it, I started looking for more and that's why I got into yaoi! whee

I have a funny story for how I got hooked.
One day on thanksgiving I was rather bored, and went on a digimon site hunt. I was only 11, so it was 2001. I simpleys stumbled upon a Taito/digimon yaoi site. I found it very interesting and was hooked from then on.
Tho, i went into a bit of a yaoi hating time and had to relearn to love it all over again. I thank my friend for getting me back into it when she grew obsesed with it late last year.

One day I watched an AMV with a bunch of kissing scenes and this one scene was from gravitation, i was like awwww that looked so sweet, so like a week after i bought the Box set, i had to wait for it so be shipped, and from then on I've liked it ever sine and my obsession and yaoi loving friends just kept on growing. ^_^ 3nodding

omg.. i forget.
no wait.
i think i got into yaoi because one day i just got sick of reading male/female fics cause they seem to be all the same. so i went looking for something new, and ended up running arcoss a Hiei/Kurama site and read a fanfiction.

how i got into it was that my friend liked it and at first i was like un but then i started to like it more and more until eventually i thought it was awesum.

I got a preview manga from tokyo pop with Eerie Queerie in it. ^.^ and that was a BL...but then after that I was like...let's look for something more..."FUN"

My friend that got me into anime and manga showed me Fake. That was the first manga, i was hooked on it. I've liked yaoi ever since.

well my friend got me into it..she told me i should read FAKE and that was the first yaoi manga i read. and she gave me love mode to read and it just got me super addicted..hahaa. -_-' but yeah. that's how my infatuation for gay couples happened. =)

My obsession happened when I was 13. I moved to a new school and about halfway thorough the school year I meet this girl named Samantha. We started talking and then we found out we had a lot in common. And then she introdused me to Harry Potter (more like threatened my life to read it sweatdrop ) and then she introduced me to the wonderfull pairing Harry/Draco *sighs dreamily* and my obsession kinda grew. I've been into anime forever and then I was like, hmmmm BL. And then I started to read fanfiction revulving around BL. And because of it my mind is always in the gutter, so when some a boy in one of my classes says something like 'OMG! back away from my man b***h!' They're only joking though. crying why can't they be serious? Er...anyway. Yeah thats how I became a yaoi/shounen-ai lover. 3nodding

Well I guess it would have to be when I was watch Cardcaptors and thought Sakura's brother and his friend where cute together. They were so close! Also my sister showed me Gravitation later^^ . Since then, well you know. mrgreen
